Scenario: I am spending Christmas holidays with Jimin and the other BTS members. I'm excited to give everyone a gift but they all start to worry when I get start to get sick. I even have a panic attack one night at the dorm, thus making Jimin really upset and worried, I refuse to get a heart checkup but when I do it turns out I need to go into surgery right after Christmas! Until then, jimin and the others try to make me happy as a bee and try to help get my mind off of it, :) merry Christmas btw and I hope u like my idea!!! :D

“Do you need more water? More fruits? Is it too cold? I can ask for another blanket-“

“Oppa!” Laura cut Jimin off, and she couldn’t help but laugh at how he was behaving. “I’m fine, really.” She assured him and patted the space next to her on the bed. “So how about you have a decent talk with me for once instead of worrying around like a mother hen?”

“You know why I’m behaving like this,” Jimin sighed and settled next to Laura. “That panic attack was really uncalled for and suddenly you need a surgery! Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”

“This is exactly why I refused to go for a check-up in the first place,” she pointed at the drip that was attached to her wrist and pouted. “And I can’t believe the doctors scheduled my surgery to be right after Christmas! How mean can they get?” She huffed. “Now my Christmas has to be spent at the hospital. To think I was looking forward to celebrating with you guys, too.”

Jimin kissed her pouting lips and chuckled. “We don’t mind celebrating after your surgery, even if it means being late.” He shrugged. “What matters is that you’re well and healthy.”

“Yeah, but it’s Christmas!” She whined. Christmas had always been a big deal for Laura, since she came from a Catholic family. Every year, without fail, she’d always share the joy of giving by packing small bags of sweets and sharing it with her classmates. Even though it was just a small gesture, it was still something special.

She was looking forward to enjoying the Christmas turkey that her mom makes every year and spending it with the BTS boys, but it seemed like the plan went out the window judging from the situation now.

A knock made the two of them turn towards the door, and a nurse peeked in. “Sorry to interrupt,” She pushed a trolley of medicines and a blood pressure machine into the room. “Laura, it’s time for your medicines. And after that you’d need to rest. And also,” She turned towards Jimin and casted him a knowing look. “It’s already past visiting hours three hours ago.”

“Alright, alright.” Jimin raised his hands up, as if surrendering, and stood up. “I’ll see you tomorrow, babe.” He placed a kiss on Laura’s forehead and waved goodbye to the nurse. “Bye, noona! See you at home!”

Once the door slammed shut, Jieun heaved a sigh as she measured Laura’s blood pressure. “Still have no idea how that kid managed to get you as a girlfriend when he’s like a pile of at home.”

Laura chuckled at her comment. “He’s not that bad. And he takes really good care of me, really.”

“Which is really surprising because he doesn’t even ask if I’m okay even if I’m lying on the floor shriveling in pain.” The machine beeped and Jieun let out a smile. “Well your blood pressure seems okay. I’ll leave the meds here and just take it when you want to sleep, okay?”

“Thanks, unnie,” Laura beamed and Jieun ruffled her hair before heading out of the room.

Laura sighed as she washed the tablets down with mouthfuls of water. It was already Christmas tomorrow, and she’s stuck in the hospital taking medicines and news TV.

The drowsiness kicked in and she snuggled into the warmth of her blanket. The bed wasn’t anywhere near as comfortable as the one at home, but the drowsiness made even sleeping on mud comfortable and she slowly drifted off to sleep.

“Should we wake her up?”

“No! Let her sleep a while more.”

“But the turkey would get cold!”

“Aish, keep it down would you? You’re gonna wake her up at this rate!”

Laura stirred in her sleep and slowly adjusted her eyes to the brightness.

Once she fully opened her eyes, she raised an eyebrow at the people surrounding her bed. “What are you guys doing here so early?”

The BTS boys shared some glances and Rap Monster started counting down.

“One, two, three! JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE ALL THE WAY~~” The boys chorused and Laura couldn’t help but laugh and sing along.

Merry Christmas, Laura!” They ended the chorus session and took out the turkey from who-knows-where and placed it on the table.

“What’s all this for?” She asked, still confused about the sudden chorus and turkey in front of her.

“Well, we figured since you can’t celebrate with us outside, we’ll just bring the celebration to you instead! Merry Christmas!”

Laura softened, touched at the boys’ gesture. “It was my idea!” Jimin butted in and Laura chuckled.

Of course it was his idea; only he would come up with such a thing.

The party continued with the cutting of the turkey (which RapMon took the biggest portion) and gift exchange. But since Laura’s gifts for the boys were still at home, they allowed her to give hers to them after she got out of the hospital.

They slowly went home as the night fell, and Jimin was the last one left. “Did you like the Christmas party?”

“Of course I did,” Laura softened and hugged him. “Thanks for everything.”

Jimin pecked her lips and hugged her closer. “Everything’s worth it as long as it’s for you.”

And even though Laura spent her Christmas in the hospital, it was the most fun she ever had.
