"Thank you for bringing me back home oppa" you softly said as you unbuckled your seatbelt.

"It's nothing Joo. I'm just glad you're feeling better" Kihyun assures softly before taking your hand from your lap.

You look down to where your hand is as Kihyun gently rubbed your knuckles. Feeling his gaze on you, you kept your head down shyly.

"Driver Park. Would you mind giving us a few minutes please?" Kihyun smiled to his chauffeur up front.

"Of course Director Lee" the elder nods before leaving the car as told.

After making sure that his driver really is out of sight, Kihyun turns to face you again. He reaches for your lilac hair where he gently pushes it back and curls it behind your ear, revealing your face more.

"We still haven't talked about what happened back there in the ward Joo" he started softly as he ducks to try and catch your eye.

You bit your bottom lip. It is true that you've been keeping your mouth shut the whole ride from the hospital for a reason. It's just that you can't seem to acknowledge the whole ordeal.

"I won't go around the bush but I just want you to know that words can't describe how happy I am and I want you to know that what happened back there really did reflect my feelings for you" Kihyun smiles before caressing your face.

"Kihyun oppa" you called softly.

"About what happened-" you started but couldn't finish when the door on Kihyun's side suddenly opened and he was immediately dragged out of the car.

Eyes wide you quickly scrambled out of the car following the latter, just in time to see your best friend throwing a punch in your ex's face.

"Changkyun!" you shouted in horror.

I.M glanced at you over his shoulder before punching the latter once more.

"Changkyun stop!" you shrieked hugging him over his arms from behind making him drop Kihyun on the ground.

"Let go, Joo!" I.M shrugged you off before going down on one knee and grab Kihyun by the collar.

Kihyun spat blood to the side before facing the younger with a smirk.

"You think this whole thing is a joke, isn't it? Joo, Jennie, your father. the company and even me! Everything is a fcking joke to you right?!" I.M accused angrily.

"Changkyun" you cried "What are you doing?"

Kihyun his lips before glaring at his so-called friend in front of him. He then turned to face you and softens.

"I don't know what he's going on about Joo but rest assured it's okay. I'm okay" Kihyun said as he faces the younger again.

"You fcking bastard" I.M swore as he raised his fist but was again stopped by you.

"Stop it Im Changkyun or I swear to God this will be the last time we ever see each other" you glared eyes b.

I.M looked at you and sighs in defeat. He lets go of Kihyun before standing back up to grab hold of your hand and started pulling you towards the entrance of your apartment building. Kihyun merely watches as the two of you entered behind the automatic sliding doors. He gave a small assuring smile when he sees you looking behind over your shoulder. But just as the two of you disappeared out of sight, Kihyun's smile dropped.
