"You ready to tell me what happened back there?" You asks just above a whisper.

I.M shook his head gently against the leather seat of his Audi R8. After calming down your best friend, you decided for the both of you to stay in his car for a while. With the engine running and the sound of the air conditioned in the background, both you and I.M merely faced each other while laying down on the inclined leather seats.

"Sooner or later, you have to tell me Changkyun... You know you can't keep things away from me for too long" you mumble as you swipe his fringe slightly.

I.M kept mum and merely stared at how concern you look of him. They were so many things going in his head at the moment. From the news he got earlier before getting here to how he should've gave another beating to that director to how absolutely beautiful you look right in front of him.

"What about you?" he voices softly "What happen at the airport?"

You paused avoiding his eyes on you but continued playing with his fringe.

"Just a small incident. It was nothing. I'm sorry I left you hanging. I should have called you to tell you I was fine" you said dropping your hand your lap and gave him a soft smile.

"Why were you at the hospital then?" he asks frowning.

"Ho-how did you" you blinked before shaking your head "Forget it. I don't want to know" you sigh looking away.

"Heechul hyung told me. I'm sorry. I know you hate it whenever I ask him where you are" I.M starts as he collects your hand in his "But you have to understand. You weren't answering my calls and that made me absolutely crazy" he stressed.

You look at him and soften. This whole day didn't only took a large toll from you but also on your best friend as well. It really seemed like everything has been going downstream ever since you got back to Seoul.

"When are you flying to Paris?" he asks catching your attention again.

"Tomorrow" you answered softly.

Then the two of you turn quiet, and the mood between you two dampens even more. Your eyes fell after your hand still in his and merely stares after his thumb caressing your knuckles gently.

"I guess there's really nothing I could say to make you stay huh?" he asks barely a whisper with his head down.

You looked up to him and softens. It really does break your heart to see your best friend like this but the more you think of staying in Seoul the more perplexed were your emotions. It was best that you get away from all of it as soon as possible.

"I'll call you every week" you promised squeezing his hand.

I.M chortles with a smile tugging slightly in the corners of his lips. He raises his head and looks at you.

"I don't think that'll be possible anymore" he whispers as he brings your hand to his lips and kisses your knuckles gently.

You watched frowning slightly. What did he mean by that? But before you could ask him, a knock on your side of the window could be heard. Turning heads, the both of you were surprised to see someone standing outside.

-In the meantime, at the Yoo's Manor-

"You called, Director" the secretary enters the home office after knocking.

"Yes Secretary Park. Thank you so much for coming at such short notice" Kihyun turns away from the window to shake hands with the elder.

"No sir. It's the least I can do. How are you feeling?" he asks.

"To be honest" Kihyun starts as he circles around his table to his seat "Excellent now that I know my father will be behind bars soon" he smirks leaning back onto his leathered chair.

"Of course" Secretary Park nods still standing.

"Did you bring the documents I told you to?" Kihyun asks tapping slightly on his arm chair.

"Yes, I did" the latter opens his briefcase and takes out a large brown envelope before passing it to the Director.

Kihyun accepted the envelope and immediately unties the string and slips the documents out. He scans through the first page before flipping through the others.

"And you are sure these are valid and very much legalized?" the Director asks with an arch eyebrow.

"Yes sir. I've even consulted with the court and they agreed that the loop hole you've found in the original contract could be used in your defense" Secretary Park assures.

"Excellent. Good job Secretary Park. I knew I could count on you" Kihyun beams standing up to shake hands once again.

"Thank you sir. I was just doing my job" the latter bows.

"And one more thing" the Director starts still holding hands "About Boston. I assume it is also been taking care off?" he asks.

"Of course sir. My subordinates has confirmed of everything there and he has already made contact with your friend" he informs diligently.

"Perfect. Then it won't be long till he says yes then" Kihyun smiles.

"Jooheon oppa" you blinked as you pulled your hand away from I.M to open the door.
