Chapter 12
As Time Goes By
“One chocolate ice cream please,” Taeyeon smiled.
“Chocolate ice cream for me,” a voice said.
“Omo! Leeteuk again?” Taeyeon thought while staring at the figure.
“Thank you,” he smiled to the waitress.
“That’s him, I can tell by the dimple,” Taeyeon said.
“Here’s your ice cream,” the waitress gave it to her.
“Taeyeon!” Leeteuk smiled and walked to her. “We meet again,”
“Yeah, what are you doing here?” Taeyeon asked.
“Vacation,” Leeteuk replied.
“I mean at this pool. There are millions of other pools.” Taeyeon said.
“I like this one. Ice cream is the best,” Leeteuk smiled.
“You’re not hanging out with Yuri?” Taeyeon asked.
“Bwoh? There’s nothing between Yuri and I,” Leeteuk replied quickly.
“Okay, well I’m going to go now,” Taeyeon waved.
“Wait!” Leeteuk grabbed her wrist.
“Yes?” Taeyeon replied.
“Let’s hang out at the pool together,” Leeteuk smiled.
“You’re asking me?” Taeyeon asked.
“Please, I’ll buy you ice cream every week,” Leeteuk said.
“Okay, let’s go,” Taeyeon exclaimed.
“Where is it?” Donghae asked.
“It should be around here somewhere,” Jessica pointed.
“Are we canoeing in the beach?” Donghae asked.
“Of course? Where else? In the pool?” Jessica laughed.
“But the waves!!” Donghae screamed.
“The part without a lot of waves,” Jessica giggled.
“Okay, good,” Donghae nodded.
“Why? Do you know how to swim?” Jessica asked.
“Of course, I do,” Donghae stuck his tongue out.
“Okay good because I don’t swim that good and if I drown, it’s your fault,” Jessica poked him in the chest.
“Okay! Hurry! What if the line gets long all of a sudden!?” Donghae screamed.
“No one’s there,” Jessica laughed.
“Whatever, you know what I mean,” Donghae said and the two grabbed a life jacket.
“How do you put this on?” Jessica asked.
“Let me help you,” Donghae replied and helped her button the life jacket.
“Thank you,” Jessica smiled.
“It’s nothing,” Donghae blushed. “Let’s go,”
“Horsey, horsey! Horsey!” Sunny skipped.
“Those kids are staring at you!” Sungmin pointed.
“So?” Sunny asked.
“It’s embarrassing!” Sungmin yelled.
“You’re too…I won’t say it,” Sunny kept walking.
“I’m too what?” Sungmin asked.
“If I say it you will be mad,” Sunny said.
“Just say it!” Sungmin replied.
“You get too angry easily. You’re no fun! And you should be more like Kyuhyun!” Sunny shouted.
“Kyuhyun? Me act like Kyuhyun?! The kid is evil!!” Sungmin yelled.
“But he’s nice to Seohyun and me,” Sunny looked away. “You’re so nice to Seohyun but mean to me,”
“You’re jealous,” Sungmin smiled.
“I’m not jealous, I don’t want to be with you,” Sunny said.
“You invited me,” Sungmin replied.
“That doesn’t mean anything,” Sunny told him.
“It means…You like me,” Sungmin whispered in her ear and ran off.
“Y-Yah!” Sunny started to blush. “L-Lee Sungmin! Get back here!” she ran after him.
“I don’t even have a surf board,” Tiffany said.
“That’s why we’re going to go buy one now,” Siwon replied.
“Really?” Tiffany clapped.
“Right here,” Siwon pointed to the surf shop.
“We can rent one, they’re really expensive,” Tiffany said.
