Chapter 27      Sojin had demanded Jiyoung and Taehyung to search for any tracks of Mrs. Choi because she didn’t want to let her chance, to get something out of her, slip by. The other members were either installing security electronics outside in the garden or resting in their rooms. It was an exhausting day for everyone, Sojin knew. But more than anyone, she was the most exhausted, trying to get answers from the one and only Jae Wook.      Sojin had him locked up inside her room, her glaring at him with anger. The male wasn’t planning to spill anything out and that really pissed Sojin off even more. Sojin had gone to the extend where she tried to hurt him but no matter how much she tried, she couldn’t bring herself to do that just because of her curiosity.      “Jae Wook....please” Sojin pleaded, sighing heavily. She was almost going to give up, seeing how stubborn the male was. But she didn’t. She had to do this and the least she could do was to sort out why he was lying not only to her but to the whole guild.      “Why did you lie to me?” Sojin didn’t try to sound hurt because she actually was hurt. Jae Wook shifted his position as he was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking at Sojin, who was sitting on the bed opposite him. His gaze fell upon her eyes and he gulped.       At this point, he didn’t feel the shivers he had felt the minute Sojin glared at him a few minutes ago. Instead, he felt guilty. Guilty for lying to her and not telling her the truth or at least why he lied. “Why did you tell me you killed your whole family when Choi and that bastard claim that they know you. And you even admitted it” Sojin raised a brow, looking at Jae Wook with confusion.      The only thing Jae Wook returned to her was a sigh. A very long sigh. “Damn, Jae Wook!” Sojin was practically yelling at this point. She was frustrated and she couldn’t understand him at all. Why was he acting like a freaking jerk? Jae Wook was about to tell her how he wouldn’t tell anything so she was only wasting her time but Sojin was a step ahead of him.      Jae Wook didn’t know where it was coming from but he was suddenly pushed down on the bed, Sojin hovering above him, sitting on his lap. Her eyes pierced through his, showing so much aggressiveness that shivers ran down Jae Wook’s spine again. He never saw this side of Sojin and he would be lying if he said that he wasn’t a little bit afraid.      “Spill it the out! Tell me!” she yelled into his face and he widened his eyes, seeing as Sojin’s eyes suddenly started to change into a light blue color. This was a side effect from turning onto the nine-tailed fox. Though Jae Wook was sure she was still far from turning, the aura he felt around her made him think she could turn any minute.      “I...lied” Jae Wook whispered, looking to the side to avoid her harsh gaze. But Sojin grabbed his chin and made him look back into her eyes as she said through gritted teeth, “About what? And why?”. “About killing my parents...b-because it’s...a long story” he uttered and Sojin couldn’t help but smirk at how his trembling was slowly showing.
