"Hello?" Taehyung answered the phone. "Oh, Jiminie… Uh..." He continued listening to him.

"Oh, this is second gate. I'm waiting outside, so you'll find me here.”

Jimin told him that he was coming with Yoongi.

"Alright, I'm waiting. Bye!" Taehyung ended the call and stared at the sky letting the fresh breeze blow through his hair. A while later, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Yo, Tae!" It was Jimin and Yoongi. They were talking to each other, waiting for Seokjin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Jungkook to come. Ten minutes later, Namjoon, Seokjin and Jungkook were here. They waited for the last member, Hoseok.

"Yah! When is he going to come?!? I want to eat the pizza!" The oldest complained and regretted what he said. "I-I mean... For how long are we gonna stand?"

They waited for another five minutes and that was when Hoseok came with a pile of books.

"Whoa! What the- Hobi-hyung, what's that for?" Jimin asked, more confused than ever.

Hoseok laughed nervously and pouted. "Aoi... I don't even know why I brought it up!"

"Bring what up?" Namjoon asked as he helped Hoseok carry the books.

"So, after I had lunch with Aoi.... We were talking about our favourite books and she told me that she read more books than me - which I found false - so I suggested a challenge where we should read ten books by this week, and later answer a quiz that we will prepare for each other to check whether we actually read the books or not. Actually, it doesn't really make much sense, but... It's a challenge after all, so yeah?"

They all laughed. Then they decided to go inside. Taehyung laid the picnic mat and the others helped him too. They sat down together and had some snacks. Jungkook eagerly wanted to sit next to Taehyung but the older pulled Hoseok in between.

‘Really, hyung? Really? Even after what I did to help you at the store?'’ The younger thought as he sat beside Namjoon. They were eating snacks while sharing jokes and stories. It was really fun.

"Alright, can we play now? Please!" Hoseok requested and the others agreed. And that was when Hoseok winked at Namjoon, who smiled in return. Namjoon ped his bag and took out a chessboard. "Let the chess matches begin! Who wants to go first?"

Everyone looked at each other, a little creeped out because of the sudden declaration. Since no one volunteered, Hoseok played first. Jungkook scooted closer to Taehyung.

"Good luck, hyung-deul!" Taehyung cheered for the two in duel, but lowered his voice when he realised that he was next to Jungkook. "Jiminie, let's have a walk around the park!" Taehyung jumped up and tugged Jimin's shirt.

Jimin agreed, Yoongi tagged along.

"Namjoon, Hoseok, good luck with the match. We'll be back- Guys, wait! I am coming with you three!" Seokjin said as he followed the trio. Jungkook joined them too. Seokjin pushed Jungkook to walk next to Taehyung, who found it uncomfortable.

"The son of a buffalo was leaving for university. What did the father say to his son?" Seokjin started off with his jokes.

"I know- But I'm not going to say since, well, you'll be disappointed..." Yoongi explained.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "Since when are you so nice?"

Jimin laughed while Yoongi sighed. "Maybe I changed him? You should be thanking me!”, he said and so they did.

After a round around the park, they decided to meet up with Hoseok and Namjoon, for it was almost 7 and they wanted to have dinner.

"Checkmate again!" Namjoon fell on his back in laughter while Hoseok just gaped at him with emotionless eyes.

"Alright! That's it!" Hoseok yelled as he flipped the chessboard, and all the pieces flew away into the bushes.
