Chapter Forty Two

Kira and Konoka continued to look at Yuki and Mika, Yuki suddenly felt like someone was watching them and when he looked up

“U-Uh” he said as he suddenly let go of Mika, she slowly turned to them and when Kira saw the tears in her eyes “Uh” he said and he looked away. Mika suddenly wiped the tears away from her eyes then faced Yuki “Thanks” she said and Yuki just smiled at her then she looked at Kira and Konoka once more, Kira tried to look at her but whenever he does, he feels like Mika is still crying that’s why he just looked away. Mika lowered her head and slowly left the three of them, but then Konoka suddenly followed her and left the twins alone

“Kira... I didn’t mean to-” “Did I hurt her that bad? Did she saw what happened that’s why she cried?” said Kira and Yuki kept quiet, he slowly nodded his head in reply. “Heh... I really am a jerk...” Kira said to himself, “Kira, you’re-” “I can’t take this anymore, I’m ending it all now” he added then he suddenly ran off. “Kira!” Yuki proclaimed but Kira was already gone “Uh” he said.

            In Mika’s case, she ran towards the park, she kept on running while tears were falling from her eyes when suddenly “Yah Mika-chan!” Konoka proclaimed as she grabbed Mika’s arm and stopped her from running, then she made Mika face her “Uh” Mika said as she was shocked to see Konoka, Konoka saw the tears in Mika’s eyes, she suddenly felt guilty but disregarded it

“You... I can’t believe it” she said and Mika just kept quiet, “How dare you not tell me that you like Kira as well?” she added but still, Mika just kept quiet. “I can’t believe this... I HATE YOU!” she proclaimed and was about to slap Mika when suddenly, someone stopped her. She looked behind and saw Kira “Uh?” she said, “Don’t you dare hurt her” he said “K-Kira” said Konoka, Mika was surprised of what she saw but she suddenly ran away, she couldn’t bear seeing Kira feel sorry for her because she kept crying “Ootori!” he called but Mika didn’t look back then he faced Konoka, he was definitely angry at her and at himself but he threw all his anger at her

“Because of you... I hurt her... because I was stupid enough to help you... I didn’t know that she was that hurt already...” he said “K-Kira, loosen your grip will you? It hurts!” Konoka proclaimed “You... listen to me... WE ARE THROUGH! I’M DONE HELPING YOU!” he proclaimed then he suddenly let go of Konoka, he was about to leave but then Konoka hugged him from behind

“Don’t leave me” she said as she was about to cry but Kira broke the hug “My decision is final, I’m going to announce the break up this afternoon during our press conference. After that, don’t you dare come near me ever again” he said then he walked away “K-Kira!” Konoka cried but Kira ignored her. She suddenly fell on the ground, dumbfounded.

            At the Black and White Café... “Welcome to our- M-Mika-chan!?” Jun proclaimed when he saw Mika entering the shop with tears in her eyes, Syuu immediately went out of his office once he heard that Mika was already in the shop but when he got out... “Mika” he said as he suddenly went near her and looked at her

“What happened? Who made you cry?” he added but Mika just kept quiet, Syuu then realized that it could be no other than Kira, he released a sigh and hugged her and she cried even more. After a while, he called Chizune and Rui to come and get her, “Thank you again for calling us Takashi-kun... I’m glad that Mika met you” said Chizu “No problem” Syuu replied and he smiled at her then Chizu went near Rui who was sitting next to Mika and patting her back

“Mika... why didn’t you tell us that you were already in love with that guy? We could’ve set you up with Yoshiro earlier that way you would fully forget about Kira-kun” said Chizu but Mika just kept quiet “But I could’ve sworn that Kira-kun likes her too” Rui whispered to Chizu then... “I saw them hugging during Valentine’s Day and they looked so perfect... During their photoshoot, they looked like real newly weds... and a while ago... when they were about to kiss... I can feel like I’m just nothing compared to Konoka-chan” Mika said as she was staring at a blank space “Uh, Mika...” said Chizu. She looked at Rui and Rui gave her an “I-don’t-know-what-to-do” look, she released a sigh and started thinking of something then, “Ah! I have an idea!” she proclaimed and the two turned to her.

            Meanwhile, “Kira... where’s Mika-chan?” asked Jin but Kira didn’t reply. Instead, he went near Yuki and whispered to him something, “Uh... are you sure?” he asked and Kira nodded his head. Yuki released a sigh and said “Okay then...” and he gave him a smile. The others were wondering what the twins were talking about, but when they saw Yuki smile at Kira; they knew that it was something good.

5 minutes before the interview... “Yah, what were the two of you talking about?” Daisuke asked as he went near Yuki “You’ll see Aniki” Yuki replied and Daisuke noticed that he was very happy “I bet this is going to be good” he said to himself. When the interview started, the reporters asked them a lot of questions about their new album, about their promotions and about their future plans, suddenly... one reporter raised his hand and said

“I have a question for Hasegawa Kira””Uh, hai” Kira responded. The reporter stood up and asked “How are things between you and Konoka-chan?” the others turned to him wondering if he was nervous but when they did, “UH?” they were surprised to see him calm. Kira smirked and said “Not anymore” “EH!?” all of them were shocked “Wait, are you saying that it’s over between you and Konoka-chan?” another reporter asked “Yes. Actually, it wasn’t a real relationship, we only did it for the publicity and I humbly ask for everyone’s apology” Kira added as he bowed in front of them, the reporters were intrigued with the issue and continued to ask him more questions but then “Okay that’s enough! We’re done for today” Tanaka proclaimed as she let the boys get off the stage.

When they arrived at their dressing room, “Yah Kira, is it really true!?” Jin proclaimed and Kira gave him a smirk “No way...” they said then Daisuke suddenly hugged Kira “I’m so happy Kira! T_T” he cried while hugging Kira “A-Aniki!” Kira proclaimed as he broke the hug then, “Kira! What the heck were you thinking? Why did you broke up with Konoka-chan!?” Tanaka proclaimed as she entered the dressing room, “Eh? Tanaka-san, shouldn’t you be happy?” asked Hiro, Tanaka released a sigh and said “I am happy but... you do realize that this will be all over te news and there will be a lot of negative comments from some other critiques out there?” said Tanaka “Don’t worry, I can handle them” said Kira, Tanaka noticed the confident smile that Kira gave her then she released a sigh and said “Very well...”

Then, “Wait... where’s Mika-chan?” Miharu asked as he noticed that Mika wasn’t with them. They’ve been really busy and didn’t notice that Mika was gone ever since that morning “Uh?” Kira wondered then he remembered what happened at the park, “Give me your phone” he said to Yuki and Yuki handed his phone to him, he dialed Mika’s number but

“Uh?” he wondered, no one was answering, he faced Yuki and Yuki gave him a worried look. He was about to leave but when he opened the door, a lot of reporters were in front of him and continued to ask questions when they saw him, he immediately shut the door closed.

“Maybe we should try the other door” said Hiro, they nodded their heads and Jin opened the back door but when he did “AH!” the six of them cried as they saw the other half of the reporters, he immediately closed the door “I can’t believe this, we’re surrounded by reporters!” he proclaimed then, “Don’t worry, we called for backup and they’re on their way” said Tanaka and the guys felt relieved then she faced Kira “About Mika-chan” she said... “Uh?” Tanaka wondered. “She already quit” she added “WHAT!?” all of them cried “No way...” Kira added “What happened? Why did she quit!?” Daisuke proclaimed “I don’t know the main reason yet, but she says she’s leaving... but she’ll come back the day before she leaves for Paris to get her things and say her goodbyes” Tanaka replied “I can’t believe it... Mika-chan quit on the same day that Konoka-chan and Kira broke up... GAAAH! Why is everything so difficult!?” Jin proclaimed. Miharu and Yuki turned to Kira whose confident face suddenly turned into an upset one “Uh?” they wondered, “Why I ought to talk to that girl once we get back to the apartme-” “I’m afraid you can’t do that” said Tanaka “Why?” asked Hiro “She left with her friends to go to the country side... they won’t be back ‘till next Friday” said Tanaka “Friday? That’s probably like a week from now!” Miharu proclaimed “Well that’s what her friend Chizune told me, they’ll be gone for a week and when they come back, Mika-chan would probably stop by the studio to get her things” said Tanaka “Uh” the others responded.

They couldn’t believe what they just heard... did it really happen? Did Mika really quit? Was it because of Kira? Those were the questions that kept running in their thoughts.

            Meanwhile, in 6RG’s case... they watched Boyfriend’s Live Press Conference and when they heard what Kira said “Uh” all of them looked at Konoka who was sulking at the corner. She couldn’t believe that it happened, she asked herself what happened. What did she do wrong?

Konoka’s POV

Why? Why is this happening? I can’t believe this is happening to me... I know that we’re just pretending to go out but I really did like him... in fact, I fell in love with him the first time I saw him. I actually thought that he’ll feel the same way about me even though he said that he likes another girl... Urgh! I’m so stupid! I can’t believe this... He even announced to the whole press, or probably, the whole world that our relationship was fake... this is so Embarrassing, I can’t believe this is happening...

What did I do wrong to deserve this? I was a good girlfriend even though we were just pretending right? The only lie I made was when I told Kira-kun that I made those chocolates for him, but... I only did that to impress him...

And Mika-chan, I can’t believe that Kira-kun likes her, I mean... at first, I thought he did like her but after I saw how they treat each other so coldly... I just forgot about it. But ever since we started to ‘go out’, I’ve always noticed that he was spacing out most of the time, I thought he was really like that but... he was actually thinking about how Mika-chan felt when she would see the two of us together... it’s always been her... and me? I’m the one trying so hard so that he’ll notice me... even though we went out; we’ve been declared as a couple... Mika-chan is always the one whom he’s thinking about...

Konoka... you’re one stupid girl...

-END of POV-

            The other members went near her and comforted her and she continued to cry. “Hush Konoka... don’t worry, there will always be a lot of guys out there who are willing to love you” Ayaka said as she patted Konoka on the back “Yeah, don’t worry kiddo... plus, we’re always here for you!” Mugi added and the others nodded their heads “Girls...” she said as she faced them with tears in her eyes “THANK YOU SO MUCH!” she proclaimed and they grouped hugged.

In Syuu’s case, he wasn’t aware of the news yet, but he was aware that Mika was leaving for the country side for a week. He approved of it because he thinks that it would be best if Mika had some alone time and will be far from all the celebrity involvements and stuff.

He was peacefully giving out the orders to his customers when suddenly, “Nii-chan!” Hana entered the shop while she was panting “Uh?” all of them wondered as they turned to her “Quick, turn the TV on!” she proclaimed “Eh?” they wondered, “Just turn it on quick!” she added then Ami turned the TV on and

“SHOWBIZ BREAKING NEWS: During a Press conference a while ago, Boyfriend member, Hasegawa Kira announced that his relationship with 6RG’s Takezawa Konoka was actually fake. They only did it for the publicity, it shocked all of their fans but most of them are happy to hear about the break up

Fan 1: I always knew those two would break up in less than a month
Fan 2: I can’t believe it, Kira-sama’s single! >w<
Fan 3: It was actually nice to hear that those two went out but when I found out that it was just fake, I went like YEHEY! And decided to throw a party

This has been LEO from J Showbiz”

The shop was pretty quiet, all of them turned to Syuu who was still looking at the television “Boss?” said Jun then “I have to call Mika” he said as he took out his phone from his pocket but when he dialed Mika’s number “Uh?” he wondered as he realized that her phone was turned off “I forgot... Chizune-chan told me that Mika’s phone won’t be available (-_-)” he said to himself.

            In Mika’s case, Chizune and Rui decided to take her to the country side to escape the city view for a while, on the way there “Wait, how did you guys made Tanaka-san say ‘Yes’ to my so called vacation?” she asked “Don’t worry, Rui took care of that” said Chizu “Yep. I sure did” Rui responded

“Really? What did you tell them?” asked Mika

“Oh, I just told Tanaka-san that you’re quitting (^^)” Rui responded

“Oh~ wait, WHAT!? =[]=” the girls cried in unison.

Author's note: Kira 'broke up' with Konoka after seeing Mika cry for the second time. I guess he really loves her that much huh? (^^) How was this chapter by the way? :O
