Myungsoo stayed in the cafe longer than he had intended, not realizing it himself only when Gyuri started whining and complaining why they were just sitting there with empty glasses for almost an hour already. That unknown man was still there, smiling as he watched Sungjong did his job. When was that pedo bear going to leave?! Myungsoo cursed as he gave in to his girlfriend's complaints and the duo left the cafe.
 

Wait... Why did he care anyway? Who cares about the people Sungjong hanged out with? That boy can be with anyone he wants as long as he did not break the contract. Myungsoo drilled himself with his own reprimands. He should enjoy the date he was having now with his girlfriend instead of brooding over that stupid nerd.
 

Oh, how naive you are, Kim Myungsoo. A little voice in Myungsoo's head spoke.
 

Sungjong breathed a sigh of relief when the couple finally left. Man did they take long just drinking a couple for drinks! Sungyeol had told Sungjong that he was really bored and wanted to hang around the cafe, so Sungjong was fine with the boy staring at him. But boy, he could swear Myungsoo had been looking at him as well. And it somehow made Sungjong feel really uncomfortable.
 

Why are you so affected by that stupid kingka, Lee Sungjong!? Sungjong mentally slapped himself, only to end up really slapping himself on the cheek literally, and earned a couple of weird stares from the couple whom he had just served them their food.
 

"ARGH!!! HE'S DRIVING ME INSANE!!!" both boys shouted in their heads, not knowing the other was having the exact same thoughts as well.
 

Sungyeol finally left about an hour before Sungjong's shift ended as the senior had to head off to meet up with his friends regarding a school project. Sungjong yawned and stretched after a long tiring day at work, and started sweeping up the cafe while the Chunjoe couple were in the kitchen washing the dishes, under the close supervision of C.A.P to ensure the two boys wouldn't start making out suddenly during their chore.
 

As Sungjong waved goodbye to his boss who had finally finished locking up the shop, he strolled along the dark street, shivering slightly as he felt the cool wind blow against him.
 

"Yah." A voice spoke from out of nowhere, making Sungjong spring into defend posture, his bag held in front of him as he stared around frantically. A figure that had been leaning against the wall opposite Sungjong started walking towards him, and as he passed by a lamp post, the light revealed the stranger's face. Sungjong rolled his eyes in irritation.

 

Kim Myungsoo.
 

"You scared the hell out of me!!" Sungjong snarled as he stalked pass the kingka and continued his stroll back to his house. Correction, Myungsoo's house.
 

"Haha, I could clearly see that." L replied casually as he followed behind. Throwing the jacket he had slung over his shoulders towards the shorter boy, the jacket's hood landing perfectly on the boy's head. As Sungjong turned back and stared in confusion, the kingka could only looked back in annoyance.
 

"You left your jacket at home this morning, pabo. Myungsoo fastened his pace and walked ahead of Sungjong. But he didn't miss the soft yet sincere "Thank you" that escaped the other's lips. Myungsoo grinned unknowingly as the duo walked home in the night.
 

Sungjong thought that other than his living place, nothing else would be affected by the signing of the fake marriage contract with Myungsoo. School life would remain the same like always, being the wallflower and just paying attention in class.
 

But how wrong was he.
 

Sungjong started to feel uncomfortable with the intense stares, and even glares, from the students as he walked along the hallway the next day in school.  Why were they all staring at him? Was there something on his face or another piece of paper stuck onto his back by the pranksters in his class again? But it was neither, as Sungjong looked at his face in the mirror in his locker and had took of his school jacket to check before heading off to class.
 

For the first time in his life, Sungjong couldn't concentrate in class. He couldn't help but notice even his classmates were staring at him and whispering to one another. Suddenly, he managed to catch a few words spoken by the girl that sat in front of him in class.
 

"I can't believe Myungsoo is actually engaged to Sungjong. His father sure has bad taste in arranging a marriage between them. Or perhaps Sungjong's parents were the ones who forced the marriage instead!" Her friend gasped, and Sungjong's jaw dropped.
 

How did they find out??
 

Sungjong looked over at Myungsoo, who seemed oblivious to the rumors spreading around. That means it couldn't have been him who spread the news on the arranged marriage. Sungjong scratched his head in frustration.
 

L yawned as he stared back into the class after looking out of the window for almost half the lesson. Hs classmates were staring at him, like usual. But their expressions seemed off. Myungsoo glanced around the room, his eyes landing on Sungjong who was busy ruffling his own hair cutely. The kingka couldn't help but grinned. What's up with him?
 

"Did you see that?!" a boy whispered, "Kim Myungsoo was smiling at Lee Sungjong!"
 

Myungsoo bent himself a bit to the right, trying to overhear the two male classmates' conversation when he heard his name being mentioned.
 

"That just means the rumours are true then." the other classmate answered. Myungsoo frowned, what rumors?
 

Finally, lunch period arrived and everyone raced to the cafeteria for food as well as to catch the arrival of the kingkas and queenkas. Sungjong was relieved that finally everyone's attention was diverted to elsewhere and not him for now. The spectacled boy made his way to the bathroom, glad that he isn't bump into anyone in the now empty hallway.
 

But just as Sungjong pushed open the door to the bathroom, he was pulled by the hair and slammed against the wall opposite of the restrooms. A group of senior girls surrounded him. Suddenly, one of the seniors kicked him in the stomach, Sungjong was taken by shock and groaned in pain as he slid down to the floor, and before he could recover, he felt rains of blows against every part of his body, his face was punched and he could taste blood in his mouth. The pain was overbearing and tears were sliding down his cheeks. He could hear comments spitted out by the girls, "Stupid geek! How dare you forced Myungsoo to marry you." and "Girly freak, you really need a bashing to learn not to hurt our kingkas!"
 

A loud squeal silenced the empty hallway and the blows and attacks on Sungjong stopped abruptly. A girl was weeping. Sungjong opened his tightly closed eyes and noticed the figure that was standing before him, with fists clenched and yelling at the top of his voice. Seemed like the mysterious figure had hit one of the bullies in the face, as a girl was covering her face with her hands and was lying on the floor not far from Sungjong.
 

"Don't. You. Dare. Lay. A. Finger. On. Him."
 

Sungjong recognized that voice...
