I waited impatiently in the living room in the EXO dorm. He should be here any second now.

Just as the thought left my mind the front door clicked open and in stepped a tired Kai.

I smiled warmly when he saw me.

“You’re here. How was practice?”

“Get out.” His voice was laced with acid.

“No way Jongin, we need to talk and I am not leaving until you listen to me.”

Kai stepped closer to me. “I SAID GET OUT!” he yelled

I flinched slightly at his tone. I still wasn’t used to him angrily talking to me. I composed myself and stood bravely. “I said no. now listen to me and then I’ll leave.”

Kai sighed in frustration. “Fine,” he murmured “Explain.”

I started

“The guy you saw was my friend from America. He’s like a brother to me. I would never ever date him or cheat on you Kai.”

“So why did he kiss you?” Kai asked, his anger seemed to lessen into a timid tone.

“He was thanking me for getting him a job at the After School Club.”

“By kissing you?”

“That’s a way American’s say thanks.”

Kai stepped closer to me.

“Please tell me you are telling the truth.” He pleaded

“Jongin I am telling the truth. I don’t want to lose an amazing boyfriend like you.”

Kai turned away from me and passed his hand through his hair.

“it didn’t seem like that when you were completely ignoring me. do you know how it felt.” Kai’s voice fell soft.

“Kai…”

“it felt like ing hell Rose.” He turned to me, eyes red and filled with tears. “I kept asking myself
