That morning I stood by Rose’s apartment door. I was nervous to knock and see her. What if I get overly mad and argue with her over some message and we break up.

I took a deep breath and knocked. Within seconds she opened the door and smiled at me.

“Good morning.” She yawned and she rubbed her tired eyes.

I looked down at her. She was wearing one of the home shirts I left at her place for sleepovers and cute pink underwear. “Cute outfit.” I said as I planted a kiss on her cheek.

The thought of the message left my brain the moment I saw her wearing my shirt. She had a way of making me forget everything when I see her.

“Where’s my phone?” she asked as she noticed my empty hands.

“Did you think I would give you it without a catch?”

She groaned and lay down on the sofa.

“Kai, I don’t have time for this. It’s my day off and I want to sleep.”

“Perfect. Since it’s your day off and I don’t have a schedule until later, let’s go out.” 

“I don’t want to. I have work to do still.” She walked over to the kitchen and started to make a cup of tea.

“Come on Rosy, we didn’t do couple stuff for a while.” I said as I followed her in the kitchen,
