You're cute
- Ji Young POV -
"Hey Ji Young-ah!" Jimin said, walking towards me. I was sitting in the park close to my house, just staring out into the lake. I felt myself surprised. I did not feel at all awkward to see him out of school like this, although I would normally.
"Oh, Jimin-ah," I said and he sat down next to me on the bench. We stared out to lake for a while. Just admiring the beautiful blue water and the sounds of the birds.
"I wanna show you something," he said after a while.
"Huh?" I asked and looked at him. He took my hand and tugged on it until I stood up.
"Let's go," he said and started walking onto the path and I followed.
"Where are you taking me?" we had almost reached the end of the pathway and we were reaching the end of the park.
"Somewhere I'm almost certain you have never seen," he said. I laughed to myself. I've been here over a million times, I doubt that there's a place I have not seen.
"I'm pretty sure I've seen every little corner of this-" I stopped in the middle of my sentence when we approached the end of the path. Jimin turned and forced two trees apart, making a small parting to walk through and held the trees apart for me. When I looked up, I saw a beautiful clearing that was surrounded by large trees. It was no wonder I had never seen this place around, the trees were so big that from the outside it looked like a forest, who would've thought that there was flat land in the middle of it. "Wow! I didn't know that there was a place like this!" I exclaimed and Jimin looked pleased at my reaction.
"The only people that knew this place were my friends and I," Jimin said to me.
"It's beautiful," I whispered and slowly walked over to the overgrown flowers that were residing on the bench. It couldn't even be called a bench anymore, now it looked more like a flower bed.
"It is," Jimin nodded and sat down in the middle of a field of daisies and started picking at them. I went and sat next to him and stared into the distance.
"This reminds me of my old days," I smiled, "my brother and I used to go to places like this all the time," I said.
"Brother?" he asked.
"Oh yeah, I had a twin brother," I said.
"Had?" he asked.
"Had," I nodded and looked to the floor. I felt that he was giving me a hint to explain further but as if he had failed, he sighed and flopped his back to the ground. I watched him as he did this and he stared up at the sky with a sad smile on his face. I followed him and lay next to him.
"I have a unique story to tell too," he said quietly. I waited for him to continue and he did. "I don't remember anything from before I was 12," he said. "The earliest memory
