CHAPTER TWENTY - KEY : THIS IS THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE CONFESSED TO ME BY SHOUTING
#04 - SARANGHAE
I stood up trying to register what had happened few seconds ago.
This is the first time someone confessed to me by shouting. Aish, what the hell am i thinking !? Decided to let her go and cool down first, i walked back to the restaurant.
" Sweetie... " I sat on krystine's place
" Huh yeah ? " She answered me, putting down her chopsticks
" Can i talk to you for a min ? " I pursed my lips
She looked at jonghyun who nodded instinctively & we made our way outside.
" Yes umma ? " The both of us sat down
" Krystine.. she likes me ? " I shyly queried
" Huh ? She told you ? "
I decided to tell her what happened.
" Don't worry umma, i'm sure she's back at the apartment. I'll check on her again, but do you like her?
Her question got me real good, i really didn't know what to answer. I don't hate her nor bear any hatred and i'm really not sure whether do i like her or not. Everything came so fast, her confession was a real shocker not to mention that SHE WAS SHOUTING THE CONFESSION to me. Pfft, so not romantic.
" I-m, not s-ure myself. Everything came so sudden " I looked to the floors
" It's okay just promise me that you won't hurt her alright ? " She held onto my shoulders
" Pabo! Of course i won't " I gave her an assuring smile
The both of us went back to the restaurant.
" Finally you guys are done eating! " I exclaimed to all of them who were full
" The food 's here is so damn good! " Jonghoon hyung gave a thumbs up
" Of course, its me..the almighty key who recommended it " I smirked

Time : 8.05 PM
Babe, i'm not coming home tonight.
Sigh, i really wonder if she's okay. But all these years with her, i knew that she doesn't want people to see her sheding tears. I guess, she must have found her way to the beach. The only calming place for her to be at.
I told jonghyun about what happened and showed him the text. As we were making our way to our respective vehicles to head home, i showed key umma the text too.
" You mean she'll be at the nearest beach ? " He raised his eyebrows
" Most likely " I smiled
" Should i go look for her ? " Key umma asked
" Follow your heart, umma. That's what you taught me " I smiled widely
All of us went in after bidding goodbyes to the FT islanders. Seunghyun gave me a hug before hopping into his car.
" Baby, are you okay ? " I noticed something was wrong with jonghyun oppa since noon
" Yeah i am " He plastered a smile
Not wanting to say anything further, i looked out of the windows. Is he mad at something, he's being unsually him. The road to home was extremely long especially when jjong wasn't in the mood to talk, neither krystine was here. Sigh, i wonder how is she.
Key
I was sitting in the passenger seat , thinking of that girl. I just don't know where is she. I just hope that she'll be okay.
" What are you thinking ? " Onew broke my trail of thoughts
" Uh- nothing " I smiled
Finally, we arrived home.
" Baby, sleep here tonight ? " Jonghyun hyung suggested
" Sure! " Nikki cheered, smiling
- Few hours later -
Jonghyun
" Sleep well, princess! " I kissed nikki on her forehead
" Baby, are you alright ? You seemed listless for the whole day.. " She cutely pouted
" I'm sorry baby, i was just tired " I smiled
" Go get more rest k? " She gave me a hug
I nodded and went out of the room.
" Hyung! " Just as i was about to enter my room, key tugged and pulled me into his
" Yes yeobo ? " I sat down on his bed
" Er-m ... " He started
" You wanna know about krystine ? " I wriggled my eyebrows playfully
He nodded furiously.
" Nikki said not to worry since it's not the first time and most slightly, she won't wanna see anybody and that includes her " I firmly said
" Don't worry too much k ? " I continued, seeing his worried look
" Wha- who said that i'm worried ? I'm just curious and curiousity is different from worried k hyung ? Wait, i know you're upset about seunghyun today right ? " He swftly changed the subject
Aish this guy, seriously has too much ego.
" Who wouldn't be if the girlfriend is this sweet, nice and beautiful ? " I heave a sigh
" True, my daughter is perfectly carved " He laughed
" Anyways, i think you should really have a good talk with her before seunghyun does something. Because i have a feeling that he might confess soon "
My eyes widened as he continued.
" Chincha !? Did he mention anything to you ? " I shook his shoulders hard
" Calm down! & shush .. he didn't say anything but his actions proved it! " I let him go
" Ohok " was all i could say
" Alright, i need to put on my mask and go to bed. You go to bed soon too! " He left for the toilet
Krystine
After running what seemed miles away, i spotted a nice cooling beach and sat there. Remembering nikki, i texted her to inform her about my whereabouts.
I brought my knees to my face and sobbed. Each sobbing got louder as the sounds of the waves hit the shores. The beach is a nice place to cry only when you are able to pretend that the waves are crying along with you. After a few hours of good crying, i decided to go home.
I bet nikki must be over at jonghyun oppa's place. Sigh, why am i so reckless to even confess to key !? As i was walking, it suddenly rained. THANKYOU FOR ADDING SUCH A NICE SCENE TO MY MISERY. Already soaked through, i decided to stroll along the sidewalk.
Every step i took, i thought of key's priceless expression & soon i arrived home. I changed out of my clothes and went to bed, sobbing again.
