Chapter Eighteen:

3 Days Later...

            Boyfriend perfected their dance already so they were ready to shoot the other parts of the MV. They decided to shoot it at a private resort that Syuu’s family owns.

“Thank you again for letting us shoot here Takashi-kun, the place is great!” Tanaka proclaimed as she talked to Syuu on the phone. “No problem, I’m glad you like the place, it’s a good thing Mika informed me that you guys needed a location to shoot ^^” said Syuu “M-hm, she’s been a big help to us as well” said Tanaka “It’s good to know, by the way, thank you for taking care of her ^^” said Syuu “Not a problem at all, besides, I treat her as if she’s my own daughter and... *looks at Boyfriend who were talking to Mika* the guys also seem to enjoy her company” she said “Arigatou Gozaimasu. I will hang up now; I still need to help the others” said Syuu “Sure. Thanks again...bye” said Tanaka and she ended her phone conversation with Syuu.

“Yosh! You guys get in to hair and make-up, Mika-chan, help them prepare” Tanaka ordered.
“HAI!” they all replied. An hour later, Rina arrived with her personal stylist. She was wearing big round shades and she walked towards the guys

“Hi ^^” she greeted them “Uh?” they wondered as they looked at her then they continued doing their business. Rina felt a bit hurt and irritated because they ignored her, then she saw Mika. She suddenly frowned and said to herself “She’s here again? Tch” then she decided to sit down for a while.
30 minutes later, the guys were ready and they started to rehearse first before the actual shooting, they took off their jackets first and they only wore white shirts. While they were rehearsing the dance, Rina decided to sit next to Mika

“Mika-chan~” she called in a cute voice, “Uh?” Mika wondered as she turned to her “What?” she said, “Mika-chan, you’re here again” said Rina “I’m the assistant manager, of course I need to be here. Plus, I need to observe them to get more ideas for their music video” said Mika “Hmm, really...” Rina said as she pretended to act like she was interested “By the way, stop acting nice to me, it’s disgusting and it gives me the chills” said Mika “Heh, you sure have the guts to say that to me” said Rina “Of course I do” said Mika then she faked a smile and walked away “EH! She’s really annoying (>.<)” Rina proclaimed.

After 15 minutes, the boys started recording the dance part of the MV. They did well and were able to finish the recording in just one hour. After that, they changed into their next outfits for the 2^nd dance theme of the MV, since they’ll be recording 3 dances. While they were changing into their outfits

“Why is that brat here?” Kira asked Tanaka, “She’s here for the photoshoot later” Tanaka replied. “Photoshoot?” the others wondered, “You guys will have a photoshoot after your recording” said Tanaka “Uh?” they wondered. After an hour of changing and preparing, they started recording the 2^nd dance video. Mika paid close attention to them while shooting, when suddenly, “Mika-chan!” Rina called, “Uh?” Mika wondered as she saw Rina running towards her and she was carrying a cup of coffee, “Mika-chan, I brought you some hot coff-” but before Rina could finish what she was saying, she ‘accidentally’ tripped and poured the hot coffee on Mika
“YAAAH!” Mika yelled not because she was mad, but because the coffee was still hot and it was all over her (but there wasn’t much in her face), the guys heard her yell and they stopped filming “Uh?” they wondered and immediately hurried to Mika, they saw Mika covered with coffee and murmuring how hot it was, “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to” Rina ‘sincerely’ apologized but the others knew she did it on purpose. Kira immediately went near her and helped her up then...

“Kira! You go back and continue with the shoot, I’ll handle Mika-chan over here” said Tanaka
“But-” “Go, we don’t have any more time” said Tanaka “Let’s go Mika-chan” she added as she helped Mika-chan up and brought her inside the club house. When they were gone, Kira caught Rina grinning, “Hey you” he said in an angry way “Uh? It was an accident, believe me, I-” “I’m not the type of guy who would hit a girl but if you bother her again, I’m seriously going to rearrange your face until no one even recognizes that you used to be the pretty Fujioka Rina.” Kira said to her in an angry way and then he went back to the set, Rina was lost for words when Kira told her that. The other members saw how Kira was angry “He must be really mad, what he said to Rina-chan was really harsh” said Miharu and Jin nodded his head.

They continued with the shooting, even though Kira was really mad that time, he was able to hide it and did great with the shooting. In Mika’s case, Tanaka helped her wipe off the coffee and she gave her some extra clothes to wear
“Does it still hurt?” she asked Mika, “Uhh, just a little bit but I’ll be fine, thanks for helping me Tanaka-san” Mika replied. Tanaka smiled and said “You’re welcome Mika-chan, but... I shouldn’t have hired Rina-chan if I knew her attitude was really like this” said Tanaka, “Heh... some people are full of themselves, we can’t help it but to understand them” said Mika “Right, but I’m impressed by you Mika-chan, you didn’t even bother to hit her back or something. You acted in a mature way” said Tanaka “Heh, well my parents taught me to never get back at someone. Revenge is never the answer” said Mika “Then why is it when it comes to you and Kira quarreling, you never back down?” Tanaka wondered, “Well that’s a different story :D” Mika replied and Tanaka slightly laughed.

            During lunch break, the others immediately went near Mika to check on her
“Are you okay?” “Does it still hurt?” they asked
“I’m fine, okay?” she said then she looked at Kira and caught him looking at her but then he looked away “Heh” she said.

After lunch, they continued with shooting their last dance part and after that, the photoshoot began. While Boyfriend was having their photoshoot with Rina, Mika decided to check out the videos that Boyfriend filmed. “Doing the job immediately huh? It was a good choice that I hired you” Tanaka said as she sat next to Mika
“Uh, heh, I need to look at them so I’ll be able to make the cuts already ^^” Mika replied “So when do you think will it be ready” asked Tanaka “one week” Mika replied “Sou, then I’ll just leave everything to you, don’t worry, I’m not like the other managers ^^” said Tanaka “Arigatou Gozaimasu” said Mika then she continued looking at the videos.

During the photoshoot, even though Kira and Rina would look romantic together in the photos, Kira still can’t forget what Rina did to Mika and he was still mad at her
“Don’t come too close to me” he murmured
“Heh, this is a photoshoot dummy” said Rina
“Witch” said Kira
“What?!” Rina cried and Kira glared at her.

After the photoshoot, they decided to hang around the pool for a while, Kira was still ignoring Rina and the others felt a little bit bad but they were also a bit mad because of what Rina did to Mika. Moments later, Rina left the resort because she will have an interview at a certain studio. When Rina was already gone, “Good thing she left already” said Kira “But Kira, you shouldn’t have said those harsh things to her” said Yuki, “Well I guess it just goes to show that Kira likes Mika” said Jin. “HMM -_- said Kira then he suddenly pushed Jin and he fell in the pool and Kira laughed at him, the others couldn’t help but laugh as well

“Yah! Why did you do that?!” Jin exclaimed, “That was for teasing me” Kira said while laughing, “Here, let me help you up” Yuki said as he offered his hand to Jin, Jin grabbed it and he suddenly pulled Yuki and he fell in the pool as well “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Miharu laughed out loud, “hmmm” Yuki said with a mischievous look on his face suddenly, he pulled Miharu in as well and they laughed out loud, the 3 guys who were inside the pool thought of a plan. They got out and went near Hiro and Daisuke, then they also pushed them inside the pool as well “YAH!” the two cried, “Now it’s Kira’s turn” they said, they looked around and saw Kira hiding, they went near him, grabbed his arms and feet and they dropped him into the pool and they jumped in as well

The guys started playing and fooling around, then Mika came and saw them playing in the water “What are you doing?” she asked as she went near them, “We’re playing! Come join us Mika-chan!” Miharu proclaimed, “Heh, no thanks” said Mika, she was about to leave but she didn’t notice the twins behind her, she felt like something was up so she turned around but when she did “AH!” she yelled as the twins grabbed her and they pushed her into the pool.

“YAAAH!” she exclaimed, the twins then jumped in and splashed water all over her, “You two are going to pay!” she proclaimed then she began splashing water on the two. Miharu decided to help her and he also splashed water on the twins. Then a splashing war happened and after that, they started playing tag in the water and they were having a lot of fun.

Tanaka noticed them and they were having a great time, she smiled and said to herself “Seeing them like this makes me happy ^^”
After playing in the pool, they went out of it and sat at the side, “Here” Kira said as she offered Mika a towel, “Uh thanks” said Mika, then Kira sat next to her.

“I can’t believe you guys actually pushed me into the pool” said Mika “Well, that’s us” said Kira “And I can’t believe you actually know how to have fun” Mika added.
“Heh, did you really think that I’m a boring person?” asked Kira
“Well, you like to be alone sometimes, you hate noisy places, and you look grumpy, so... yeah” said Mika
“Heh” said Kira, then... “Well Mika-chan, if you knew, Kira wasn’t like that before” Hiro said as he sat in front of her “Uh?” Mika wondered, “Hiro’s right, Kira used to be a cheerful person” Jin added, “Really? Then how did he end up becoming grumpy Kira?” asked Mika “Let’s say, his ‘coolness factor’ rose up and well, fans wanted him to be cool, that’s why now, instead of just looking cool and arrogant, he really is cool and arrogant” said Yuki “Yah, Yuki!” said Kira and Mika laughed at him. “But Mika, if you were to choose, which do you prefer? The Cold and Arrogant Kira or The Cheerful Kira?” asked Daisuke, “Hmm, the cold Kira is a bit scary, and it’s kind of awkward if Kira is always cheerful so...” said Mika “Uh?” the others wondered, Mika faced Kira “Uh?” Kira wondered “Whether Kira is being cold or being cheerful, it doesn’t matter. As long as he is himself and he’s not trying to be what others want him to be” she said as she smiled at him, Kira suddenly blushed and he looked away. “A-arigatou” he said, the others noticed that he was blushing, “Looks like our Kira is blushing all of the sudden~” they teased, “I-I’m not!” he denied and they laughed at him. After that, they went back to their apartment

When Mika arrived at her apartment, she remembered what happened especially the pool part, and the part where Daisuke asked her the question
 

Mika’s POV

I can’t believe I said that but... it is true, I like him for who he is, he sure makes me laugh a lot even though he pisses me off and annoys me but... *remembers the times when Kira’s always there for her*he’s always there for me whenever I’m in a bad situation... I don’t know why, but he’s like my knight in shining armor or something * she felt her heart beating fast*

Uh? Why is my heart beating like this? Does it mean that I like him? But if I do like him... I’m afraid that... that... he might not like me back *hugs the pillow tightly*When he said that he doesn’t believe in Love at First Sight, it’s like he doesn’t believe in love at all. I don’t want to end up getting hurt again, I really don’t *sigh*No, I have to disregard these feelings I have for him... that’s right, I need to ignore this, my mind is just playing with me. I only THINK I like him because he’s there helping me out... that’s right, my mind is just playing with me. I don’t... like Kira...
-END of POV-

Before going to bed, Miharu decided to pay a visit to Kira’s room
“Can I come in?” he asked as he slightly opened the door, “Sure” Kira replied and Miharu entered the room
“You need something?” he asked, “Uh, I just wanted to talk to you” Miharu replied, Kira sat up and faced him “About what?” he asked, “Kira, I’m just going to ask you this directly” said Miharu “Uh?” Kira wondered. “You like Mika-chan don’t you?” he asked. “U-Uh?” Kira wondered.

Hmm, Mika wants to disregard her feelings for Kira but will she be able to do it? What IF Kira also likes her? Will she still disregard her feelings for him? :O
