You were on skype to your girlfriend of 2 years. You had met online, sharing a love for kpop. You were careful at first not giving her any personal information until you had known each other for 4 months. Talking face to face you slowly got closer and started dating. For your 2 year anniversary you decided to fly to Korea to surprise her.

You stood at Incheon airport, the first steps on Korean soil were the most nerve racking. You took the ring bound notebook out of your bag, flicking through pages finally stopping at her address, you’d asked her where she lived once when you were both on skype together. You didn’t tell her you were coming to Korea, she thought it would be the usual skype celebration and a letter in the post.

You walked up the seven flights of stairs in her apartment building hating lifts, much preferring the exercise. As you reached her floor you walked passed multiple doors looking at the numbers. As you reached 79A you came to a stop, getting yourself together and preparing for the worst situation you lifted your hand to the door. You stopped with the all too familiar
