It was an awkward silence between Kris and Tao. They had been sitting for ten minutes across each other as they waited for their orders to come.

"This wasn't a date. I knew it..", Tao started

"What are you saying.."

Tao face Kris and said, "This wasn't a date.. that's what you gonna tell me right??"

Kris furrowed his brows 'whats wrong with this kid?'

"Yes, that's right.. this is just a dinner.. nothing more nothing less", he replied nonetheless

Tao nodded and hummed and Kris wondered what was going on with the younger man's mind

They eat in silence when their order arrived. Tao was focusing on his dessert when he heard Kris coughed and he tilted his head when Kris looked like he was about to say something to him

The older man sent him death glares. Tao tensed a little. Did he go overboard? No not a little bit.
