II Woo is right. I need to talk to her.

He took out his phone and called Shin Hye.

“Yoboseyo” she answered happily.

“Mian. I was really busy. Odie?” He asked.

“At home. Wae?” she replied happily, “Are you in Korea now?”

“Neh. Can we meet?” He waited for her reply.

“Okay. Text me when you are here,” He heard the happiness in her voice and felt at ease.

“K. I will be there in an hour,” He smiled widely at the thought of seeing her again. He had missed her terribly.

“Neh. Drive carefully,” she said before ending the call.

She went to her walk-in closet to change. She couldn't decide what to wear. She pursed her lips and thought hard. Seeing that the weather had gotten colder, she opted for something warm and comfortable. She wore the white sweater that she got from her parents and the white and pink crochet beanie from her brother. She heard her phone beeped and saw the text from Min Ho telling her that he was waiting downstairs. She quickly took the present that she had prepared for him and went out to meet him.

“You’re here,” she was delighted to see him and her eyes lit up in happiness when she saw him.

“Hi” He uttered and kissed her hand.

“Hi” She answered back looking back at him. She held his gaze for a while before looking down embarrassed. He smiled happily. He loved how shy she gets sometimes with him. He gently caressed her red cheeks and she looked up in surprise when he did that.

“Omo kyeoptta. Your cheeks got so red,” he and laughed when she hit him in retaliation to his teasing.

“Apo,” he grumbled cutely at her.

“Yaah,” she hit him back harder and covered her face with both of her hands. 

Min Ho stopped the car when they reached their destination. Shin Hye looked out and saw that he had driven them to a hill somewhere and below them was the view of the city at night.

“Waaahhhh so beautiful,” she exclaimed looking at the view, “Oppa you come here a lot?”

“Ani..this is my second time here. I came here once for a shoot, “ he replied, “but I loved the view and vowed that when I have a girlfriend I will take her here,” 

She looked at him and chuckled.

“I never figured you as a hopeless romantic,” She said shaking her head at him which caused him to burst into laughter.

Shin Hye laughed and they both turned to the front and looked at the view again. Snow had started to fall. It was truly a beautiful sight.

After a while soaking in the view, Shin Hye took the present that she had prepared and gave it to him.

“Oppa Merry Christmas," 

Min Ho opened the box and took out the knitted scarf and tried it on. He looked at himself in the car mirror.

“Gomawo. You knitted this right?” he asked looking at the scarf carefully.

“Neh” she answered, “I know it’s not perfect but I hoped you like it.”

“Ani…It’s perfect,” He loved it especially knowing that Shin Hye spent hours knitting it herself. He looked in the box and saw the note that she had written.

I know that we have only been together for a few months now but

The times that we spent together are precious memories for me,

You always make me laugh for no reason whatsoever

Whenever I am feeling down you are always there to make me feel better

When I’m tired, hearing your voice at then end of the day gave me strength

Let’s us build more memories and stay together for a long time.

He was so touched by what she had written. He looked at her tenderly.

“Baby I-I feel the same way too,” he confessed.

“Neh,” She beamed.

“Where's my gift?” She asked putting out her hands.

“What?” He was surprised by her question.

“My gift?” she repeated.

“Didn't you get it?” He wondered if the security guard had forgotten to deliver the gift to her house. She shook her head.

“Did you deliver it to me?” She asked surprised.

“Neh to your house during Christmas,” he explained.

“Ahhh,” she nodded her head.

 “Mian I remember now. It’s at home. I haven’t open it yet,” she looked at him sadly. She bit her lower lip trying hard not to burst out in laughter.

“Owh,” He could only uttered.

She laughed seeing how flustered he was. She was about to confess when he interrupted her.

“What do you want for now?” he asked. “I will give you anything you want.”

“Er mmm,” she pretended to think hard, “let’s spend new year together.”

“Okay. Let’s do that,” he exclaimed.

“Promise?” she demanded excitedly. 

“Promise,” he was determined to keep this promise.

He was going to make sure his manager keep that day free for him. He looked at Shin Hye who was still looking out at the view outside. His gaze lingered at her and he picked up the courage to ask her what was on his mind.

“Shin Hye what did you do during Christmas?” He finally asked.

“Yesterday? I went to church with my family and met my friend there and then we went exploring and ate this delicious Jjukkumi Bokkeum. It was so yummy oppa. L
