Jungkook and Taehyung stroll into the café, hands intertwined and giggling to each other. Whispering sweet nothings into each others' ears and light jabs and tickles as they enter earned them strange glances. But it only earned joy and laughter from the couple themselves.

The two sit down at a table and Taehyung makes a point to pull out a chair for Jungkook and act as if he's Jungkook's butler.

"Sir, if you may." he says in a deep voice, an arm of his pressed gently horizontal to his body as he gestures to the chair.

Acting professional, he bows slightly and he manages to get a rather cute, high-pitched giggle from Jungkook.

Taehyung smiles.

"Why, thank you. Now fetch me a menu." Jungkook says, crossing his legs and holding out a hand, as if expecting something.

Taehyung scoffs and laughs, losing the butler attitude and hitting Jungkook's outstretched hand, just giving him a high five. Jungkook grins.

Taehyung sits on the opposite chair and leans over the table, staring at Jungkook who was also watching him.

"Sit beside me, why are you over there?" Jungkook whines to Taehyung.

"I'm not even two metres across this tiny table, you can reach your hand out and you'll already be touching me." Taehyung rolls his eyes, calling over a waitress.

Jungkook juts his bottom lip out and frowns, kicking Taehyung under the table. The other flinches and stares with wide-eyes at the other when the waitress comes over holding two menus in her hands.

"Honestly, you are such a child." Taehyung chides, leaning over the table and lifting his hand up to Jungkook's head.

Jungkook thought Taehyung was going to hit him lightly on his head, so he flinched away from him. Only for Taehyung to ruffle up the younger boy's hair affectionately and gave him a light-hearted and amused smile that made Jungkook's insides soft.

As the waitress came over and handed them the menus, she talked to Taehyung about the specials that day. Meanwhile, Jungkook made sure his lungs hadn't melted along with the rest of his body by taking in a sharp intake of breath, simultaneously confirming that he knew how to breathe.

Maybe he was being a bit dramatic, but as he stared at how Taehyung's eyes lit up and he laughed with a box smile at something the waitress said, Jungkook couldn't help but feel himself fall in love with Taehyung that bit more-

Hold it, is that waitress hitting on the one that belongs to, ahem, ME?

Jungkook snaps to reality snatches up the menu with more force than necessary, ordering the first thing he saw on the front.

"Hey, you, yeah you, you're supposed to be taking orders, right?" Jungkook called to her in a displeased tone. "So stop talking with my boyfriend and take my order."

Jungkook wasn't too happy that some girl tried to take Taehyung off his hands on their, what, first date? Irked, he didn't glance at Taehyung who was figuring out Jungkook's 180 degree change.

The waitress blinked with wide eyes, surprised by the attitude of the handsome male.

"O-Okay, sorry. What can I get you?" she says, getting over the shock quickly but still in a daze. Getting a pen out, she waited for Jungkook to order.

Jungkook glances down at the menu.

"I want the- uh.." he trails off, not knowing how to say the first drinks on the menu.

Why the hell is this all in English with those ticks at the top? What, does the menu have to be marked? What is this called in English, apostohee? Apostrophee? No, that's not right..

Taehyung notices this and he can't help but laugh. The waitress catches on as she sees Jungkook's eyes trained on one specific name of a coffee, so he couldn't have the excuse of having not made up his mind. She turns amused and there's a smile over her lips.

Jungkook's cheeks turn red in embarrassment, feeling the heat as his face takes on a deep blush. He lifts his head to glare at his boyfriend. Taehyung's still laughing, but seeing an embarrassed Jungkook doesn't make him stop.

"Stop it." hisses Jungkook and Taehyung reduces his laughter to small outbursts of random laughs and giggles.

Jungkook, as his boyfriend finds it endearing. But apparently, someone also finds it charming.

That waitress, I- Oh my gosh-Why is-Can she just not-Go away, like please. Ugh

"Look here, you better get this all down, you hear? I'm not saying this twice." Jungkook puts the menu down and glares at her with tinted cheeks. He huffs cutely, intending to make her life difficult as he places an order off the top of his head.

The waitress brings her eyes over to Jungkook and casually lifts up the notepad, expecting Jungkook to say some rubbish English order. She turns confused when she sees the menu placed on the table. 

Jungkook speaks while thinking to himself and making up decisions on the spot.

"I want one Quad Grande-" What the hell is that, but I heard Dad order it  "With sugar free syrup-"  Ew  "No, cancel that I want an Expresso with whipped cream-" Does that even taste nice?  "Put exactly 50mL of milk-" Is that too much or too little?  "With ice, make sure it's cold-"  What exactly does a cold expresso taste like  "Actually no, make it hot-" What else can I put in this  "Put caramel on the whipped cream-" This better taste good  "I also want foam-" No I don't  "Change, no foam-"

The waitress was going into a panic trying to list all the things Jungkook wanted and crossing them out when he changed his mind.

Taehyung was sitting still looking at Jungkook make the waitress stress with the biggest, brightest box smile full of sunshine and rainbows stretched over his face. 

Taehyung had never even heard of a Quad Grande, was that even real?

He briefly wondered if Quad and Grande were two different things when Jungkook finished his most probably disgusting tasting drink order.

"-Put in pink and white marshmallows on the side and make sure there's chocolate in the order." he finished.

At this, Taehyung couldn't help but laugh as he heard the last of what Jungkook wanted in his drink. He was still a baby inside.

The waitress stared at the messy writing on the notepad and tried to figure out what she wrote down.

Jungkook leaned back in his seat, pleased. Not with his order, but yes, with his order. Not pleased with his order because he didn't know what he had said besides marshmallows and chococlate but pleased with his order because it made the waitress almost lose her mind.

Taehyung looks at the waitress and calls out to her,

"I'll have a Venti Iced Coffee. With a waffle and- Jungkook, what ice-cream do you want?" Taehyung faces the other and Jungkook's eyes glint mischief.

"Well, we can have the mint chocolate or cookies and cream with chocolate sauce and strawberries-"

"We'll just take a cookies and cream with whipped cream and maple syrup." Taehyung says before Jungkook can order another bunch of other things.

The waitress nods, dazed and Jungkook almost laughs, not bothered he didn't get what he 'wanted' on the waffle.

"Jungkook, what did you just order?" Taehyung laughs now when he sees the waitress disappear behind the counter.

Smiling, Jungkook brings his chair next to Taehyung's and latches his arms around his boyfriend's arm. He leans down and rests his head on the other's shoulder.

He answers with,

"I don't know what I ordered, but I don't really want to drink it."

Taehyung frees his arm from Jungkook, then he proceeds to wrapping them securely around the younger. The younger is leaning on him and Taehyung rests his cheek on Jungkook's fluffy head.

"I'll drink it for you." he says. 

Jungkook shifts to a more comfortable position, burying his face in Taehyung's neck.

"If you really want to. I can drink it though. It was just that the waitress was really annoying me-"

"You were jealous, weren't you?" Taehyung smiles. 

"I was, and it was your fault. Why did you-" 

"I love you, Jungkook." Taehyung interrupts the other.

He his lips nervously, hoping Jungkook would feel the genuine love and sincerity in those words.

Jungkook lifts his head from the other's shoulder to meet Taehyung's gaze.

"I love you too, Taehyung." he says.

Jungkook leans in to kiss the other and he closes his eyes. Taehyung, caught off guard for a second, blinks but he doesn't move away. Taehyung's eyes flutter close and Jungkook closes the gap between them, their lips meeting in a kiss sweeter than the caramel on top of Jungkook's drink.
