Kris was not used to stay up late but today was an exception as he drunk himself to death since he was being drown by some events that still haunt him until now

"Kris you should stop drinking.. you're drunk already", Lay said as he watched his friend own miseries

He sighed as he gulped his drink in one go, "Let me be, Lay.. i just want to forget.. everything.. even for a while"

How long it have been? 12 months? A year? He actually lost his sense of time ever since that day. The day he lost Zitao. Completely

Flashback

It has been 2 weeks since Tao confessed to him and walked away from him. Kris sighed as he contemplated whether to call the younger guy and tell him he was sorry, that he didn't mean everything he said to him. But he is Kris Wu. His ing pride goes on the way. And he doesnt know if Tao was really serious with the things he said last time.

"I give up. You will never see me again. You will never like me back right? So fine. You want me to stop right? Then I'll stop. Sorry if I bother you. Sorry if for the past months I keep on annoying you. That will not happen anymore."

Kris heart clenched as he remembered he hurt look on the younger guy face. All he wanted to do that time was to wipe off  that look and tell him he liked him too. Tell him he never bother him. But he didn't

"Just one favor, if ever one day we'll cross path by any chance, please act like you don't know me. Let just forget everything. Just forget that you met someone named, Huang Zitao. I wish for you to be happy."

How could he forget? Everything happen between the two of them was so special to him. He just failed to let the younger man know. Since he doesn't want to even admit it to himself

Kris sighed and get his phone. He liked Tao. He really do. He doesn't know how he should do this but all he knew was that he doesn't want to hurt Tao anymore

"Mr. Chan, can you get Huang Zitao schedule for this day?", he ordered as he called his personal secretary

The line went quiet as Mr. Chan searched for Tao's schedule

"Mr. Huang Zitao seems to have a flight today. He is going to California, USA and it seems that it wasnt just a vacation. His record shows he is planning to stay there for year or more"

Kris heart stopped. 'California? He's leaving?'

"Are you sure? Why would he do that?? And he still need to attend to university. Why in the hell he is planning to stay in California??", he asked as he clutched the phone tighter

"It seems that everything is settled 3 days ago. He quit Seoul International University and probably transferred into California University despite his record doesnt shows it."

His heart clench tightly. He need to go after him. He couldn't leave him like that. He will not allowed Tao to leave him hanging like that

"What is the time of his flight?"

"Incheon to California. 11:00 am."

Kris glanced at his clock. 10:30 am. He stood up and dashed out the door. Determined to make Tao stayed because he can't let the other man leave him behind. He would say his sorry. Damn him and his pride. He would even beg for his forgiveness if it's necessary. He would do everything to wins him back. He was going to took out every things he said to Zitao. The damage has been done, he knew that. But he would still do everything to make everything's right

'Tao please be there. I can't lose you. Not now' was Kris thoughts as he speeds up. He glanced at his wrist watch and it showed 10:50 am. . He never hated traffic as he hated it now. He wanted to crash all the cars that gets on his way. He plan to get his chopper and search for a possible landing area but none. luck left him today. As every seconds goes, he started to get nervous and his chest tighten more than ever

'Please be there. Please be there'

He dashed out of his car and basically run inside the airport despite securities prevent him. But no one can stop him. Not now when it involves Tao. He run towards the customer service and asked, "Incheon to California. Flight 365. Does it take off already?"

The lady looked at him and his heart fell as he heard her say this, "Yes. About a minute ago"
