[RECAP]

Mika released a sigh and settled her things, “How the heck am I suppose to change when these guys are around?” she murmured while fixing her things. Moments later, the guys were done changing and went outside because Mika was going to change. They waited for her for 15 minutes and she wasn’t done yet. “What the heck is taking her so long?” said Jin “Kira, go see what she’s doing” said Daisuke “M-Me?” Kira wondered, “No, I meant the tree” Daisuke replied in a sarcastic way and Kira gave him a glare. He knocked on the door and no one answered it, “Uh?” he wondered. He slowly opened the door and when was surprised when he saw someone in white with her face covered by her long hair

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!” he yelled.

Chapter Thirty Seven

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!” Kira yelled when he saw the girl, “What the?” Mika said as she suddenly uncovered her face, “O-OOTORI!?” Kira proclaimed while he was catching his breath. “You almost scared me to death!” he added, Mika noticed that he was looking pale  “Tch” what’s your problem?” she said then she removed the white blanket that covered her body, she tried to hang it on the wall but she couldn’t reach the hook “Darn it” she said. Kira got back to his normal self and went near her

 “What are you doing? The others are waiting for you” he said but Mika didn’t respond, she was too busy reaching for the hook, Kira rolled his eyes then grabbed the blanket from her and he was the one who attached the end of the blanket to the hook. “Uh thanks” said Mika “Tch, now tell me what the heck are you doing?” said Kira “I’m trying to make a cover to make sure that you guys won’t touch me while I’m sleeping” said Mika “Heh, Miharu already said that we won’t touch a single strand on your hair, okay?” said Kira “S-Still, I’m just making sure” said Mika “Tch. Hurry up, we’re going fishing” said Kira “Hai” said Mika, “Oh... tie your hair okay? And as much as possible, don’t let your bangs cover your face... people might think that they’ve seen a ghost...” Kira added then he went outside “Uh? Ghost?” said Mika

After five minutes, Mika went out of the cabin “Finally!” Jin proclaimed, “Sorry if it was taking me too long” she apologized, “No worries. Now let’s go, I’m excited to go fishing!” Daisuke proclaimed and the seven of them went to the river nearby their cabin.

The guys took out their fishing rods and started fishing while Mika was just watching them, “Uh... Mika-chan, aren’t you going to join us?” asked Yuki “E-Eh? No thanks... I don’t know how to fish” Mika replied “Really? Hiro-nii, you can teach her how to fish right?” said Yuki “Uh sure” Hiro replied, “Hiro-nii’s good at fishing” said Miharu “Uh?” Mika wondered.

Moments later, “Okay, so just cast your line and wait for the bite” said Hiro “Uh, hai” said Mika... seconds later, “Y-Yah, what’s wrong with this?” Mika said as she didn’t realize that she already got a bite. “Mika-chan, hook that fish!” Hiro proclaimed, “Eh?” Mika wondered as she didn’t understand what Hiro meant, Hiro went near her and grabbed the rod as well, he pulled the rod to get the fish out of the water, “Pull Mika-chan!” he proclaimed and Mika was pulling with all her strength, suddenly the fish was pulled out of the water “Yatta!” Mika proclaimed put they pulled harder and the fish was flying in the air, they stared at it as it landed on...

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Kira proclaimed, “Uh-oh” said Hiro; the fish landed on Kira and he was shocked that he yelled. The others laughed at him because he got startled by the fish, Mika couldn’t help but laugh as well

“ARGH!” he proclaimed. After an hour of fishing, they were able to catch 3 large fishes. “Waaaah~ I can smell fish for tonight’s dinner already!” Miharu proclaimed, “W-we’re going to eat that?” Mika asked as she pointed at the fish and Miharu nodded his head. “What’s wrong? You don’t eat fish?” asked Daisuke and Mika nodded her head. “Don’t worry, once you taste how Jin-nii’s fish, you would crave for more” said Yuki “Uh” said Mika.

            Meanwhile, at the café... “Mika-chan went out camping?” asked Jun and Syuu nodded his head “Woah~ you really trust her 100%” he said, “Eh?” Syuu wondered. “I mean you allowed your girlfriend to hang out with 6 other guys for over night... you really are something boss. No wonder a lot of girls are out there dying to be your girlfriend” said Jun “Uh” said Syuu.

Back at the campsite, while the others were preparing the food, Daisuke sent Kira and Mika out to go find some firewood

While the two were looking around

“Uh, there’s one over there!” Mika proclaimed as she saw a piece of wood under a tree, “Yah be careful, it’s slippery there” said Kira but Mika didn’t pay any attention to him, he released a sigh and continued picking some fire woods on the other side, suddenly

“AH!” he heard Mika cry, he immediately dropped the wood he was carrying and went near her, he saw her on the ground and she was holding her ankle

“Yah, what happened?” he said as he slowly and carefully walked towards her, “I kind of slipped and my ankle hurts” Mika replied, “Argsh. I told you to be careful right? Sheesh, you’re such a klutz” said Kira “Tch. Egghead” said Mika “Uh” said Kira; they looked at each other then... “O-Ouch!” Mika cried as her ankle was in pain, “You can’t walk properly... get on” he said as he turned to her, “E-EH?” Mika wondered, “What? You want to walk back to the cabin when you can’t? Get on” said Kira “B-But” “Argsh” Kira murmured then he let Mika get on his back and started carrying her in a piggyback way, “Uh” said Mika as she slightly blushed and felt her heart beating fast, “Kira... you’re making it difficult for me to not like you, Egghead!” Mika thought as she was resting on Kira’s back, then...

“Yah Mika...” he said “Why are you so stubborn? I told you to be careful didn’t I?” he said, “Uh... why do you even care” she said, “Heh... of course I would” Kira said in a low voice, “What?” said Mika “Uh... nothing” Kira replied and the two kept quiet. Both of them were blushing because they thought that it was another romantic moment for them, then...

“Kira!” Yuki called as he saw Kira “Uh?” he wondered when he saw Mika riding on his back “What happened to Mika-chan?” he asked, “This klutz over here slipped and hurt her ankle” Kira responded. “EH? You should have been careful” said Yuki “That’s what I told her” said Kira “(=_=) Hmm, you can put me down now” she said, “You sure? I can still carry you all the way back to the cabin” said Kira “I’ll be fine” said Mika “Okay then” said Kira then he let her down and she was able to stand up lifting one leg, she lost her balance but good thing Kira caught here “Yah be careful!” he said, “Okay2x, sheesh” said Mika. Yuki watched them and he suddenly smiled at them, they caught him smiling and gave him a puzzled face

“Uh, sorry for smiling all of the sudden, it’s just that... you two look so cute together, like a real couple” said Yuki and it made the two turn red, “I-I’m going now” said Mika as she was limping but then “I’ll help you Mika-chan” Yuki said as he went near Mika and put her arm around his neck, “Thanks” said Mika and Yuki smiled at her. Kira released a sigh then he went back to get the firewood that he just dropped.

            When Mika and Yuki arrived at the cabin, “Does it still hurt?” Yuki asked as he was twisting Mika’s foot, “Ouch!” Mika let out a cry when Yuki twisted it, “Gomen! But it doesn’t look that bad, maybe tomorrow morning it will be better” he said, “Uh, mm” said Mika then Yuki stood up and sat beside her.

“Mika-chan, I’m going to ask you something but you better answer me directly okay?” he said “That depends” said Mika “Hmm, yah... you like Kira don’t you?” he said but Mika didn’t respond “Uh?” she wondered, “Why did Yuki-kun suddenly ask me that question? What should I tell him? I don’t even know if I like Kira myself” she thought. Yuki noticed the silence and he decided to change the question, “Since you can’t answer that then let me ask you a different question” he said “Uh” said Mika “Do you really have feelings for Takashi-kun?” he asked. “M-Matte, why are you-” “Just answer the question please... and be honest, I don’t like it when people aren’t honest with their feelings, I feel really sorry for them so please... be honest about it” said Yuki, it made Mika want to tell him the truth even more, she took a deep breath and started telling him everything. While Yuki was listening to Mika’s explanation, “Wait... so you got in that relationship because you wanted to help Takashi-kun and not because you like him?” he asked “I guess it’s something like that, but please don’t tell anyone about this” she added “Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone... but Mika-chan... if you don’t have feelings for Takashi-kun then...” Yuki said as he turned to her with a happy face, “Uh?” she wondered, Yuki suddenly hugged her and said “There’s a possibility that you’ll like Kira, right?” “E-EH!?” Mika cried, she broke the hug and gave Yuki a “what-the-heck-are-you-talking-about” look.

“Mika-chan, from now on call me ‘Gikei’ okay?” he said, “E-Eh?” said Mika

(T/N: Gikei means Brother-in-law)

“Y-Yah, I’m not calling you that” said Mika “Then call me ‘Yuki-nii’ instead” said Yuki “What? Yuki-kun, I-” “Yuki-nii!” Yuki insisted, Mika released a sigh and said “Fine. Yuki-nii, happy?” said Mika “Very (^^)” said Yuki, then... “Yuki! Come out here for a sec and help us set the tables!” Jin proclaimed, “Hai~” Yuki replied and he went out of the cabin and decided to help out with the others.

Mika released a huge sigh and decided to rest, she lied down on the bed until she slowly fell asleep.

While she was asleep, she suddenly had a dream

~~Mika’s Dream~~

She found herself in the meadows, “Wow, it’s pretty here~” she said as she was walking around, then she saw someone sitting on a rock, she decided to approach him, “Hey?” she said but when the guy turned to her “K-Kira?” she wondered, Kira smiled at her and he moved so that she can sit right next to him. “Sit down” he said, “N-No thanks” Mika replied, Kira suddenly pulled her up so that she can sit down

“E-Eh” she said as she was sitting right next to him. The rock wasn’t really wide so they were very close to each other, “Yah, move closer so that you won’t fall” said Kira “E-Eh? N-no thanks” said Mika “Argsh” Kira said then he suddenly put his arms around her “Y-Yah!” Mika proclaimed, “What? I’m making sure that you won’t fall” said Kira “B-But I-” “Ootori” said Kira “Uh?” said Mika “You like me don’t you?” he said, “E-Eh?” Mika wondered while she was blushing. Her face was only a few inches away from Kira and when he turned to her, her heart started beating fast “Ootori... I... I...” Kira said as he leaned forward and suddenly kissed her. She was surprised that time because it was her 2^nd kiss “What the?” she said in her mind. After Kira kissed her, he smiled at her and she continued to blush

“K-Kira...” she said, “I like you” Kira said while looking at her straight in the eye. It made her heart beat faster than before, she was lost for words and didn’t know what to say, and all she can do was stare at him with a confused and red face.

She was suddenly awakened by a large thump. “Uh?” she said as she immediately went outside and saw Daisuke wrestling Kira “E-Eh? (=_=||)” she said then, “Good, you’re awake and your foot seems to be fine already (^^)” Hiro said as he approached her, “Uh. Hai” said Mika then she noticed that Miharu was looking at her and he was blushing, “Uh?” she wondered as she looked at him then he looked away.

“Hmmm” she said then she looked at Kira and Daisuke again, then she remembered her dream “W-Why does it feel like it was a real kiss?” she said to herself as she touched her lips...

During dinner time, “Itadakimasu~” all of them said and the guys started eating while Mika just stared at the fish. “You’re still not going to eat it?” asked Hiro and Mika just stared at it, then... Mika-chan a snake!” Daisuke proclaimed “WHAT!?” Mika yelled as she opened and Daisuke suddenly fed her the fish. “Uh?” she wondered as the fish was already in , “Now chew” said Daisuke and Mika chewed the food, “And then swallow” he added and Mika swallowed her food. “Uh” she said, “Well how was it?” asked Yuki, Mika didn’t reply, instead she took another bite and said “YUM!” and the others smiled at her, “Jin’s cooking is always the best!” Daisuke proclaimed and the others nodded their heads, then Jin noticed that Miharu wasn’t eating

“Uh, Miharu what’s wrong?” he asked but Miharu was spacing out, “Yah Miharu!” Kira proclaimed and he went back to his senses “Uh?” he said, “You’re not eating” said Jin “R-Really?” he said then he started eating “Uh?” the others wondered.

After dinner, Yuki and Daisuke were in charge of washing the dishes. Meanwhile the others were just talking but Mika didn’t join them, she was busy with her phone, then

RING, Kira’s phone rang, he looked at the caller and it was Konoka “Uh?” he wondered, he excused himself and decided to talk to her privately

*Phone Convo*

Konoka: Kira-kun?
Kira: Yea?
Konoka: Uh... I just wanted to ask how you’re doing
Kira: Oh, well everything’s fine here
Konoka: Really? That’s great to hear... well, I guess I’m disturbing you, I’ll just see you when you get back
Kira: okay then
Konoka: I... I *blush* I miss you, bye.
Kira: Uh? Mm, bye. *hangs up*

*END of Phone Convo*

Konoka felt really nervous when she told Kira that she missed him, “I can’t believe I told him that” she said. In Kira’s case, he was a bit surprised when Konoka said that she misses him and he felt a bit guilty because he knew that Konoka likes him from the start but he never really had some feelings for her...

He was about to go back when suddenly, “Ouch!” he proclaimed as he suddenly bumped in to Mika “What are you doing here? Were you following me?” he said, “What? Of course not; Tch, Syuu-nii just called but it got cut because there weren’t any signal” said Mika “Sou... by the way, how’s your foot?” he asked “Well, it’s fine now. I can almost walk properly but it still hurts” Mika replied “Sou... maybe you should sit down first” said Kira “Uh” said Mika...

            Moments later, the two of them sat next to each other while they were gazing at the stars “Sugoi...” Mika said as she saw a lot of stars in the clear night sky, “Beautiful right?” said Kira and Mika nodded her head while she was still looking at them. Kira then looked at her and smiled, Mika noticed it and she turned to him

“What?” she said, “Nothing it’s just that *looks up* this is the first time I’ve looked at the stars with a girl” he said “E-Eh? Heh, why does it sound so special to you?” asked Mika “Why? Don’t you think it’s romantic?” said Kira and Mika slightly blushed, “Whatever” she said. There was a silence between them then Mika suddenly remembered her dream “Uh” she said as her face was red again, then...

“You know what, if I had a real girlfriend, I want to go star gazing with her every night” he said “Every night?” Mika wondered and Kira nodded his head. “Tch, but I think it’s impossible for you to get a real girlfriend” said Mika “And why is that? I’m rich, handsome, famous, and smart and I’m absolutely no klutz, so why do you think that I won’t get a real girlfriend?” he asked. “Because you’re mean and an egghead!” Mika proclaimed. “Tch, mean? Konoka-chan said that I’m nice” said Kira “Please, you probably made her say that” said Mika “Nope. She actually said it” said Kira “Uh” said Mika then she remembered her promise to Konoka about asking Kira for his ideal type. She suddenly kept quiet and kept thinking if she should ask him or not

“Yah Ootori...” Kira spoke up “Mm?” Mika said as she turned to him, he was looking at the sars then “What’s your ideal type of guy?” he asked, Mika was shocked because of his question

“E-Eh?” she said, Kira faced her and repeated the question again “What’s your ideal type of guy?” “W-Well, someone like my dad” Mika replied “Really? What’s he like?” asked Kira “Well others say that he’s really serious and many are afraid of him because he looks so cool and strict and stuff but when he’s with us, he always shows us his soft and caring side. I also like it if a guy is mean to others but isn’t when it comes to his loved ones” said Mika “Sou...” said Kira “How about you? What’s your ideal type of girl?” Mika finally asked the question

“Me? I’m just looking for someone who is real with their feelings, someone who doesn’t know how to give up on me especially with this attitude of mine... but most girls that have confessed to me hated me after I rejected them in a harsh way.” said Kira “Really? Hmm, don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll find that right girl for you” Mika said as she looked at the sky, “Looks like I already have” Kira said in a low voice as he faced her

 “Huh?” Mika wondered, she wasn’t able to hear what Kira said   “N-nothing, I said let’s go back to where the others are, it’s getting pretty cold” Kira said as he stood up then he helped Mika up “Thanks” she said, Kira walked ahead but then “Kira, matte!” Mika called and he turned to her, “I...” said Mika “Uh?” Kira wondered, “I... I...” Mika said as she lowered her head, suddenly Kira went near her and hugged her and she was shocked because of what he did “Uh?” she said. She felt a warm feeling inside that she have never felt before, she suddenly remembered the part of her dream where Kira asked her if she liked him “I... I...” she said to herself, she was about to cry because she was so confused, she wanted to thank Kira because of how he took care of her but now, she feels like she wants to tell him something else

“I’m falling for him... darn it” she said to herself as Kira was still hugging her. A few moments later, Kira released her from the hug and he looked at her and noticed that she had teary eyes “Did you cry?” he asked but Mika didn’t respond. “Ootori?” he said...

“Darn it... why is it this difficult? I can’t tell him that I like him... maybe he’ll just laugh at me, besides... someone like me doesn’t even have the right to like him. He looks so much better with Konoka-chan...” Mika said to herself, “Yah Ootori!” Kira proclaimed and Mika went back to her senses, “I wanted to thank you for helping me out today” she said “Eh?” Kira wondered, “Well, you’re welcome” he added. Mika gave him a half smile and then she walked ahead. Kira started to wonder what happened to her because before he hugged her, she wasn’t like that

“Was it because of the hug? She doesn’t like it?” he asked himself.

The next day when Mika arrived at her apartment, “Thank you Tanaka-san for giving me a day off” she said to herself as she lied down on her bed, she was about to go to sleep when suddenly

‘DING DONG’ her doorbell rang, “ARGH!” she proclaimed as she stood up and went there to opened it, when she opened the door, she was surprised to see

“Chizu?” she wondered, “Yah, why do you look so tired?”asked Chizu “*Yawn* I just got home from our camping trip, I wasn’t able to get some sleep” Mika replied “Really? Well you better not be sleepy today, we’re going out!” Chizu proclaimed “What? Where?” Mika wondered. “To buy some ingredients silly... tomorrow’s valentine’s day” Chizu replied.

“Eh? VALENTINE’S DAY?!” Mika proclaimed.
