Dear Santa, 

Hi! My name is Park Jira. I don't know if you're real or not. My mom says you are. She told me, you're the one who brings my presents that I get on Christmas morning. I want to believe her but my cousin Haru says you're not real. Our parents buys us the presents. I thought I'll try to write to you this year.

I don't know if you know ahead of time or not but we're moving to Seoul, South Korea in a few weeks. You'll know where to find me right? My mom hasn't told me our new address yet. We are moving there because mom got a new job. She told me I was born there but I don't remember it because we moved to Texas when I was a baby. I overheard my aunt say that my dad lives there.

I don't really know how writing letters to you works. But this Christmas, I don't need new toys or gifts. My only wish this Christmas is to see my dad. I don't know what happened between him and my mom but I just want to see him or meet him just once. Can you help me? 

"Park Jira, where are you? Come here this instant or we're gonna be late for that dinner at your Aunt Bommie's!"

"I'm coming!"

Uh oh..Sorry Santa, gotta go. My mom's calling me. Hope you get this e-mail soon. Bye.
