"Why did you run away from here?" Jonghyun asked slyly into his phone as soon as he knew she had picked up the call from the other end. He had just gotten off soccer practice and made his way to his phone without a moment to waste. But he had just watched her small frame disappear from the field when she quickly turned and ran off from the spot she had just been behind the bleachers. She must've thought he hadn't noticed. That he had been paying too much attention during practice to notice she was there. "I wasn't there to see you!" She argued, clearly flustered by the fact that he hand in fact caught her. She knew as soon as she received his call. He was unconvinced, and smiled as he pictured how cute she must looked all angry and embarrassed at the fact that she got caught by him. "I'm sure. Where are you now?" "I'm at Johnny's." "Alright, well stay there," He started grabbing his things and waving after some of his teammates who were waving at him as they walked passed. "I'm on my way." He could hear her give a little huff before she responded. "Fine." Jonghyun has always liked Min. That was a fact that was plain as day. But while he was a jock, she was a bookworm. People always thought it was strange of him to have a crush on a girl like her, but Jonghyun was very persistent, and made it very clear despite Min rejecting his advances. For the longest time she was stubborn about it, often denying his feelings and denying her own. But the two were eventually assigned to be lab partners and that's where they exchanged numbers and grew closer as friends. Despite denying her attraction for the guy, Min would often get caught trying to secretly attend one of his practices and even his games. But he would always catch her. Because wherever Min was, his eyes were always automatically set on her. Like some kind of tracking device, he just knew. And yet she was still trying to convince him, and herself, that she didn't have any feelings. "Did you miss me?" He asked as he set his things down and took a seat on the chair across from her. He had found Min eating alone at one of the outside tables in front of a local diner called 'Johnny's'. Min didn't spare a glance his way as she continued to look through the book in front of her, resulting in him taking a moment to just stare at her, studying the way she pouted her lips whenever she was in deep thought about something. She puffed up her cheeks
