It's only been three days in which Jungkook hasn't seen Taehyung and saying he missed him would be a very huge understatement. 

Taehyung had gone to visit family back in Daegu after painstakingly receiving instructions through phone call. He had come to Seoul through car and had no way of returning without the use of public transport. 

In Jimin and Yoongi's dorm, the couple sighed tiredly as they saw the youngest mope about on their floor, rolling and rolling around all the while crying about how he missed his boyfriend's presence. 

"Jungkook, it's been three days. Stop it." Yoongi said just as Jungkook started crawling to him whimpering about how he needed Taehyung to breathe. 

"You're acting like a baby. Cut it out!" Yoongi said again, frowning and lightly hitting the younger on the head with a fist. 

Okay, maybe not so lightly. 

"OW!" Jungkook gripped his head with a glare. "Taehyung wouldn't have done that-" 

"You're being so attached. Taehyung's not coming back in another day or two, so stop whinging!" 

And this is when Jungkook turned to Jimin. 

"Your boyfriend is being mean to me! Taehyung doesn't do that!" 

"Oh. My. Gosh. Just come here." Jimin said, patronisingly. He's about done with how the other was acting as well and prayed that Taehyung would come back alive and well so he didn't have to take this anymore. 

Jungkook clambers off the floor and runs into Jimin's embrace, practically asking to be like a puppy. 

Yoongi frowns and crosses his arms by his desk with pale legs crossed. Meaning that he's not about to take anymore nonsense. 

"He's not air. You'll just have to stick it out without him for two days at most." he reasons. 

"He's my air." Jungkook responds and Yoongi uncrosses his arms and makes a big show of rolling his eyes, slumping forward and turning his chair around. 

"I'm done." 

Jimin laughs at this. 

"Come on, Jungkook. Taehyung calls you everyday, doesn't he?" he says. "How his phone plan handles that I don't know." he mutters to himself. 

"But he hasn't called me today, yet. He said yesterday he's going to be out for dinner and whatnot but it's the afternoon! Shouldn't he have time to call me now?" 

"Jungkook, Taehyung needs some time with his family. He can see you everyday when he gets back." Jimin tells him. 

"But what if he's in trouble? Like, there's been some sort of thing and he needs my help??" Jungkook says, eyes growing wide. 

"Child, this is not a movie. He's fine." Yoongi says from across the room, now busying himself with a piece of paper. 

"But-" 

"No buts! Come on, I'll take you out? How does that sound, yeah?" Jimin coaxes him. "I'll take you out to the restaurant-" 

"Taehyung would have taken me to the ice cream parlour-" 

"FINE ice cream it is!" Jimin says, trying to control the annoyance slowly building inside him and eager to make him just SHUT UP. 

Oh my gosh, is this what it feels like to take care of a child? Yoongi, sorry. I'm having second thoughts. 

Jimin thinks to himself. 

Jungkook then decides to go out with Jimin and Yoongi and goes back to his dorm on the floor above to get ready. 

"Yoongi, you're coming." Jimin says as the door closes. "I can't deal with him by myself." 

"But you asked him." Yoongi said. 

"Which means you're also involved." Jimin concludes. "Come on, everything he says will be 'Taehyung this' 'Taehyung that', you have to help me." 

"That's why I don't want to go. But the kid wouldn't leave this place if we don't take him out for a treat or something. Who knows if Taehyung will come back saying we didn't take care of his boyfriend." 

"Get changed." Jimin tells him when he was satisfied with his agreement of going. 

"I'm fine like this." 

As Jimin waited for Jungkook to come back after changing, Jimin says the same time as Yoongi, 

"We're not having kids." 

They look at each other and they grin, slowly laughing lightly. "We'll see. Maybe we might change our mind." 

"Well, not for a long while after we're done babysitting an overgrown muscle pig." Yoongi replies. 

Jungkook comes back to their door in a few minutes, still looking down that 'his Taehyungie' wouldn't be taking him out instead. But Jimin and Yoongi do their best to pacify the kid and almost desperate to shove the ice cream in his mouth so that he'll shut up about 'Taehyung would have fed me' or 'Taehyung would have known what I wanted' or 'Taehyung would BLAH BLAH'. 

Jimin and Yoongi sat down with Jungkook by a table at the ice cream parlour. cones or eating out of cups. Thankfully, Jungkook had stopped grumbling about Taehyung and was content on eating a triple choc ice cream with Yoongi having a mint chocolate and Jimin with a vanilla with chocolate sauce and some added nuts. 

Once they were done, they threw away empty cups and spoons. 

"So, want to head back now? Or you still want to stay out a big longer?" Yoongi looks over at Jungkook who was holding onto his phone for dear life. 

"I want Taehyung to call me." he says instead and Yoongi grits his teeth. 

"That's not what I asked." 

"Jimin why won't-" he turns to the other and Jimin says immediately, 

"I don't know, Kook. So what do you want to do?" 

The couple watch as Jungkook opens his mouth to respond, but they suddenly say, 

"Nothing about Taehyung, we can't do anything about the fact that he's not here right now." 

His mouth shuts immediately and he bites his lips. 

And then the overly sentimental kid starts crying. Yoongi and Jimin's eyes widen in shock and slowly panic. 

"Oh my gosh- w-why are you crying?" 

"Hey, you okay, come on don't cry. Taehyung will be back soon, okay?" Jimin pats his back, like why was he crying?! His boyfriend isn't dying! 

"I want to hug him." he sniffles into Jimin's shirt and he pulls them both out of way, which they stood right infront of the ice cream parlour. 

"What the- NO STOP." Yoongi tells him. 

"And to think you're the popular one, wow, when did you get so soft?" Jimin says, patting the back of the younger who had already stopped his emotional wave. 

Yoongi also shuffles to the side by the shop wall, pushing them almost hurriedly and embarrassed to the tip of his ears. 

Alright, that's it. No kids. 

He decides in his head.
