The harsh winter nights of Seoul were something Lay had yet to really grow accustomed to, in fact he still found it somewhat inconvenient. But he couldn't bring himself from not doing what he usually did after evening dance classes. He exhaled into the palm of his hands, providing warmth as he waited for the city bus to arrive.    After a few short moments, the bus pulled up and he rushed inside, happy that there wasn't anyone else around and that he was finally out of the cold. Swiping his bus card, Lay headed to the back nearest one of the doors and rested his head against the window, watching as the city lights passed. It had been five years since his move to the city and in those five years he developed a kind of tradition to head over to the Han River after class. And that tradition involved him first heading toward the convenience store nearest the river to grab some banana milk and a bag of steamed buns. He smiled as he thought of why he had to, and that reminder was what always allowed him to forget his dislike for the cold as he put his purple Beats by Dre headphones around his neck. The familiar feeling of excitement started building up in the pit of his stomach, similar to butterflies and he was growing anxious as they got closer to his destination.    The bus came to a slow stop and he headed out upon the doors opening. Huddling close to his hooded jacket, he made his way toward the convenience store where he always went to.   "Hey. You're early," The store owner behind the counter greeted him with a smile upon seeing Lay enter the store. He was an older gentleman, both kind and considerate, even going as far as recognizing him as a regular customer just a few days after he started frequenting the store.   "Yeah. Class ended early," Lay explained before going into the last aisle where he would pick up at four little cartons of banana milk. He stood in front of the freezer and opened the glass door, leaning down to grab the milks and then head back to the counter.  "Four steamed buns, please."   "As usual, of course," The man chuckled as he rang him up and handed Lay the brown paper bag to fill up with freshly made steamed buns from the appliance beside him. "And your friend?"   "Probably waiting for me," Lay smiled. He closed the bag up and waved at the man. "See you tomorrow."   "See you."   He shivered upon feeling the cold against his skin once again and bundled up. He placed the two paper bags in his duffel bag and zipped it back up before he looked both ways and crossed the street toward the river bank.   For Lay, the Han river held a lot of significance for him; A place filled of his now most precious memories. It was the first thing he wanted to see upon arriving to Seoul and it was what allowed him to meet the most unexpected yet most important person in his life. Again, he could feel his cheeks flush at the thought. But his thoughts were interrupted when he felt someone sneaking their hand into his bag.   "Yah!" He yelled at the perpetrator who stood behind him with their large eyes wide in surprise before furrowing in annoyance.   "My banana milk," She said with a cute pout, making Lay gulp subconsciously at the sight before composing the urge to squeeze her adorable cheeks.   The girl was small in height, even smaller than him which always made Lay feel happier in her presence, since he was usually the short one around everyone else. She had short dark red hair that framed her face perfectly and beautiful pouty lips which always caught his attention even when he never meant to. He watched her closely as she kept her gaze on him. She was always so stubborn and almost childlike in nature. In the five years he knew her, it was the first thing he noticed about her a week into their friendship.   "Seriously?" He arched a brow. "You can't wait five seconds? Is this all you care about?" He asked as he shook his bag lightly to indicate what he was referring to with her hand still in it.   But she was persistent. "Are you going to give it to me?"   And so was he. "Are you going to answer my questions?"   She gave an annoyed sigh and retracted her hand before she moved to sit on the nearby wooden bench. "No. It's not all I care about." He could've sworn he felt his heart skip a beat and his breathing quicken when she said that. Anticipating to find out that maybe she looks forward to seeing him as much as he looks forward to seeing her. She looked at him and grinned.  "I want my steamed bun too." But of course, it was a farfetched idea to begin with.   "Yah! Lee Minyoung!" He frowned and she laughed her perfectly beautiful and contagious laugh and Lay could already feel the way she managed to extinguish the fire in his roar. He watched her for a moment, mesmerized as he enjoyed the way she looked when she smiled and how her laugh was like a beautiful symphony in his ears.   Min was the source of all excitement and energy in Lay's dull life. An irresistible and powerful personality which overcompensated for he small figure. Without saying a single word, Min was the type to demand attention from even the simple things she did, like walking into a room.       ----------- ♦ ----------       "Yixing? Is that correct?" Said a guy with dark brown hair as he approached Lay. He had high cheeks bones and the corner of his lips were one of his most dominant features. He easily reminded Lay of the Joker in that aspect.   It was three years prior, and Lay had just gotten to the dance studio of the university he was attending; The first class of the semester. He hadn't expected for anyone to approach him so soon, to be honest, but there he was, and in truth he felt relieved. He was never good at making friends right off the bat. He was straightforward about a lot of things upon getting to know him, but being friendly with random strangers always put him off and he would always come off timid. It also didn't help that he was in a brand new country and still barely learning the language.   "Yeah," Ley replied as he extended his hand towards the other. "But you can just call me Lay if it makes it easier for you."   "No problem," The friendly male said as he shook Lay's hand. "I'm Jongdae, but my friends call me Chen." He then turned to motion at the three who were coming up behind him. "And these three here are Luhan, Minseok and Tao."   "Luhan and Tao are both Chinese, too," Minseok, the small one with puffy cheeks like a hamster, explained as he nodded toward them.   Apparently, word had gotten around about Lay's transfer, especially since he was a first year student transfering in the middle of the term. A lot of the people there had already developed their place in the school and there Lay was just entering.   But he couldn't help but smile at this new found and comforting piece of  information that he had just been provided with. "Oh, that's awesome. I feel better now."   The four boys laughed and it didn't take long for Lay and them to hit if off. He was thankful he had taken the time to learn as much Korean as he did before moving there. As broken as it was, he had to communicate, and he managed it pretty well.   Chen and Minseok, who they had nicknamed Xiumin, surprised Lay the most when they started speaking to him in Mandarin. They had been learning from Tao and Luhan, and the two of them explained that it was hard for them too when they both moved to Korea when the both of them were in high school. Luckily, they met Chen and Xiumin and eventually got the hang of Seoul living.   It was almost time for class when his eyes were immediately directed to the door at the front of the room. His breath hitched and he watched as the small figure made her way into the room, garnering stares from almost every man present. She had this aura about her, one that could attracted you at first sight, just like she had Lay. And as she made her way to the back of the room, He was able to get a better look.   She had long wavy black hair back then reaching just below the center of her back. And from the way her clothes clung loosely against her body, like the open-side t-shirt that exposed her black sports bra underneath and grey harem sweat pants, it was obvious that she had a great little body to match her beautiful face.   "Who is she?" Lay asked, referring to the girl as he watched her with focused eyes.    The four boys followed his gaze and spotted who it was he was talking about, turning back to him will all-knowing grins.   "Oh, her?" Chen began first. "That's Min."   "Would make sense you would be attracted to her," Luhan then began as he splayed his legs out in front of him as they sat in a circle on the wooden dance floor.   Lay cocked a brow and looked at him. "What makes you say that?"   "She the resident campus dance goddess," Tao explained. "She's better than a lot of the guys here."   Lay then looked back at the tiny figure, his brows knitted together as he tried to imagine it. "No way."   Xiumin laughed. "Yup."   "But what makes her so attractive is how cool she is,"  Chen then said, sparking Lay's interest further.   It didn't take long for Lay to get a better understanding of the curious girl named Min. As soon as class started, the instructor had her go over some new choreography, and when he saw the way she moved, he understood why she was known as the campus dance goddess. What the guys had said was not an exaggeration.    The fluidity in her waves and sharpness in her popping and locking, proved to be far superior than even my own. Her isolations were flawless and as she transitioned from step to step it was evident that the true dancer in her incorporated her own steps in between to fill in the wholes left in the choreography. She knew how to dance and she made every move her own, yet still managed to make it look clean. This girl wasn't just a dancer, she was a prodigy, and the more Lay watched, the more he was aware of this. And for a brief moment, when he was able to snap out of it, he noticed that everyone in the room, including himself, was enchanted by her.   "So you're the new guy?" She said with a smile after clas
