Chapter 26      “You’re not supposed to talk like that to your older brother, Jae” the other male hissed, earning a scoff from Jae Wook. Sojin, who was just behind the male widened her eyes, realising what the real relationship between the two males. Jae Wook never mention him having a brother but this situation proved her that he indeed has one. Though Sojin could take only a peek at the other male, Sojin could see the very familiar features that resembled Jae Wook’s. But how did the relationship of these two siblings turn out like this?      “You’re not my brother” Jae Wook glared daggers at the other male, who just shrugged it off. Sojin had never felt so much tension between anyone before. This was the very first time Sojin felt shivers run down her spine just by watching two males ‘looking’ at one another.     Jae Wook’s hold around Sojin’s wrist started to tighten but Sojin ignored the pain he was causing. Instead, she tried to calm him down by putting a hand on his shoulder. The male felt her hand on his shoulder but made no attempt to look at Sojin through his shoulder because he knew the male in front of him could slip by in that short moment.      “Jae Wook, we don’t have time for this at the moment...we have to head back and help the other members” she whispered and he nodded gently. Jae Wook quickly ran out of the room but not before giving his so-called brother one last glare.     Downstairs, they spotted Sehun standing calmly in front of a bunch of guards, who seemed to receive quite the beating. “Sehun, we have to head back right now” Sojin said and it took only that for Sehun to nod and leave with the two of them. The guards didn’t even try to stop them because they’re energy was literally drained out.      “What happened” Sehun asked with his calm, quiet voice while running down the stairs with Sojin and Jae Wook. Sojin jumped from the last five stairs and sighed before looking at Sehun, “They attacked our mansion” it took only that for Sehun to understand and he immediately called for Sora and Dal that were outside, finished with beating up the ugly demons.      They’re small group ran as fast as possible but they knew it wouldn’t be any time soon since the distance was quite large. Sojin was running when suddenly she felt herself being lifted up and she ended up on Dal’s back. Sojin looked back with a questioning look and realized it was Sehun who had just lifted her up.      “We might not make it in time at this rate... The only way to make it is for you to ride home on Dal’s back. We’ll be there after a while” Jae Wook said and Sojin nodded before signalling Dal to dash forward without looking back.      Sojin didn’t hop off Dal even when they were inside the garden. It was because she knew what Dal was up to. Jumping up, Dal aimed right at the large glass window that lead straight to the living room. Sojin shot blue flame forward, making the glass break into pieces so that they could pass through. Sojin made sure to make the glass pieces fly away in another direction so that they couldn’t hurt Dal nor her.      It was awfully quiet inside the living room and Soji knew immediately that something was off. Dal suddenly made a small whine and Sojin knew immediately that he caught scent of her guild members somewhere near. Sojin didn’t go with Dal, instead, she sent Dal to go on his own.      Sojin had caught presence of someone unfamiliar somewhere very close. “You , come out” Sojin growled as she shot a blue fire ball towards one of the statues that was in the corner of the room. As Sojin expected, there was a person standing just behind the statue that was blown to pieces by Sojin. Sojin wasn’t surprised to see a female in her mid forties.      “That is how you welcome-” The woman’s little speech was cut short when Sojin spoke up, hatred filling her voice “Stop saying bull and tell me why you’re doing all this”. The woman was indeed taken aback but only shrugged her rude attitude off, smiling.      “I’ll take that as your greeting? Let’s sit down and-” this time, Sojin didn’t just stand there and listen to her crap. Sojin quickly dashed forward with the fastest pace she could and in the blink of an eye, the woman was pinned against the wall, which cracked a little due to the impact.      “Do you I look like I want to have a tea party with you?” she asked through gritted teeth as she pressed the other harder and further into the hard wall.
