Memories
7 Paths, 1 DestinationSchool was soon over and it was time to go home. "Come on! What are you two waiting for?" Hoseok asked while struggling to wear his backpack. He tried to reach the strap but couldn't.
Taehyung didn't say anything and just kept walking towards his house. Jungkook reminded the others about his bike and then ran behind Taehyung.
"Oh, hey." The older looked down, hands in his pocket, lips formed into a pout. Jungkook noticed that. He wanted to cheer up his new friend.
"Why don't you come over to my house once you're done with your homework? Maybe at 5 since we don't have much homework today? You have to get to know the others, you know?"
"But I just met them..."
"But you need to know more about us! You know, about our families, hobbies, interests and other stuff."
As Jungkook said that, Taehyung's eyes were filled with tears, thinking about the amazing times he had with his friends, and how wonderful life was. But he knew he couldn't just tell them the truth now because that would only lead to more disturbance.
Jungkook coughed for attention. He glanced at Taehyung. "Hyung, you're crying? What's wrong?" He watched the older rub his eyes and gulp down several times.
"I think- I think something went in my eye. T-That's all..."
"Okay, whatever you say... So, at 5?" Jungkook eagerly wanted Taehyung to re-join the Golden Friends so that they can start over again.
Taehyung nodded, afraid to speak in a shaky voice. Ten minutes later, they were already in the neighbourhood, they talked about the bikes of their friends that were now near the houses.
