(YJ) - Young Jae speaking
(DH) - Daehyun speaking

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No matter where he looked, there just didn’t seem to be any sort of answers as to how he ended up in this town. The only thing he could assume was that the second he entered the room, he had already been transported or something along those lines. If that was the case, then all the time and energy he was putting into trying to find his answers were basically meaningless at this point. So then, why was he still searching?!

Despite already knowing and telling himself time and time again that this head of his made little to no sense, he couldn’t help but continue to try and make sense of everything thrown at him. It was frustrating, but there was nothing he could do about it. After all, this was just how he was and it was rather difficult to change his way of thinking after about twenty something years of being like this.

In an attempt to keep himself from losing his mind from trying to find an answer that would never show itself, Young Jae decided to pay closer attention to the town itself. The town itself reminded him of the buildings that had been built possibly during the seventeen hundreds. Whether this type of architecture was in Italy, France, England, or any other European country, he wasn’t sure. He couldn’t entirely say since history wasn’t exactly one of his strongest subjects, but it was definitely a town that had architecture that wasn’t in place anymore. Even with that being the case, Young Jae quite liked the way that the buildings had been built. What did strike him as odd, though, was the unusually high walls that surrounded the town. It was customary for a kingdom during the Medieval era to have high walls since it was to protect the King, but it was rare that a normal looking town would have walls as well. Well, it wasn’t rare, but a town like this wouldn’t have walls that were far taller than itself. Of course, he was also a bit surprised that this town seemed to have things that were quite up to date with whatever they currently had for sale. Ranging from clothing to electronics, everything was definitely keeping up with the current trends that the world had to offer.

“Hey. Are you hungry? Let’s go have a romantic lunch, then we can go dancing. How does that sound?” (DH) Young Jae stopped walking, causing Daehyun to have to stop as well before turning to face him in confusion. Did Daehyun really suggest.. dancing? Of all things to do in a town like this, Daehyun suggested dancing?! That was just complete and utter insanity! Why would Young Jae ever want to go dancing?! Dancing was definitely one of many things that he most definitely NEVER wanted to do! He did not mind watching people dance nor did he mind walking past people as they danced, but he will not EVER be caught dancing out in public! “Are you alright? Why’d you stop walking?” (DH)

“I simply refuse to go dancing. Think of something else or else the date’s over.” (YJ) Folding his arms, Young Jae refused to listen to whatever Daehyun had to say as he began walking. No matter how much Daehyun begged or pleaded to go dancing, Young Jae refused to do such a thing. Okay, there may have been a few instances where he has gone dancing, but circumstances were very different during those moments! Either way, Young Jae did not want to go dancing. End of story.

“Then.. How about we take a walk in the park?” (DH) A walk in the park? Well.. at least it did not have anything to do with dancing. Why did he have an unnecessarily large dislike for dancing anyway? Well, that did not matter for the time being. What did matter was that at least Daehyun was trying his best to come up with something that wasn’t relevant to dancing out in public. “I heard that there’s a garden we could walk through with various types of flowers growing in there. Should I get you a bouquet of roses?” (DH)

“We can go to the park, but.. I would prefer that you.. surprise me, I suppose. I don’t really have any use for flowers at the moment, but.. it is entirely your choice.” (YJ) Young Jae didn’t really know if receiving a bouquet of flowers would be beneficial to him in any sort of way. Sure, they were nice to look at and all, but then he would be left with having to carry the bouquet with him everywhere they went. Plus, assuming these roses still had thorns on them, then they could potentially end up pricking him. Did he want to end up bleeding because of a supposedly romantic gesture? Not really, but it still boiled down to whatever Daehyun's decision would be. As long as the bouquet did not have thorns on them, then he did not mind receiving the bouquet.

“Okay. I’ll surprise you. Let’s get lunch first then.” (DH) Taking hold of Young Jae’s hand, Daehyun gave his hand a light squeeze before walking side by side with him. Young Jae wasn’t entirely certain how to feel about this situation, but as long as this Daehyun didn’t try anything with him, then it should be fine. So what if this Daehyun was acting just like the real one? It’s not like he was going to fall for him all that easily. “Do you want to go shopping? I’ll buy you anything you want.” (DH)

Young Jae looked at Daehyun, slightly confused at first before looking forward once more. Didn’t this Daehyun already know that no material goods in this head of his meant anything to him? After all, this was all fake. None of it was real and thus, it shouldn’t matter what he ended up receiving. Then again, he might as well just go along with what Daehyun had planned for the time being. Since Daehyun wanted this date, might as well just play along and see what Daehyun had planned for them. “Okay.. Fine. Let’s go shopping after we walk through the park. If you plan to get me a bouquet, wait until after the date’s over, alright?” (YJ)

“Okay.” (DH) With a grin, Daehyun leaned in and gleefully kissed Young Jae’s cheek before they continued to walk along. The restaurant that Daehyun was planning to head to should be nearby, but he wasn’t entirely certain that Young Jae would like the restaurant. He could only hope that it would turn out well since the restaurant at least looked nice and from what he’s heard from various sources, the restaurant served quality food.

It was all a matter of whether the restaurant would impress Young Jae or not.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Here we are! What do you think?” (DH) Taking a look around, Young Jae examined as much of the restaurant as he could. It had a medieval type of feeling to it. It had the swords and shields up on the walls, the various paintings of knights and various banners as well. The tables were all wooden, looking just like types of tables that had been hammered together plank by plank. The chairs were built in a similar fashion as well as the counters. Even the employees were dressed up in clothing from that century, though Young Jae really hoped that they didn’t speak in a certain accent as well. If that was the case, then Young Jae was certain that this was a trial of some sort to test his patience.

“It’s.. interesting enough as it is. As long as they have excellent food and service, then I guess it would have to suffice.” (YJ) Daehyun was glad to hear that Young Jae was willing to at least give the place a chance. Sure, this was also his first time at this restaurant, but Daehyun was certain that Young Jae would like this place. As long as nothing happened that would end up upsetting Young Jae, then everything should be fine. Of course, that’s usually the case for most people anyway.

Once they were seated, Young Jae took the time to thoroughly examine and judge the menu. Could he help it? He needed to test and see what his mind knew because apparently, there have been plenty of occasions where his mind has surprised him. Though, the more he looked through the choices, the less impressed he was by it. For some odd reason, Young Jae had expected there to be outrageous options like stuffed rat or pickled crows feet. Why was he expecting such choices? Well, for one, his mind was just throwing all sorts of oddities at him. As for the second reason, well, this was something he expected from the medieval era for some odd reason. “Is there anything you wanna get so far?” (DH)

“I guess the potato stew sounds appetizing..” (YJ) Assuming that this restaurant was going to keep with the medieval theme, then Young Jae doubted that they would have rice. He couldn’t necessarily recall when rice had been introduced to Europe, but a history lesson wasn’t all that important for the moment. As long as he at least got some bread from all of this, then he didn’t mind not having rice.

Speaking of bread, the second that thought crossed his mind, the waitress came by and dropped off a basket of bread. After the waitress got their orders and had gone to go register the order, Young Jae looked down at the bread and the small cup of butter that had been neatly placed within the basket. Reaching forward, he quickly pulled the basket of bread towards himself before pulling out his butter knife from the neatly wrapped up utensils. Looking up at Daehyun, he pointed the knife at Daehyun before pointing at the basket. “Do you want one?” (YJ)

“Yes please!” (DH) As always, the mention and offer of food never fails to perk Daehyun up. Even if Daehyun was at the peak of happiness, food just seems to always double that happiness. It was and wasn’t weird, but Young Jae had gotten quite used to it at this point. “Can I have the one in the middle?” (DH)

Young Jae looked down at the bread before his eyes spotted the bread that Daehyun had requested. Of course Daehyun would request the biggest one out of many selections. What else would Daehyun pick? The second that thought crossed his mind, erse thoughts seemed to invade his head as his face began to heat up. Shaking his head a bit, Young Jae quickly grabbed the requested bread as he kept his head down. Daehyun looked at Young Jae with a bit of confusion, but that confusion passed as he smiled, happily watching as Young Jae smeared the butter on the bread. Once Young Jae held the bread out, Daehyun took hold of it as he held his smile. “Thanks, Young Jae!” (DH)

“Yeah yeah.. Don’t get too excited..” (YJ) Either it was because he was ually deprived or he was just a natural ert, which he doubted, but he needed to somehow keep his thoughts in check. Though, he found it a little weird that he was technically thinking inside of his own head. Would it be possible for him to manipulate the dream, even if it was a minor change? It was certainly possible when sleeping, so he didn’t see why it couldn’t work while he was in a coma. What did he have to lose? “Hey.. Daehyun?” (YJ)

“Hm?” (DH) Young Jae narrowed his eyelids and tilted his head down a bit as he focused heavily on Daehyun. Daehyun felt a bit awkward with Young Jae’s intense staring, trying his best to eat his bread without feeling like he was being judged. Second upon second ticked by as Young Jae tried his best to concentrate. After a large amount of time had passed, Young Jae finally let out an annoyed sigh as he sat back in his seat. Well, there went that idea. At least he experimented and ended up with some sort of results. Sure, the results ended up as a failure, but it was better than trying to figure it out at a crucial point. Who knows what could have gone wrong if he had been standing there, staring at something while hoping that something would appear? “Aren’t you going to eat some bread too?” (DH)

Looking back down at the bread basket, Young Jae took a moment to think. He could either eat the bread now and then they could possibly end up getting more bread, or he could wait until his food arrived so that he could eat the bread with it. Of course, since this was all in his head, he technically didn’t need to eat, so it didn’t really matter what his choice was. “Hey. I got you a present. Do you wanna know what it is?” (DH)

“Present..?” (YJ) There wasn’t really much reason to get him a present, but if that’s what Daehyun wanted to do, then he didn’t really mind. Plus, it had piqued his interest a bit, so he couldn’t help but want to know what Daehyun got him. Moving his chair a bit closer to the table, Young Jae watched as Daehyun rummaged through his pockets before pulling out a small box. Daehyun had that usual grin on his face, showing just how happy he was as he teased Young Jae a bit by opening, then closing the box.

“Ah.. Do you really want to see it?” (DH)

“Just open the damn thing already! I want to see..” (YJ) Daehyun chuckled a bit as he teasingly opened the box at a slow rate. Young Jae was getting rather impatient, but because it was Daehyun, he decided to put up with the nonsense that Daehyun was pulling at the moment. Luckily, it didn’t take much longer before Daehyun finally opened the box all the way. Inside of the box was not one, but two necklaces. However, he was rather certain that these necklaces were more for... people that were still going through their adolescence. “And this is...?” (YJ)

“They’re couple necklaces! I got one for me and one for you.” (DH) As Young Jae’s eyebrows furrowed, he watched as Daehyun pulled the necklaces out from the box. Folding his arms, Young Jae leaned back in his seat as Daehyun held a necklace in each hand as he held them up to either side of his head, showing off those pearly whites of his. Young Jae knew that Daehyun was trying to get him to like them, but it was rather difficult when they were cartoon characters holding hearts. “Aren’t they cute? They’re supposed to be us.” (DH)

Wait... what..? Those things, those... cartoon characters, are supposed to be... them? Young Jae leaned forward a bit, his eyes trying their best to examine as much of the characters as possible in an attempt to identify which one was which. Was this a joke? There was no way that these characters could possibly be them! Just because they looked slightly similar to them in terms of hair, eye color, and possibly even lips, Young Jae refused to believe that these characters were to represent them in any way, shape, or form. “Which one do you want? Do you want me or you?” (DH)

“Just give me you..” (YJ) That sounded very strange in his head, but he dismissed the thought as Daehyun handed over the necklace that was supposed to represent him. Once in his hands, Young Jae’s right brow twitched once again as he stared down at the thing. He wasn’t about to admit how cute it was seeing a cartoon version of Daehyun sleeping while hugging half of a heart. Nope. There was just nothing cute about it. He didn’t care about the fact that if they connected the necklaces, then it would form a full heart that they were both hugging nor did he care about the fact that the cartoon character seemed to hold a cute smile of sorts despite looking as if he was asleep. With a sigh though, he was about to pocket the necklace when suddenly, someone picked it up from his grasp. Looking up, he quickly spotted Daehyun smiling as he undid the clasp on the chain before putting the necklace delicately around Young Jae’s neck. He sighed as he looked forward once more, waiting patiently for Daehyun to finish up with the clasp before finally sitting back down in his seat. Had he said anything about wanting to put on this necklace? Had he said anything about even wanting to keep such a thing? Well, it was too late to back out of it now. He was stuck with it at this point, but at least he didn’t have to worry about anyone he knew finding out about the necklace. “I.. appreciate your help... I guess..” (YJ)

“You’re welcome.” (DH) While Daehyun grinned happily at his seat, Young Jae folded his arms as he leaned back in his chair. Why was Daehyun so happy about this? Young Jae wasn’t much of a materialistic person, so this necklace merely seemed like an unnecessary toy to him. However, just because he wasn’t all that fond of it didn’t mean that he was going to give it away to anyone whom asked for it.

For now.. he would just have to learn to appreciate this newly obtained gift.

About fifteen to twenty minutes had passed before their food arrived. While Daehyun ate like, well.. himself, Young Jae was thinking of other things as he absentmindedly ate. Why was it really not an option for him to create some sort of item whenever he wished it? It would have been far more interesting if he could freely create whatever he wanted to out of thin air while he was in his own mind. Though, was this town really part of his own mind or was this place a creation from this Daehyun? Was that why this place seemed peaceful? It was interesting, but at the same time.. it felt like it was just delaying his chances of waking up. Sooner or later, he was going to have to end this date and move on to the next area.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Hey.” (DH) Just as Young Jae turned to face Daehyun, his eyes widened as he suddenly felt a pair of lips pressing against his. He blinked a few times, slight confusion and surprise intermingling a bit before Daehyun finally pulled away. Smiling, Daehyun took hold of Young Jae’s hand as he slightly swung their hands back and forth. “Are you looking forward to going to the park?” (DH)

Mumbling under his breath, Young Jae looked away as a bit of red crept up onto his cheeks. Why was he embarrassed by Daehyun kissing him? He technically should be used to Daehyun’s kisses by now, though was it because this Daehyun wasn’t the real one? It shouldn’t matter whether it was the real one or not. Since this is all in his head, then it shouldn’t bother him since technically, it would be considered a wet dre- NO It would NOT be considered that of all things! They were not having any sort of ! It was just a simple kiss on the lips, hands holding one another, and a date of sorts. Nothing else! Turning his head towards Daehyun, Young Jae narrowed his eyelids as he reached up and roughly poked Daehyun’s cheek. “You better not get any ideas. I do not plan to have any sort of with you. Do you understand me?” (YJ)

“..?” (DH) Daehyun would have turned his head to fully look at Young Jae, but Young Jae’s finger was keeping him from doing so. He didn’t necessarily understand why Young Jae brought up , but if that’s what he didn’t want to do, then Daehyun would respect that. He wasn’t exactly the type to force himself onto anyone after all. Plus, it was usually Young Jae whom initiated such things anyway.

“Understand?!” (YJ)

“O-Okay! I understand! Can you move your finger now?” (DH) Young Jae’s finger lingered for just a moment longer before pulling his hand away. Letting out a small sigh, Young Jae looked off to the side for a bit. Where were they going to anyway? He couldn’t recall if Daehyun had wanted to go shopping first or if he wanted to go to the park, but it would be a wise decision to go to the park first. “Hey.. Do you.. Just want to go home?” (DH)

“Hm..?” (YJ) Looking back at Daehyun, Young Jae blinked a few times before looking at Daehyun in confusion. Was he serious? They already had plans to go walking through a park to look at flowers and then to go shopping right after, but Daehyun had decided to ignore those plans and just go straight home?! What, did he want to go straight to bed and just let the bed rock as much as humanly possible?! Well, he wasn’t about to let that happen all that easily. Actually, he shouldn’t even technically let it happen at all! Dream Daehyun or not, it felt completely wrong to do such acts with the any of the dream Daehyun's! “Are you trying to ge-” (YJ)

“Before you finish that sentence, Young Jae.. I think it would be best if we skip the shopping. The park is already on the way back home, so it would be easier. What do you think?” (DH) Well, it made no difference if they skipped the shopping. Most likely, they wouldn’t have to pay for anything anyway just like in the previous worlds. Plus, it’s not like he would be able to actually keep any of the stuff that he obtained once he woke up from all of this.

“I would assume that it’s the best choice.. Alright. We’ll just go straight to the park then.” (YJ) Daehyun seemed to brighten up as a large grin instantly showed up on Daehyun’s face. What was so exciting about the park anyway? Sure, the town itself had quite lovely architecture and he wouldn’t mind actually living in a place like this, but he almost doubted that the park would be any better than any other park. Well, at least he would be able to go to a park. When was the last time he had gone to one?

As they followed the cobblestone pathway, Young Jae could finally see the tall black fence that was cutting off what he assumed was the park from the rest of the town. From his current position, the park seemed relatively big with quite a number of plants. There were a number of people there as well, not too much and not too little. It seemed like the park was at least a decent place to go to when one wanted to go for a stroll of some sort. Sadly, since he didn’t really know how the town itself was when it came to their crime rate, he couldn’t entirely come to a single conclusion about the place just yet. While he continued to think, Young Jae had unconsciously slipped his hand out of Daehyun’s hand in an attempt to fold his arms. However, the second he had done this, Daehyun had quickly grabbed Young Jae’s hand once more. Young Jae looked down at their hands before looking back up at Daehyun with a bit of an annoyed look on his face. “Don’t let go of my hand again, okay? I really love holding your hand like this..” (DH)

Daehyun raised their hands up as if to prove his point. Young Jae rolled his eyes a bit as he sighed. It probably would have sounded like a demand if Daehyun hadn’t added that okay at the end of his question. He probably wouldn’t have complied with Daehyun’s request, but he soon forgot about that idea as his eyes widened just a bit the second he felt a pair of lips softly kiss the back of his hand. Holding the kiss for two, maybe even three seconds, Daehyun pulled away as a warm smile showed up on his face. “Do you want to keep walking, or should we just stand around?” (DH)

“W.. What do you.. Let’s just keep moving..” (YJ) Young Jae’s face reddened a bit as the two began walking yet again. He really hadn’t expected Daehyun to have just kissed his hand like that. In a way, it almost felt as if it had been a long while since Daehyun has done something like that, but oddly enough, he kind of enjo- What was he thinking?! Enjoyed it?! How could anyone enjoy receiving a kiss on the back of their hand?! It wasn’t anything special nor did it have much benefits to it! Then again, receiving a kiss did not give anything beneficial to begin with. Why was he even trying to come up with benefits from receiving a kiss? It was nonsensical to continue thinking of such things! Why was he even embarrassed by all of this?! It was just because they were out in public despite being in a dream. That had to be the case, right? It would explain all the other times he’s been embarrassed, though.. he also doesn’t really understand why he keeps coming to the same conclusion time and time again.

Ceasing all thoughts of that topic, Young Jae shook his head a bit before letting out an annoyed sigh. His head was starting to hurt from this constant back and forth and he wished that he had the ability to not spontaneously start thinking about all of these things. Could he help it though? It was in his nature since his career practically required it from him. Plus, it just seemed like Daehyun, whether real or fake, had this ability to throw his mind into overdrive. One day, he would be able to control that, but until then, he was stuck with getting constant headaches. “The weather’s nice today, don’t you think?” (DH)

Pulling himself from his thoughts yet again, Young Jae looked around for a moment to see what Daehyun was babbling on about. Sure, the weather was nice and all, but he wasn’t much of an outdoor type to begin with. Still, at least it was something he could enjoy from time to time. “Yeah... I suppose the weather is decent for the time being..” (YJ)

“The next time the weather is like this, should we go to the beach?” (DH) Young Jae absentmindedly nodded his head as he found himself being lost in the soft breeze and the warm embrace of the sun’s rays. There have been a number of times when he’s actually enjoyed the weather, but it seemed to be more evident while in his own head. Whether his head was trying to tell him something or not, it seemed to have worked either way. Maybe he needed to spend a bit more time outside. Of course, once he wakes up, he’s going to be in a wheelchair for a while so that would definitely be the chance for him to attempt to enjoy the weather with Daehyun. “Young Jae?” (DH)

“Hm?” (YJ) As he slowly pulled himself from the weather, it took him a moment before he jumped back with surprise. He stared for a moment before realizing that the rose bush that he thought that he was going to walk into was actually... a bouquet. His eyes trailed down the bouquet and up the hand that held onto it before his eyes landed on a grinning Daehyun. When had he gotten a bouquet of roses?!

“I got you the bouquet like I promised. It was still a surprise, right?” (DH) Young Jae furrowed his eyebrows as he folded his arms and looked off to the side a bit. He hadn’t expected to be surprised this way, but that was his own fault for not paying attention. Of course.. he did have to admit, it was at least a nice surprise. Even though he wasn’t really the romantic type, he seemed to fall for it rather easily. “Do you.. like them..?” (DH)

“Why would I like a floral arrangement that nearly attacked my face..” (YJ) Of course, Young Jae wasn’t going to flat out admit to it right away. He was going to give Daehyun just a bit of a hard time first simply because he wanted to get back at him. Young Jae wasn’t exactly the type whom liked getting scared or surprised out of nowhere after all. Then again, the second he saw that frown on Daehyun’s face, Young Jae somewhat regretted his actions, but he wasn’t standing down just yet.

“Did you get hurt? I didn’t mean to-” (DH)

“Just give me the damn flowers already.” (YJ) Young Jae nearly snatched the bouquet out of Daehyun’s hands, but he quickly paused for a moment before just simply taking the bouquet into his hands. Pulling the bouquet close to his body, he fought back the urge to smile as he held the bouquet in one of his arms. Reaching up, he used his index finger and thumb to gently pinch and rub one of the petals. He loved the soft feel of a rose’s petals and he was relatively grateful that Daehyun had actually gotten him a bouquet of roses for him to touch during his free time. “Thank you.. For now. Don’t get used to it, okay?” (YJ)

“I’m glad you like them.” (DH) Daehyun smiled as he moved to Young Jae’s side before wrapping an arm around Young Jae’s waist. As they began walking again, Young Jae continued to absentmindedly feel what the petal had to offer him as he looked at Daehyun. This Daehyun really was acting like the real one and it was getting him just a wee bit too relaxed. He should have been on guard, ready to somehow save Daehyun when the problem arises, but this place was far too tranquil for him to expect anything. Feeling Young Jae’s gaze on him, Daehyun looked at Young Jae before grinning. “What is it?” (DH)

“Nothing. Can’t a man look at his husband and examine his facial features without there being any sort of motive behind it?” (YJ) He wasn’t really being serious with what had just been said, but judging by the look on Daehyun’s face, it seemed like Daehyun really was trying to figure out the answer to Young Jae’s question. With a small sigh, Young Jae slightly bumped Daehyun’s head with his own before resting it on Daehyun’s shoulder. “Don’t think about it.. Just make sure this walk is enjoyable. Understand?” (YJ)

“I’ll try my best.” (DH) Daehyun slid his hand down a bit, letting it rest on Young Jae’s hip instead of his waist. Young Jae raised a single brow as he briefly looked down at Daehyun’s hand, but merely shrugged it off as he continued to softly rub the tips of his index finger and thumb against one of the petals. Most likely, Daehyun didn’t mean anything by it, so why bother make a huge deal out of it? “I really love you a lot, Young Jae. You.. You won’t leave me, right?” (DH)

Leave him..? What did Daehyun mean by that? Since when had he ever decided to leave Daehyun? Where was this insecurity coming from, anyway? Well, it didn’t matter. Just put to rest Daehyun’s uncertainties and then maybe, he could move on to the next room already. They had spent quite enough time here as it was and Young Jae didn’t want to waste anymore time. “Yeah.. I won’t leave you. Now, let’s end the date so that I can finish my tasks, alright?” (YJ)

“What tasks?” (DH)

“To save all of these Daehyun’s and then wake up from this dream. You don’t remember..?” (YJ) Was this not the right Daehyun? Lifting his head, Young Jae looked at a slightly confused Daehyun. Now that he thought about it, the Daehyun back at the underwater building didn’t seem like the romantic type. Plus, this Daehyun looked just like Daehyun did before he fell into a coma. “Wait..” (YJ)

“You think.. this is all a dream..? You want to wake up from all of this..?” (DH) This wasn’t necessarily looking good. Judging by the look on Daehyun’s face, he seemed to be a bit hurt by Young Jae’s words. It was understandable since this Daehyun seemed to think that this was all a reality. Plus, there was also the fact that Young Jae had stated that he wanted to wake up from all of this, meaning that Daehyun could interpret it as him not being happy. “Are you.. really not that happy to be with me..?” (DH)

“Daehyun.. You don’t understand what I mean. This, ALL of this, is a dream. Apparently, you are one of seven Daehyun’s that I have to save and I didn’t realize that until now. So, let’s hurry on home where we’ll be safe and you won’t get into any trouble.” (YJ) That was a good thing to do, right? They just needed to survive the day and then, they wouldn’t have to worry about getting into any sort of danger. Though, it seemed like Daehyun wasn’t necessarily happy with Young Jae’s choice of words. That romantic and fuzzy feeling he had just mere moments ago seemed to have completely dissipated now as a sort of anger seemed to radiate from him.

“You’re right.. Let’s hurry home.” (DH) Young Jae would have let out a relieved sigh, but he soon let out a gasp as Daehyun suddenly lunged at him. His eyes widened as he felt a sharp sting on his arm. Looking down at his arm, he stared in disbelief as he saw a syringe in Daehyun’s hand. “I won’t EVER... let you leave me..” (DH)

“D-Dae..” (YJ) Young Jae stumbled backwards a bit as the bouquet threatened to slip from his grasp. He held his free hand up to where the syringe had been inserted, his vision beginning to blur as he stared at Daehyun. What.. exactly, just happened? His vision would constantly focus and unfocus itself as he struggled to keep himself from falling over. He could barely even feel Daehyun’s hands slowly sliding around him, his ears clearly hearing Daehyun as he placed a single finger up to his own lips.

“Shh.. Don’t fight it.. I’ll take good care of you. I’ll take care of you forever... because I love you.. so.. much..” (DH) Young Jae reached up, weakly grabbing Daehyun’s arm as he attempted to push him away. Sadly, Daehyun merely continued that hushing sound once more as he leaned forward and softly pressed his lips against Young Jae’s forehead. “Sleep.. alright? I’ll bring you home soon.” (DH)

Young Jae could feel himself being hoisted up before being slung over Daehyun’s shoulder. The bouquet was then pulled out of his grasp, but as Daehyun began walking, Young Jae didn’t see the bouquet anywhere on the ground. The world around him was slowly blacking out around him as he tried hard to stay conscious. Sadly, all he could hear in his head was Daehyun telling him that it was okay.

When he woke up, he was going to slap the back of Daehyun’s head for this..

Chapter 35: I love this story so much! I waited with Reading cause I was reading another fanfic, but I shouldn't have waited... It's too good!!! I love the way you write, you put details in the story, but not too many, and because of that it's easy to read even when there are difficult words. Also, are you able to write everything in such a way that the reader can interpret fairly well whose thoughts it are. For example Youngjaes, where you use difficult words and show stubborness very well, and with Daehyun you get an easygoing mindset. It's totally awesome!! Love it!!!

Chapter 35: It already ended but Youngjae is still the type to deny things that would make Daehyun flattered ><

Anyway, I love your fic so muchhh that I didn't want this to end hahaha but what can I do? Thank you so much for writing Rewound Time and Moving Forward. Merry Christmas too!
