"

“Fold if you are in love with someone now,” said Soo Hyun seriously.

Shin Hye pursed her lips and thought hard but after a while she folded one finger. The two of them looked at her in surprise.

“Heol daebak,” said Geun Seuk breaking the silence.

He closed his mouth with his hand and quickly looked at Soo Hyun who had his head down dejectedly. Please stay strong Soo Hyun. I know how much you must be hurting right now.

He turned to Shin Hye and saw that she too had turned to look at Soo Hyun. He put his hand around her shoulder and turned her away from Soo Hyun.

“Argghhh I am tired. Let’s stop playing now,” yawned Geun Seuk dramatically.

Shin Hye just shrugged her shoulder.  She turned to look at Soo Hyun who was sitting quietly in the corner drinking soju.

“Shin Hye, how’s school?” he asked trying to distract Shin Hye.

“Err….I still don't have that many assignments yet so it’s okay so far. How’s Japan?” 

“Japan is great. I love it there but here is where home is. I missed Seoul and can’t wait to return. Most of all I missed my family,” he said sadly.

“Gomawo Hye-nie for visiting my mom and dad frequently. I appreciated that,” his mom would often called him after her visits.

“It’s okay. I love visiting abonim and omonim. Your mom helped me a lot with my flower arrangement,” she knew how lonely his parents were with him being away all the time. She liked his mom who treated her like her very own daughter.

“And I know you also do the same with my parents when I am away,” she smiled at him.

“Of course. You know that I only did it so that I could get free lunch and dinner,” he joked.

“Soo Hyun oppa are you okay?” she was worried seeing how quiet he had become.

I wonder what’s bothering him. She also noticed that he had been drinking soju non-stop.

“Hye-nie, he’s okay. Don’t mind him. Let’s go,” he pulled Soo Hyun up and turned to Shin Hye, “do you want me to drop you off?”

“Aniyo I will go home with appa after I help close up,” She looked at Soo Hyun who was looking at her with this sad look in his eyes.

“Is everything alright?” she asked again standing next to him holding his arm.

Soo Hyun stared at her for a long time and then he pulled her in a tight embrace. “Kyahhh,” she yelled in shocked. He embraced her tightly and as she was about to break free, his hug softens and she could felt his warmth tenderness. She stopped moving and just as quickly he let go and walked out of the room. Geun Seuk tapped her lightly on her shoulder and waved goodbye.

“Yo! Soo Hyun give me the car keys,” he shouted walking quickly trying to catch up to Soo Hyun.

Shin Hye stood there frozen then ran to the back door to where Soo Hyun’s car was parked hoping that they had not left yet. She just got out when she saw Geun Seuk driving off. She took out her phone and texted him.

Shin Hye: Text me once you are home. Drive carefully.

The moment she reached home, Shin Hye sent several texts to Min Ho.

Shin Hye: Good night.

Shin Hye: I missed you.

Shin Hye: I love you.

She waited for a reply and when she still didn't get a text back. She sent one more text.

Shin Hye: Are you asleep?

Her phone rang instantly.

“Hi,” she said cheerfully.

“Wae?” she heard the huskiness in his voice and felt guilty about waking him up.

“Mian did I wake you?” she asked.

“Mmm yeah I just had an amazing dream about my girl,” he replied.

“What dream?” she smiled.

“A dream about you and me and it involves a lot of kissing and…..” he chuckled.

“And??? I bet it’s good,” she felt like teasing him back.

“Are you drunk? Did you drink a lot?” he asked surprised with her unexpected playfulness.

“Mmm aniyo….I think I only had 2 glasses of soju,” she replied.

“You are in a good mood,” he didn't want to sound it but he was a bit jealous hearing how happy she was after meeting Geun Seuk and Soo Hyun.

“Yes. Today is a good day. I get to hang out with my best friends and now I get to talk to my boyfriend,” she uttered.

“Really?” he asked. 

“Yes. He is going to tell me he missed me like crazy and that he loves me very much,” she told him.

“I missed you very much and I love you like crazy,” he echoed.

“Hehehe not exactly but I will take it,” She giggled.

“I really missed being with you. How’s your schedule like this week?” he wondered if they could find time to meet this week.
