FLASHBACK: 3 Years Ago

When Mika arrived at the airport, she was amazed with the tall buildings and the surroundings. She has never seen an amazing view before, “Sugoi~” she said as she was walking around. “Mika!” her aunt called her, “Hai~” Mika said and she went near her aunt. They rode a taxi and arrived at Mika’s new apartment, where she’ll be staying
“Here are your bags dear, I better head to Hokkaido; my boss is waiting for me there. Please take good care of yourself” her aunt said as she hugged Mika, “Don’t worry Auntie, I’m going to do well here and I’ll take care of myself ^^” Mika replied as she hugged her auntie back. After that, her aunt bid her good bye and went to Hokkaido.
In Mika’s case, she grabbed her bags and went inside the Apartment Building. Her apartment was at the 5th Floor so she used an elevator to go there. At the hallway, she accidentally bumped into someone and her bags fell on the floor
“Gomenasai!” she apologized at the guy then she picked her bags up, “It’s okay” the guy replied and he helped Mika picked her bags, when he saw her face
“Uh, you must be a half blood” he said, “Half blood? Are we talking about vampires here?” Mika wondered, the guy slightly laughed and said “No, I mean you must be half Japanese” “Sou...uh, hai! Ootori Mika desu, Yoroshiku!” she said, the guy smiled and said “Nice to meet you Mika, I’m Takashi Syuu” “N-nice to meet you Takashi-kun!” Mika proclaimed and Syuu smiled at her, “By the way, do you mind if I help you carry your bags to your apartment?” he said, “Not at all ^^ hehe, thanks Takashi-kun” said Mika, “You’re welcome” Syuu replied then he carried Mika’s other bags into her apartment
“Uh, your apartment is just next to ours ^^” he said as he entered Mika’s apartment, “Then I guess we’re neighbors ^^” said Mika “Looks like it (:” said Syuu. After placing the bags in her apartment, Mika and Syuu went outside
“You’re not unpacking first?” he asked, “Nah, I want to roam around Tokyo first and look at the sights, uh... Takashi-kun, if it’s okay... can you give me a tour around here?” she asked Syuu, “Hmm, sure. I’ll be glad to give you a tour ^^” Syuu replied, “Arigatou!” Mika proclaimed and the two left the apartment building and started with the tour.
“So where do you want to go?” asked Syuu “Hmm, anywhere sounds fun!” Mika proclaimed, “Hmm, how about this, we go to an Amusement Park today and maybe tomorrow, we can start the official tour?” Syuu suggested, “Sounds fun! I’ve never been to an Amusement Park before ^^” said Mika, “Yosh~ let’s go!” Syuu proclaimed and the two of them went to the Amusement Park. When they arrived there, Mika was amazed when she saw the rides
“WOAAAAHH~” she said to herself, while she was looking at the rides, Syuu was buying them the tickets, when the lady handed him the tickets, she noticed that Syuu was trembling
“Uh, are you okay sir?” she asked, “I-I’m fine” Syuu replied. “Well then, I hope you’ll have a great time here!” she proclaimed then Syuu went near Mika and gave her the ticket. While the two were talking, the lady who handed him the ticket was looking at them
“What’s wrong?” her co-worker asked, “I think it’s that guy’s first time here. He was shaking when I handed him the ticket...” she replied. “Hmm, I guess he’s trying to act tough to impress that girl” her co-worker said, “You’re right, heh, men these days” she said and she continued with the next customer.
Mika and Syuu decided to ride the balloon ride, Mika was a bit nervous at first but she enjoyed the ride, in Syuu’s case, after the ride, he felt like throwing up but he didn’t because he doesn’t want Mika to find out that he’s actually weak when it comes to rides. Next they rode the Disk-O “AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!” they screamed but it was still fun for Mika. They were about to go to the next ride but Syuu made an excuse that it was already lunch time and they should eat already, Mika agreed with him because she was also hungry and they started looking for a restaurant.
Syuu spotted an Italian Restaurant and they decided to eat there, while eating “Ne Takashi-kun, tell me... you’re not good with rides are you?” Mika asked, “Uh, well...” said Syuu. “Don’t you dare lie to me, I can sense you already” said Mika, Syuu released a sigh and said “You got me. I am (=.=)” “Eeeh? *laugh* I knew it” Mika replied and she continued eating. “But I don’t get it why you took me to the Amusement Park when you’re not so good with rides” she added, “Well I wanted you to have fun on your first day here so I thought of bringing you to the Amusement Park ^^” Syuu replied, “Really? Heh, I’m so lucky to meet a very nice guy like you! I hope we’ll become good friends ^^” said Mika, Syuu slightly blushed and said “Same here Mika” then they continued to eat.
After eating, they decided to ride the swan boat in the lake, after that, they rode some intense rides...
They rode the Swing Carousel, then the Pirate Ship, then the Roller Coaster and then they rode the Top Spin
Mika wanted to ride some more but then she noticed that Syuu was already tired, she slightly laughed at him. “Ne Takashi-kun, why don’t we ride that one next” Mika suggested as she pointed at a ride, Syuu turned around and saw a Ferris wheel, he smiled and said “Sure” then they went inside it.
When the ride started, they were very quiet. Mika was looking outside the window while Syuu was looking at her
“She sure is cute, but... she kind of reminds me of my sister ^^ hmm, maybe I should bring her to the shop with me after this” he said to himself then he noticed Mika’s necklace
“Uh?” he said as he stared at it, Mika noticed him staring at her necklace, she smiled and said
“It’s pretty right?” Syuu slightly blushed and said “U-uh, yeah...”
“My friend gave this to me on my 14th Birthday, it’s really special. I never take it off even when I go to sleep or take a bath. I know this sounds silly, buy you see, this necklace will help me find my match ^^” said Mika
“Match?” Syuu wondered,
“I’ve never been in a relationship before because I don’t want to end up with the wrong guy, that’s why I’ve told myself that I won’t enter a relationship unless I’m ready to get married or meet my one true match” she added
“Heh, that sounds cute” said Syuu
“So what does it have to do with the necklace?” he asked, “If ever I lost this necklace and a guy was able to find this, then it means that he MIGHT be my one true match” Mika replied “Might?” Syuu wondered.
“I also have other signs on how to find my one true match” said Mika
“Sou... heh, you sure are something Mika” he said and Mika smiled at him then she continued to look outside.
When the ride ended,
“So where are we going next? It’s still 4:30PM” Mika asked
“I’m going to the Black and White Café, do you want to come with me?” he asked
“Black and White Café?” Mika wondered, Syuu smiled and he grabbed her hand and brought her to the Black and White Café
When they arrived there, Mika was amazed by the place because it was so clean and it wasn’t like the other Coffee Shops she’s been to
“Why don’t you go find a seat, I’ll be right with you” Syuu said to Mika, Mika nodded her head and she started finding a seat. She found one which was near the glass window and she sat there, “AAHH~ it feels great to sit here~~” she said to herself, then...
“May I take your order ma’am?” the waiter said, Mika turned to him and was shocked because it was “Takashi-kun?” she wondered. “Hai, Konnichiwa, I’m Takashi Syuu your waiter ^^” he said, “You work here?” she asked, Takashi smiled and said “I own the place” Mika’s eyes went (O_O) Syuu giggled and said “What will your order be?” he asked as he gave the menu to Mika, Mika looked at the menu and then she told Syuu her order
“Your order will be prepared within 10-15 minutes, can you wait?” he asked and Mika nodded her head then Syuu went inside the kitchen.
When he got inside, “Boss, who’s the girl?” Jun asked, “She’s a new friend” Syuu replied while he was preparing Mika’s order
“New friend? Or Girl...friend?” Jun asked in a suspicious way, “Don’t get carried away by your wild imagination, she just arrived here in Tokyo and she’s from another country. She’s my new neighbor and I took her to the amusement park a while ago” said Syuu,
“Hmm, whatever you say boss, but you know what, she’s kind of cute, do you mind if I asked her out?” Jun asked,
“Heh, don’t you dare... I don’t want her to be involved with a player like you” said Syuu
“Haha, I’m just kidding, sheesh, you’re so greedy and you want her all for yourself” said Jun
“Shut up (-_-) she’s just like my sister” said Syuu
“Okay2x, whatever you say, speaking of sister... where’s Hana?” asked Jun
Syuu looked at the time and said “She should be here by...”
“I’m here!” a girl proclaimed as she went inside the shop and Mika turned to her, “Uh?” she wondered. Syuu went out of the kitchen to greet his sister, “Good thing you’re not late” he said, “Hihi ^^” the girl replied, “Yah, we have a new friend, do you want to know who she is?” Syuu asked her and the girl nodded her head, “She’s over there” Syuu said as he pointed his finger at Mika, the girl saw her and she gave Mika a big smile and went near her
“Konnichiwa! I’m Takashi Hana, Syuu-nii’s sister; I’m 3 years younger than him. Nice to meet you!” she said. Mika smiled and said, “Nice to meet you, my name is Ootori Mika ^^ umm, I don’t know my year gap between Takashi-kun but I’m 18 years old” “Then your two years younger than him and a year older than me, hihihihihi, welcome to our café Mika-nee! I hope you’ll like the food here~” Hana said, “M-hm” said Mika then Hana went inside the locker room to change into her uniform.
Moments later, “Here you go” Jun said as he placed the tray on the table, “Ah, Arigatou Gozaimasu!” Mika thanked him, “Hmm, you’re a lot cuter up front, hihihihihi” he said and it made Mika slightly blushed “I’m Jun by the way, one of the waiter here” Jun said as he flashed a smile at Mika, suddenly
“What did I tell you before (-_-)” Syuu said as he suddenly pinched Jun’s ear, “O-ouch! Boss, it hurts (T__T)” Jun cried, “Sheesh, you should really stop hitting on our customers Jun!” a girl waitress proclaimed, “Uh?” Mika wondered as she turned to them
“Sorry if this idiot disturbed you Mika-chan” said Syuu, “I...It’s okay, really... (||n_n)” said Mika, “So you’re name is Mika-chan, well it’s nice to meet you!” said Jun as he was struggling the pain that Syuu was giving him, “T...Takashi-kun, I think that’s enough already” she said, “Hmm...” Syuu said then he released Jun’s ear, “Thank You!! TT__TT” Jun proclaimed, “Ehe (^_^||)” said Mika, “I think you should’ve torn his ear off boss” the other girl said, “Uh?” Mika said as she wondered who the girl was; the girl noticed it and she decided to introduce herself to Mika
“Konnichiwa, my name is Ami and I work here at the Black and White Café, I hope you’ll enjoy it here ^^” she said, “Uh, I’m Ootori Mika, nice to meet you!” Mika replied and Ami smiled at her, “Okay enough fooling around. Everyone get back to your stations!” Syuu proclaimed in an angry voice and the three (Hana, Ami and Jun) went back to their stations.
Syuu released a sigh and he faced Mika, “I’m sorry if Jun ever bothered you” he said, “It’s fine ^^ besides, I think he was just being friendly” said Mika “Heh, well he may be like that but he’s one responsible guy” said Syuu and Mika smiled at them as she saw them working.
“This is the best day ever...” she said, “Uh?” Syuu wondered as he turned to her
“I get to go to the Amusement Park, then come to an amazing Coffee Shop and meet them, and of course...” Mika said as she faced Syuu “Uh?” Syuu wondered, “I’ve met a new friend! Thanks for showing me around Takashi-kun ^^” she added, Syuu slightly blushed and said “Takashi-kun sounds awkward... you can call me Syuu if you want”
“Okay... Syuu-nii ^^” said Mika
“Syuu-nii... heh” Syuu said as he smirked and looked at Mika’s happy face.
-END of FLASHBACK-
“Hmm, I can’t believe it’s been three years already” Mika said as she and Syuu sat on the bench, “I know” Syuu replied, “I actually forgot about you being weak when it comes to rides *laughs* but you were pretty brave a while ago...” Mika said as she faced Syuu, “Heh, I did a little practice” said Syuu and Mika smiled at him, then...
“Uh, what time is it?” she asked, “It’s 4:00PM” Syuu replied, “Oh no, I better go give the Music Video to Tanaka-san, I’ll see you later at the Coffee Shop Syuu-nii!” Mika proclaimed as she was on her way out, “Uh, okay... take care...” said Syuu
When Mika was already out of sight, Syuu looked at the sky and he suddenly smiled...
“Mika, I’m glad you and I went out today... here’s to 3 years of friendship... ^^” he said to himself.
