Isn't it sad?

How stupid can people be? 

We think we know

We think we understand 

But the truth is 

that we don't 

We get it when it's too late

When we can't do anything 

And you know what happens then?

We regret 

We suffer 

And watch 

Watch them being happy

Happy with someone else

And we just remain in their past

Just ghosts that they will soon forget

Once loved, but not anymore

Our hearts turn cold 

Our souls die

The thing that stays is our memory 

And keeps remainding us

Ther moments when we were happy

The moments when we were loved

But then we remember the reality 

We look around 

We are all alone 

Once loved 

Why didn't we realize on time? 

Why didn't we see? 

How stupid can people be? 

Isn't it sad?
