Chapter 28      “I said that we were only talking” Sojin sighed for the nth time, tiredly rubbing her eyes. Baekhyun had been in the kitchen with her for the past twenty minutes after Jackson left. The boy had been bombarding Sojin with questions and Sojin was really tired of it. Now she knew how Jae Wook felt when she bombarded him with questions.      “Then why were you blushing? Did the freak kiss you?” Baekhyun raised a brow, taking a step closer to Sojin, who was already leaning against the dining table while Baekhyun stood right in front of her with crossed arms.      “It was stuffy and hot inside, okay?” Sojin snapped back at Baekhyun. “You can’t just get red because of something like that. I bet you’re trying to hide the fact that two of you actually did something” Baekhyun stated, titling his head.      “You’re being very immature right now, you know?” Sojin said seriously but Baekhyun scoffed, as if it was pathetic of her to say that. “Oh, look who’s talking. You’re probably very mature by hiding things from me” Baekhyun said with sarcasm.      And that was the point Sojin could reach in her patience. Her anger burst out and she grabbed Baekhyun by the collar, slamming him very harshly against the wall, making sure that it hurt him. “Why are you trying to stick your nose into my damn business? What does it have to do with you if I kiss the hell out of him? Who are you to tell me what to do and what not?!” Sojin snapped angrily and Baekhyun fell quiet.      His head hurt like hell because it was hit against the damn wall but he didn’t focus on the pain at all, instead, he focused on the pain that suddenly shot inside of him. In his heart.      He was so surprised Sojin snapped at him like that because it never happened. She had yelled at him a few times because he was childish but it never reached the point where he sensed so much anger and even... hatred. Sojin had had enough of Baekhyun’s childishness. She was fine with it before but he passed the damn line.      More than anyone, Baekhyun knew how she hated people sticking their god damn noses into her business. And Sojin was so frustrated that no matter how much she rubbed it into his face, he’d just never listen.      Baekhyun was about to open his mouth with hesitation but Sojin was a step faster. “You know, I thought you’d understand me. I thought that you’d ing trust me in such situations. Why can’t you believe me no matter what I tell you? Why is it always me trusting and accepting you and never the other way around?!” Baekhyun trembled as he saw tears slipping down Sojin’s face.      “Sojin... I-I...” Baekhyun uttered, unable to form any words as he saw Sojin’s tears drop down. Her hold on the collar of his shirt was still tight and Sojin felt like she was holding onto it as if her life depended on it. She really wanted Baekhyun to understand how she feels. And she wants him to accept it, not brag about it like a jerk.      “I’m really disappointed. I don’t think I’ve ever been this diappointed about you, Byun Baekhyun” she said as she wiped her tears, her gaze returning to the firm one. She slammed him once again against the wall and let go of his collar, turning to walk away.      When she walked into the living room, everyone was looking at her with surprise as if she was some alien and she sighed, sitting down on the single armchair in front of everyone. It was clear and obvious that everyone had heard Sojin’s outburst a few seconds ago but she made no attempt to talk about it.      “Let’s go. Jiyoung and Taehyung will lead the way sine you have the address and the guard team will be right behind them, okay?” Sojin said and everyone nodded, standing up to go.
