Twenty Five
The Clock's Footsteps“Where’s HyunA?” Rachel asked, surrounded by about two dozen people.
“Not sure,” Brian answered, standing at the right of Rachel. “I’m sure she wanted to go see her friends.”
“Oh…,” Rachel seemed a little disappointed.
“I can go find her for you,” Brian smiled.
“Thank you,” Rachel smiled back, then laughed. “I must be so needy. I just want to spend as much time as I possibly can with her.”
“Of course,” Brian laughed with her.
Brian looked around only to find out that HyunA had been everywhere except now nowhere to be found in the company building. He had to finally go to the security office to find that HyunA left the building almost an hour ago, but his heart dropped when he saw who left soon after.
“Derik…,” Brian’s airily spoke. “No…”
Brian then quickly dialed his cell phone for Sabrina as he ran out the door.

We were in the middle of nowhere; a large quiet junkyard with no one around for miles… the perfect place where someone could kill me. I hesitated but noticed a rusty piece of sharp metal at my side. I knew I had to keep talking to stall him, “Outer appearances can be deceiving… then again, you should know all about it.”
Derik turned to face me then smirked even more and turned back, “What do you mean?”
“You seem so normal,” I continued. “But in reality… you’re a sick psychopath.”
Derik laughed loudly, “You think I’m the psychopath? Hone
