Prolog
"We're not supposed to be together again."
Chaerin could hardly believe the words that had just been said by him.
"Chaerin-ah, I'm so sorry. For everything that we've been through, I know it must be hard for you. But I just can't take this anymore. I should end this now, I'm sorry."
She just stood there, trying her best to say some words but she couldn't make it. It was hard for her to speak up some words, seemed like her voice got stuck in , and she felt like just stabbed by a dagger strike to her heart. All she knew was, it hurts.
Until he left her there, standing still. Chaerin tried to hold back the tears that already welled up her eyes as she watched his back disappearing. She felt numb that she didn't even realize that rain poured down and camouflaging the tears that flow down her cheeks. No matter how hard she tried not to cry, she just couldn't take it. The pain was just too unbearable.
She fell on her knees, cried her heart out.
