CHAPTER TWENTY ONE - THE QUARREL
#04 - SARANGHAE
I was awakened by a loud knock on the door.
" Woman! Woman! Wake up - " Nikki shouted, banging hard on the door
I stood up and headed for the door " The house better be on fire " I sacarstically replied when i opened the door
" You're gonna be late for school! " She warned, mother way
I blinked my eyes a couple of times, oh right school!
" Are you okay ? " She worriedly ask
" Er yeah, i'm very cold. That's all " I tugged my ultra think comforter tighter
She felt my forehead and immediately went pale.
" Babe, you're feverish! GOSH, what happened to you !? " She immediately pulled me back onto the bed
" I am fine, don't worry " I said as i attempted to get up
" No, you're staying in today! " She warned
I rolled my eyes and sigh, " fine umma " I laughed
" I'll go get you some medicine " She made her way to the kitchen
I'm pouting real hard like a kid, in my bed. I DON'T WANT MEDICINE!!! I screamed mentally. Sigh, whatever. I started to think of the tragedy yesterday. Sigh, i wonder what will happen next.
" Here's your medicine! " She sang as she brought in some bread
" I haven't brushed my teeth yet " I made a disgusted face
" It's okay, just eat this and continue sleeping! " She warned with a serious face
- Few minutes later -
Nikki
After feeding that little baby her medicine to make her sleep. I went out of the house to see all of them waiting for me at the elevator lobby.
" Where's krystine ? " Key umma was the first to spoke up
" Oh, she's sick " I simply informed
" Hey baby! Slept well ? " Jonghyun kissed me on my forehead, doing the usual morning routine
I nodded and smiled.
" How is she ? " Onew oppa asked concernly
" I guess she's fine, but she's running a high fever " I informed worriedly
Taemin cutely pouted.
" Why does krystine noona keep falling sick ? "
" Taemin ah, i guess it's because she doesn't take care of herself well ? " I patted his head
" I'm going to look after her " Key umma firmly said
" That pabo really is a pabo! " He continued and headed for my apartment
I smiled secretly to jonghyun who knew about the advantages of krystine falling sick now. Sigh, key umma likes krystine but is too egoistic to realize, how huge can his ego be !? We made our way to school and arrive within a swift time of 25 minutes.
As there was still 15 minutes time left to spare, we headed to the special room after bidding goodbye to onew oppa. Jonghyun oppa and i was holding each other's hands ... i like the moment like this and i'm glad that he 's not known as SHINee's kim jonghyun.
We were walking hand in hand untill we arrived the doorstep of the special room. I immediately let go of his hands when we realized that FT island was there too.
" Hello! " Jonghyun oppa waved
" Hello jonghoon oppa, hello minhwan, hello seunghyun! " I smiled as i waved at them
Everyone of us settled down in the sofa, i was sitting with seunghyun who were engaging in playing his I-touch game.
" wanna play ? " He offered
I looked around and saw jonghyun who were chatting with jonghoon oppa and the rest.
" sure! " I accepted his offer
" Move to the right - right - right ... "
" Ah! I can't turn ... i can't turn "
" No! not to the left, right! "
" Oh oh !! I'm stucked ... "
- Few minutes later -
" Class is starting, move your asses now! " Jonghoon oppa warned
I walked beside jonghyun oppa, when nobody was looking, i whisperered in his ears.
" Are you okay, baby ? " I smiled at him lovingly
" Yeah i'm fine " He let out a slight smile
Key
Once entering the apartment, i charged towards her room. I was relieved to see that pig still asleep, she isn't that fat to begin with actually. I was just teasing, i really didn't know she'll take it that hard. Sigh, pabo is a pabo aftrall !
Anyways, i made my way out, left my stuff on the couch and started cooking porridge.
Do i really like her afterall ?
I mean, she's cute and funny when she isn't bickering with me. Sometimes, when she lost in a debate and she ended up pouting or huffing and puffing, it makes me smile a little inside.
But.
what if i treated her as a friend and mistook that for love ? The both of us will suffer otherwise and i certainly do not want that.
" ! I almost forgot to add in her favourite meat inside "
I went to the fridge to grab some meat. Just then, i heard some loud mutterings coming from krystine's room. I immediately drop the meat down and dashed in her room.
" I know i don't deserve key, he's so gorgeous and perfect ... " she muttered in her sleep
" Shhh.. you're not. Nobody deserves key except you " I shushed her and patted her gently back to sleep
sigh, i must have hurt her too much. I went out of the room to continue cooking lunch for her. After i was done, i sat down on the couch and thought for a very long time.
If i don't have any feelings for her, i wouldn't be pissed at her for returning home late and at her for suffering that anorexic disease right ? That means, she held a special position in my heart. But then again, it's like i'll get angry at anyone who does that so long they're my friend.
After the long thoughts, i went to scoop a bowl of porridge and left it in her bedroom table.
Eat it well and stop being so stupid!

I wrote the note and left the house, back to mine.
Jonghyun
We are having lunch break now. Sigh, how i wish i can tell the whole world that the both of us are dating ! It's funny how we can walk holding hands with each other and go unnotice by the rest yet so afraid of letting the rest of FT islanders know.
" Noona, have some of mine! " Seunghyun gave nikki his bulggogi
" Er-oh, thank you " She smiled
" Excuse me, i'm not hungry " I excused myself and headed out
Anger boiled within me, i know it wasn't their fault but i can't help but to feel jealous and insecure. Seunghyun has no with nikki and spends at least 6 hours a day in classs with her. I sat on exactly the same spot , the bench that nikki sat when she found out that we were SHINee.
I laughed as i thought of those days but sigh when i remembered seunghyun. I can't possibly go up to them and tell hm to get lost. For one, i know that nikki wouldn't like it AT ALL. She's way too nice.
" Baby, are you alright ? " I heard niiki's loving voice
" Yeah i am " I pursed my lips
The both of us fell silent afterwards.
" Baby, could you steer away from seunghyun ? I'm not comfortable seeing the both of you so close together " I bit my lips
" Baby, we're just friends and you know that right ? " She smiled comfortingly
" Yes but he doesn't know " I turned around to face her
" Baby please, he's your friend " She sighed
" Precisely he's my friend, i love you and you know that. All i'm asking you is to stay away from him! "
" Stop being so unreasonable please ... "
" Me ? Unreasonable, i wouldn't be if you're so close to him! "
The both of us were starting to raise our voices.
" & he's your bias too right ? " i continued
" Yes, he WAS my bias till i met all of you guys! At least he didn't lie to the both of us! " She stood up
" Suenghyun and i are just friends, believe it or not.. up to you " She stomped off
Unable to stand the whole situation, i got up and made my way to class. I took my bag and left the school, wanting to head home.
- 1 hour later -
I arrived home to see key sitting down in his bed, in deep thoughts.
" Why are you back home so early ? " He snapped out of his toughts when he noticed me
" I -er, had a quarrel with nikki " I sigh, unable to control i let my tears roll down
" Don't worry, it's not a bad thing to let out once in awhile, besides i'm sure she understands that you both quarreled because you love her too much " He gave me a hug
The both of us let go and i gave him a smile.
" Thanks a lot, i needed that " I thanked him
" What's JONGKEY for, anyways ? " He laughed
I made my way and hit the cold shower. I wanted to wash all the nasty thoughts off, it was seriously haunting me. The images of the both of them laughing and smilling so happily are seriously driving my crazy.
Jonghyun & nikki finally quarrelled :(
Sigh, hope you sitll love this!
