It was evening. The six years old Hyuna just finished coloring the dinosaur in her colouring book. Her older brother was just beside her doing his homework. Hyuna just put her coloring pencil down when she heard something like a glass broke and scater from outside. Both she and her brother were startled. Sunggyu shook his head and he muttered 'not again.'   "Oppa?" The young Hyuna asked her brother innocently. "Is daddy angry again?"   It had been a couple days or weeks since the kids heard their parents shout and fight with each other every night. At some nights, they would hear them break plates and glasses from inside their bedroom that they shared.   They heard their mom and dad shout at each other, so loud that it scared Hyuna. The parents fight got even worse by each day.   "Oppa...." Hyuna was scared.    Sunggyu came to her side and pulled her into a hug.   "Oppa's here. Don't be scared!" Sunggyu told her. "It will be over soon."   But it wasn't getting over soon. The noises their parents made only got louder and it felt like the whole house was shaking. Hyuna trembled in her brother's arm and she started crying even though she didn't understand what was going on. Which kid wouldn't when they heard their parents fight big like this?   "I don't care anymore, Jongwoon-ah!" Hyuna heard her mother yell. Her voice was coming closer. "I'm taking the kids with me. You can take your mistress and her child in here for all I care."   A second later, her mother was already inside their bedroom. She saw her mother in tears. Her face looked like she was just beaten.   "M-Mommy..." Hyuna cried as her mom hugged her. "Mommy, what's wrong?"   "We're leaving, honey. Let's go pack your stuff!" Her mom said nicely then she turned at Sunggyu, "Sunggyu, go get ready now!"   "Wh-where are we going, mommy?" Hyuna asked her mother with tears on her face.   Her mom didn't answer, she said instead, "Let's go! Mommy will help you."   Just as they finished packing stuffs, a loud punch could be heard by the door. Her dad just punched the door hard. "You're not going anywhere with my kids!"   Hyuna's mother stood facing her dad bravely. "They are MY kids. You can have the house, car, company, and everything else, but I'm taking my kids."   "Don't you dare!" Her dad threatened.      **     Hyuna was at the dining table with her mom and brother. She was focused in her drawing book, drawing mountain as if she had forgotten the fight their parents had a couple days ago.   It was like that every time. Her parents fought. Her mom threatened to leave, but still stayed in the end.   Her focus was broken when she heard noises from the front door. She knew it was her dad and she quickly went towards the front door to greet her dad.
"Daddyyyyyyy...." She said excitedly and wanted to hug her dad when she saw her dad came in arm and arm with a lady.   "Hyyuna honey, what are you doing here?" Her dad asked. "Go inside find your mom!"   "Daddy, who is this auntie?" Hyuna asked innocently.   The lady laughed at her. The laugh that always haunted her. "Hi there Hyuna, I'm your daddy's secretary."     Hyuna woke up abruptly from her sleep. She was panting and crying. The nightmare seemed to come hunting her once in a while and she hated it. She started sobbing. There was a throbbing pain inside her chest, she missed her mother, her only family she grew up with.    She wiped her tears gently. She looked at the clock and it read 2 AM. She knew she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep easily.   She remembered the days her parents would always fight. She remembered the day her dad brought his secretary home. She didn't know it back then because she was very young.   But now she knew. Her dad had been having an affair with his secretary back then and he ended up marrying her as soon as he divorced Hyuna's mother.    Son Hyejin.   Hyuna resented this woman as well as her own father. Just before Hyuna moved to Seoul, Hyuna had to do a lot of packing since she was going to leave the farmhouse for a while. She didn't want to sell her house. She decided to keep the house because that was the only thing that reminded her of her mother.   She remembered finding her mother's belongings that was intentionally kept hidden. There were photos of her father and Hyejin that were secretly taken. What was most important, Hyuna found her diary.   As she went through the diary, Hyuna learned that her mother knew all along that her father was cheating on her mother, with his secretary. Her mother had kept it all to herself for the sake of Sunggyu and her. Her mother started noticing the change in her husband's behavior and they started fighting...every week, until it became every night.    Hyuna's mother also mentioned a couple times about how Hyejin would come and confront her about their relationship, as if Hyuna's mother was the third person.   It was unfair for her mother....   Everything, the house, car, company originally belonged to her mother. Her mother inherited it from her parents because she was an only child. She got married to Hyuna's father and let him take care of the business and everything. But when they were divorced, he took everything. Luckily, Hyuna's mother had a little bit of money from trust fund that her father couldn't touch and she used that money to buy the farmhouse and to take care of Hyuna.   Hyuna wiped the tears in her eyes remembering the hardship her mother had gone through. Even until the day she died, she still loved her father....       At breakfast that morning, Hyuna was quiet as usual. Everyone was at the table. Hyuna's dad was having his usual morning coffee while waiting for the maids to serve breakfast.   "We're having a guest tonight. You guys have to be home before 6, no excuse." The old guy reminded.   "Who's coming, dad?" Sunggyu asked curiously. "Is it L again?"    Hyuna could swear she saw the light in Naeun's eyes when she heard Sunggyu mention this L name. Whoever that was...   His dad said firmly, "Yes, Myungsoo will be coming with his father. It's just the usual dinner, business talk and stuff."   Hyuna quietly ate her hashbrown and eggs as soon as the maid served it in front of her.   "What should I cook?" Hyuna's step-mom asked. "I cooked turkey the last time they came. They seemed to really enjoy it, but I wouldn't want to make
