Final-PART ONE

5 Years Later...

APRIL 24

“Sorry I’m late again!” Hana proclaimed as she entered the shop, “We told you before, you should just stick to your normal job and stop working part time here” Ami said as she helped Hana change into her uniform, “Well Konoka-nee’s doing the same thing, she has her normal job and she’s also working part time here =3=” Hana pouted, “That’s because I have a schedule and you don’t” Konoka inserted “Uh?” the two wondered.

Outside, “Hana’s late again?” asked Syuu and Jun nodded his head, “Argsh, I told her to stop working for part time here” said Syuu “Heh, well you know, Hana-chan doesn’t listen to you” said Jun “Shut up and continue to work” Syuu responded, “Yes boss!” Jun proclaimed and he focused on what he was doing

            Meanwhile, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” the four guys proclaimed as they greeted the twins a happy birthday, “Arigatou Gozaimasu” the twins replied in unison, then “Yah, the two of you are already 25 years old... they say at this age, you’re suppose to get married” said Daisuke “Really? Then why are you still single?” Kira said with a smirk on his face “(-’_'-||) T-That’s because I’m going to focus on my career first” Daisuke replied as he felt a bit irritated, then “You do realize that up to now Kira still loves Mika-chan?” said Hiro “I know2x” said Daisuke and Kira kept quiet, then “Yah don’t look so sad okay? It’s our birthday” Yuki said as he put his arms around his brother’s shoulder and Kira gave him a weak smile

“Hey you guys! Better rehearse for your fan meet tonight at Tokyo University” Tanaka said as she entered the room “Hai~”the boys responded, “Happy Birthday you two” Tanaka said as she gave the twins their gifts. The two placed it on the side next to the other gifts that they’ve received and started to rehearse for their fan meet.

While having a break, Yuki noticed that Miharu was busy with his phone

“Texting Hana-chan again?” he asked as he raised his brow and a grin formed in his face, “M-hm, she says that she was late for work again” Miharu responded, “But I thought Syuu-kun already talked her out of working at the café for part time?” asked Jin “Well, she doesn’t listen to her brother” Miharu responded, “Yah Miharu, when are you going to ask her to be your girlfriend? I mean the two of you have been dating but only as friends” said Jin and Miharu kept quiet while blushing, Hiro suddenly noticed something

“Yah, I think... they’re already a couple” he said, “WHAT!?” Jin cried “Is that true!?” he added and Miharu shyly nodded his head, “Yah you punk! How dare you not tell your anikis about it! ARGSH, you’re going to get it!” Jin proclaimed as he jumped on Miharu and started to attack him, “Yah! Jin-nii, stop it!” he cried “No way you little brat!” Jin responded as he continued to tackle Miharu “Tch, baka” Kira murmured, then...

“Okay guys, back to rehearsals” said Tanaka and the boys nodded their heads.

Back at the Coffee Shop

“Aww, your boyfriend’s busy all of the sudden?” asked Jun “They’re having a fan meeting right now, sheesh” said Hana “Today is the twins’ birthday right?” asked Syuu and Konoka nodded her head while cleaning the table, “I wonder how Kira-kun’s doing” said Ami, “He seems cranky as usual... I sometimes talk to them for a while when we would bump into each other” Konoka responded, “Heh...” said Syuu

Suddenly, DING, “Customer” they said as they turned to the door “Welcome to- uh!?” all of them were shocked to see who was in front of them, the girl suddenly smiled at them and said “Surprised?”

            Boyfriend’s rehearsal was a success (as usual). Night time came and they were getting ready for their fan meet. Kira was the first one to finish so he decided to sit down on the couch and wait for the rest to finish. He looked at the Mika’s necklace, which he kept for five years already, every time it was their birthday, he would whisper a wish to it and that wish is no other than to see Mika again.

“I wish to see her again” he whispered as he closed his eyes, he opened his eyes and noticed a girl that was smiling at him, “Uh?” he wondered. He couldn’t see the girl’s full face, all he can see is her smile; he blinked for a few times and looked towards the girl’s direction again “Uh? That was weird” he said “I do not want to be haunted on my birthday, okay?” he said as he talked to the necklace, then

“Kira hurry up we’re going on stage already!” Jin proclaimed, “Hai” Kira responded and he went near them.

Moments later, their fan meet started and they performed their first song, after performing the first song the emcee got on the stage and let the members introduce themselves...

Meanwhile, “Candles ready?” asked Syuu and Konoka nodded her head, “The food?” he asked and Jun nodded his head, “Yosh, she’s counting on us so let’s make this place perfect!” he proclaimed, “Aye aye boss!” the others responded.

            After several performances from the group and each member, it was time to present the cake to the twins. They were singing ‘Happy Birthday’ while the cake was being strolled towards them, they blew the candles together and all of them clapped their hands, “Happy Birthday to our dearest Yuki and Kira, may the two of you have a happy life!” Daisuke proclaimed, suddenly...

(PLAY: Honey by SNSD)

“Uh?” all of them wondered as they heard the song, then a mascot suddenly came out of nowhere and went to the stage, “What the?” Kira wondered, the others were shocked as well. The mascot was an Egg shaped mascot with a cute face painted on, the mascot went near the twins and shook hands with them, then the mascot waved to the fans and the fans waved back, the mascot faced the twins and gave them each a box and after that, the ,ascot left

“O-kay that was weird” said Daisuke and the others agreed but then they continued with the program. After the fan meeting, at the back stage

“Tanaka-san, since when did you hire a mascot?” asked Hiro “yeah, I want one for my birthday as well!” Jin proclaimed, “Mascot? I didn’t hire a mascot” said Tanaka “EH!?” all of them cried, “But then, who invited that egg shaped mascot on stage?” asked Miharu “Egg shaped mascot?” Tanaka wondered, then “That’s weird” Yuki said as he was holding on to something, “What’s wrong?” asked Daisuke “That egg shaped mascot’s gift... Kira, did you open yours already?” Yuki asked as he turned to Kira, “Uh, not yet” Kira responded, “Open it” said Yuki. Kira shrugged and he opened his gift, he was surprised to see a plastic egg with a cranky face, “What the heck is this weird thing!?” he proclaimed, he showed it to the others and they found it weird as well, “It’s the same as mine, well... except for the cranky face, mine has a smiling one” said Yuki “I think there’s something inside... open it” said Miharu “Uh okay” said Yuki, the twins opened the plastic egg together and they found a piece of paper inside, Yuki decided to read his first

“Happy Birthday to you Yuki-kun, continue to wear that smiling face of yours always!”

“Uh?” Yuki wondered, then they turned to Kira “What does yours say?” asked Jin, Kira started to read his...

“Hey egg head, Happy Birthday! Now that you’re old, you should smile more often or you’ll die with a cranky face :P”

Kira got irritated with the message “How dare that mascot give this to me (-’_'-)” he said, the others looked at it, “Egghead huh?” said Daisuke and the guys laughed, “Egg head?” Kira wondered as he realized something, the others also realized it... “Egg head...” they said, Kira turned to them with excitement in his eyes, “There’s only one person who would call you that” said Hiro “Mika-chan... no way, don’t tell me... she’s back!?” Miharu proclaimed, they looked at Kira again then,

“I have to go” he said as he suddenly ran out of the backstage room “Uh...” they said then they smiled.

Kira started to run and run to catch up with the mascot but he couldn’t find her, “Darn it” he said as he was looking around. He was already tired and he was sweating then, he suddenly remembered the coffee shop “Uh” he said and he ran towards there.

He arrived at the coffee shop and it was already closed, “Eh? I could’ve sworn that I would find her here” he said as he was panting, he got tired so he decided to squat for a while, “Argsh... Ootori, where the heck are you?” he said, he stood up and was about to leave but then

“Uh?” he wondered as the lights in the shop were , he slowly opened the door when suddenly, SURPRISE! Syuu, Jun, Konoka, Hana and Ami and the rest of Boyfriend along with Tanaka, proclaimed

“W-What the?” Kira said as he was confused, “How did you guys get here?” he asked as he turned to the guys, “Right after you left, Takashi-kun called us and told us to come here” Hiro replied, “I’m quite jealous, she prepared this whole thing for you even though I’m also celebrating my birthday” Yuki added, “S-She?” Kira wondered then

“Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to you~” a girl from behind sang, Kira suddenly felt his heart beating fast, he slowly turned around and... “M-Mika...” he said as he saw Mika right in front of him, “Happy Birthday... Egghead” she said and she smiled at him, Kira was surprised, he was just staring at her, “Uh?” she wondered, “No way...” he said and Mika kept quiet. He walked towards her and the two of them were staring at each other then, Kira suddenly grabbed her, pulled her towards him and hugged her tight

“I can’t believe it’s you” he whispered, “Uh” Mika said and she smiled then she hugged him back. “I’m guessing you were really surprised huh?” she said, Kira hugged her tighter “Baka, who wouldn’t be” he responded, “Heh” said Mika, “You’re staying for good... right?” he asked “Yep” Mika responded and Kira’s smile widened, then “Ehem, can you stop with the hugging session for a while, we’re here you know (-_-)” said Jin, “Oh” the two said and they broke the hug then, “Yosh! Let’s get this party started!” Jun proclaimed and they turned the music up and started to party.

They were having a lot of fun, especially Kira whose wish came true. After a while, Mika decided to go out and stand on the open space across the street, she was looking around when suddenly

“Why are you here?” Kira inserted “Uh? Heh, I should be the one asking you that” said Mika “Tch” said Kira, there was a silence between them, then...

“I don’t understand... aren’t you mad at me?” asked Kira “Uh?” Mika wondered as she turned to him, “5 years ago, I left you without even saying anything... I hurt you real bad but now... I just don’t get it... why are you... happy to see me?” he asked, Mika smiled and said

“I’m sorry for being such a jerk, for being such an egghead, I’m sorry! I’m sorry for leaving you all the time, for being selfish and just thinking about how I feel and not how you feel... I’m sorry! Please... I hope you can hear me! I... I...-”

“I love you” Kira continued, Mika turned to him then smiled, “You actually heard me that time?” asked Kira and Mika nodded her head, “I can’t believe it...” he said “Uh?” Mika wondered, Kira suddenly hugged her, “I’m sorry, I really am... I’m sorry for being such a jerk. I really love you, the first time when I saw you, I always knew that I would love you and I do” he said, “K-Kira” said Mika then Kira broke the hug “Heh, are you... tearing up?” she asked but instead of responding, Kira leaned forward and kissed her which shocked her a lot, after kissing her, he noticed that Mika went O_O

“Heh” he said with a smirk on his face, “That’s what you get for not turning around” he added, Mika snapped out of it and she crossed her brows, “Yah, if I turned around then I would miss my flight!” she proclaimed, “Well of you had turned around then I would be able to give this back to you” Kira said as he showed the necklace to her, Mika’s face went back to O_O when she saw her necklace

“It fell in the plastic bag when we bumped into each other 5 years ago” said Kira “You... You found it?” she asked and Kira nodded his head, Mika smiled and she suddenly hugged him, “I can’t believe it, you found it!” she proclaimed while hugging him, Kira broke the hug and smiled at her

“Yah, listen up Ootori Mika...” he said, “Uh?” Mika wondered, “I, Hasegawa Kira, love you and want to stay with you forever” Kira added, Mika was a bit confused but then Kira suddenly kneeled in front of her, “Uh?” she wondered as her heart started beating fast and she was blushing

“Will you... marry me?” he said.

Author's note: Kira asked her to marry him, will she say yes?
