Daehyun speaking

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Dad..? Are you okay..?” (JU) Everyone else had gone home last night except Daehyun and Jongup. Jongup had stayed behind to keep watch over his dad, whom was still sitting by Young Jae’s bed side. Not once had Daehyun moved from his spot nor had he released Young Jae’s hand from his own. In fact, Jongup wasn’t even certain that Daehyun had gotten any sleep last night, so he couldn’t help but worry at this point. “Dad... Did you get any sleep?” (JU)

“I’m fine..” (DH) Jongup scratched the back of his head as he made his way over to the window. Looking outside, he stared out at the city as he tried to figure out how to cheer up his dad. Yes, Jongup was also sad and worried that his mother had died for that small amount of time, but somehow, he was able to keep it together. Was it because he didn’t have the same feelings that Daehyun had for Young Jae? “Jongup..? Why don’t you go get something to eat. You must be hungry..” (DH)

Turning to face Daehyun, Jongup could see that Daehyun was now looking up at him. Maybe he was slowly getting better! With a smile, Jongup made his way over to his father’s side before kneeling down next to him. “Okay! I’ll go get some food. Do you want me to get you food too?” (JU)

“.. Yeah.. I guess I’m pretty hungry. Here. I’ll give you some money.” (DH) Slowly, Daehyun released his hold on Young Jae before getting to his feet. Pulling his wallet out from his back wallet, Daehyun sat back down as he opened his wallet and began looking through it. Once he had produced a fifty dollar bill, Daehyun handed it to Jongup before wearily smiling. “Do you think that’ll be enough?” (DH)

“I think so.. Where should I get food from? The cafeteria?” (JU) He almost didn’t care about where Jongup got the food. After all, as long as it was edible and tasted good enough, then Daehyun would eat it. Plus, he didn’t want Jongup to go through too much trouble just to get food. Sure, it might be cheaper to go somewhere else, but Jongup might feel more comfortable staying within the building.

“The cafeteria seems good. Go ahead and go there.” (DH) Jongup nodded happily as he began to get to his feet. Once on his feet, Jongup put the money into his pocket as he began making his way out of the room. He was going to show his father the presents he got him and maybe this way, his dad would cheer up a bit more. He just needed to call Zelo and ask him to bring the presents over.

Once Jongup was out of the room, Daehyun turned his attention back to Young Jae. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun moved from his chair to the bed before laying next to Young Jae. Turning onto his side, Daehyun propped his arm up before resting his head in the palm of his hand. Placing a hand on Young Jae’s chest, he looked back up at Young Jae’s calm face. “You scared me.. you know? I really thought that I had... lost you. Are you testing me to see what I would do.. or... are you having trouble coming back?” (DH)

Another sigh escaped his lips as he reached up and brushed Young Jae’s hair out of his face. He needed to cut Young Jae’s hair somehow, but he wasn’t exactly a hair stylist. The only thing he could do was shave Young Jae’s facial hair, but other than that, Daehyun would just have to wait until Young Jae woke up before taking him to get a hair cut. How would Young Jae react once he saw how long his hair has gotten? It’s only been a few months, but Young Jae’s hair was already almost up to his shoulders while his bangs reached up to his nose. “Hey.. Don’t scare me like that again, okay? Come back safely...” (DH)

Leaning in a bit, Daehyun softly kissed Young Jae’s cheek before resting his head onto the pillow. Closing his eyes, Daehyun listened quietly to the heart monitor. Although it wasn’t Young Jae’s heartbeat directly, Daehyun found comfort in it. Why? Well, this way, he knew that Young Jae was alive. Why else would he find comfort in listening to a heart monitor?

A small yawn escaped from Daehyun’s lips as he soon felt a slight weight underneath his eyes. Now that he had gotten his thoughts sorted out during the night, Daehyun finally felt his lack of sleep catch up to him. He snuggled closer to Young Jae, feeling the warmth radiate from his husband as he let out a small sigh. Although Jongup had gone to get food for them, Daehyun hoped that Jongup didn’t mind if he got some sleep in.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With impatience kicking in, Jongup pursed his lips as he walked back and forth. He had an arm on his hip while he used his free hand to smooth his hair back. Jongup knew that it took a few minutes to get to the hospital, but Jongup wished that Zelo was here already with the things that he had asked him to bring. A simple wish to bring happiness to his dad was what he wanted and although the greatest happiness that Daehyun would receive was for Young Jae to wake up, this present seemed to be the only other thing that would at least somewhat accomplish this wish of his.

Coming to a stop, Jongup looked down at the food that he had recently purchased. He had gotten as much food as he possibly could with fifty dollars, so Jongup did hope that there was enough food for the both of them. Then again, if there wasn’t enough food and they were still a bit hungry, Jongup could use his own money to buy food. That had been the original plan, but his father had been relatively quick to bring out his wallet. Of course, Jongup could have simply kept his father from paying for the food, but he hadn’t been thinking about it at the time.

Looking around, there still didn’t seem to be any sign of Zelo. Taking his phone out, Jongup frowned a bit as he didn’t see a text message or a missed call of any kind from Zelo at all. Taking in a deep breath, Jongup put his phone away before sliding into the seat. He just needed to stay calm and wait patiently for Zelo. He would be here sooner or later, so there wasn’t any reason for him to be in such a panicked state.

Tapping his fingers on the edge of the table, Jongup looked around with a bit of curiosity. Since he was waiting, he thought that looking around would at least help him waste some time. Jongup could have just as easily used his phone to play the various games that he had downloaded or he could have searched the internet, but for some reason, that didn’t come to mind. The hospital was an interesting place in his opinion and although he could never see himself working here, it was always fascinating to see the different kinds of people the hospital seemed to draw in.

Sometimes he would listen in on conversations from time to time, though he didn’t really mean to. There would be times when these people would be close enough for him to hear, plus it didn’t really hurt anyone if he listened to them. They were speaking out in public and if they didn’t want anyone to hear what they were saying, then they would have gone somewhere a bit more private than the cafeteria. Whispering was also another option when it came to trying to keep things private. At least, that’s how he saw things whenever it came to this sort of topic. Then again, he wouldn’t really like it himself if someone was eavesdropping on his conversation, but he just couldn’t help himself.

Just as he was about to pull his phone out once again, a pair of hands quickly covered his vision. It was a bit worrisome whenever someone did this. For all he knew, it could have been someone trying to kidnap him or something along those lines, but he decided to remain still once the person began talking. “Guess who?” (Z)

“Uh.. Zelo..?” (JU) Well, he was fairly certain that it was Zelo. He knew that voice anywhere! However, one couldn’t be too careful about guessing whom was who. For all he knew, it could have been someone with a voice similar to Zelo’s. Then again, being a bit too cautious did make it obvious that Zelo was disappointed once he heard a dejected sigh.

“Why do you sound unsure?” (Z) Pulling his hands away, Zelo soon took the seat next to Jongup as the two looked at one another. Zelo had a slight frown on his face, but it was quickly replaced with a smile as he set the smaller present on top of the table. “I brought them with me! I asked Taeyeon to drive me here, so she’s coming with the other present and some food. Are you sure you want to give your present to your dad now?” (Z)

“Yeah..! I want to cheer him up and I think my presents will do it.” (JU) Jongup couldn’t help but smile brightly at the thought of his dad finally happy again. He knew how happy his dad could really be and if he could at least somewhat spark that happiness again, then everything would be worth all of the wait.

“There you two are!” (TY) Both Jongup and Zelo looked up as they saw Taeyeon walking towards them. She was holding a large bag, which was most likely the food that Zelo was talking about, but she was also holding something even bigger. It was a bit surprising that someone as tiny as her could carry something that big with one hand, but the two knew just how strong the woman could be when she wanted to. Setting the bag of food down onto the table, Taeyeon let out a small sigh as she carefully set the wrapped gift down. Her eyes quickly spotted the bag of food that Jongup had purchased as she thought for a moment. “Jongup, can you carry your present and I’ll carry the bags? I don’t want your present to get ruined.” (TY)

“Okay.” (JU) Once the two teens were up on their feet, the three of them gathered up their things before they began making their way to Young Jae’s room. Jongup did wonder what his father’s reaction would be once he opened up his presents. Maybe with the food, it would make his father extra happy. That was always a bonus, right? Well, they would just have to wait and see what happens after they get there.

A few minutes had passed before the three were in front of Young Jae’s room. Since Zelo was carrying the least amount of things, he was the one whom had to open the door for everyone. Taking a hold of the door handle, Zelo looked at the other two before slowly turning the handle. Once it wouldn’t turn any further, Zelo carefully pushed open the door as he peeked through the crack. The second he spotted Daehyun, he let out a small sigh as he pushed the door open and stepped in. “He’s sleeping!” (Z)

Stepping inside, Jongup and Taeyeon both looked over to see if Zelo was telling the truth. Upon clarification, Jongup sighed a bit as he brought the present over to the table where Zelo had set the smaller one. Well, it would be alright if they waited just a little longer to give the present to him. Once the food had been set down, Taeyeon dusted herself off a bit before looking back over at Daehyun. “Did he get any sleep last night?” (TY)

He may not have entirely known the answer to that question, but Jongup assumed that his father hadn’t gotten any sleep. It was a safe assumption since his father looked rather tired despite the fact that he was currently sleeping. “I don’t think so.. When I woke up, he was still sitting in the same position.” (JU)

Taeyeon sighed a bit as she shook her head. Well, at least Daehyun was sleeping now. Had he continued to stay up longer, Taeyeon would have had to force Daehyun to get some sleep. Sitting down in one of the nearby chairs, Taeyeon looked around for a moment. “Do you two want to start eating?” (TY)

“Can we?” (Z) The second Taeyeon gave the okay to do so, Zelo had been the first to begin sorting through the various foods that had been brought over. Jongup, on the other hand, hesitated for a bit. He didn’t want to eat without his father, but he was fairly hungry at the moment. Deciding that there would be enough food for Daehyun to eat once he woke up, Jongup turned his attention towards the food as he began to obtain the things that seemed to catch his interest.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A loud gasp escaped from his lips as Young Jae shot up to a sitting position. He tried to catch his breath as he instantly reached behind him, trying to feel for the gunshot wound that had brought him down just mere moments ago. Even as he reached underneath his shirt and felt the skin on his back, there just didn’t seem to be any sort of evidence that he had been shot or wounded in any sort of way. Slowly calming down, Young Jae soon realized that he wasn’t out in the ruins of New Jersey anymore. Instead, it seemed like he was back at that underwater building.

Are you okay..?

“.. Did you save me?” (YJ) Silence yet again, to which Young Jae didn’t quite understand the reasoning behind it. Was it because he didn’t know how to answer or was it because.. he hadn’t been the one to save him? Sighing, Young Jae laid back down as he set his hand on his stomach and covered his eyes with his arm. “Can’t you tell me what happened... at all? I’m tired of all of this tom foolery..” (YJ)

You died.. for a brief moment..

“Died.. I’m quite well aware of that.” (YJ) That much was obvious, was it not? Wait. He.. died? As in he stopped breathing, his heart stopped pounding, all bodily functions shut down as he slowly slipped away from his body type of died? Sitting back up, Young Jae looked around, but he was certain that he didn’t recognize this room. It seemed like this room had to be the room that he had stepped into earlier, though he wasn't certain since he didn't know how it looked like before he fixed it. “Can you.. elaborate on what you mean by.. died?” (YJ)

You died in the real world, Young Jae.. I told you.. If you die in here, you die in reality. The doctors, however.. were able to both save you and your other self.

Young Jae’s eye lids narrowed as he leaned back against the coach. So.. he died in both worlds? What was Daehyun feeling? Wait. Sitting up, Young Jae’s eyes widened as he quickly stood up. He truly, actually, died in the real world?! The book that had been on his lap the entire time slid off, creating a slight thump sound as it attempted to grab Young Jae’s attention. Looking down at the book, he paused for a moment before picking it up and looking around. “How are... both Daehyun’s doing..? Are they.. alright..?” (YJ)

Both?

“The child version of Daehyun that I helped.” (YJ) It seemed like Daehyun needed a moment to think or at least check on the outcome of his work. Walking around for a moment, Young Jae sighed as he paused and looked back down at the book in his hands. He wouldn’t read it just yet. Young Jae wanted to at least know the answers that he was searching for first before he decided to read this book.

That Daehyun is alright.. Because you were brought back to life in reality, your other self was able to survive the gunshot wound and take care of him. As for the Daehyun in reality.. He stayed by your side all night and.. he’s still there.

Still there..? Young Jae looked around, but he didn’t see a window or anything related to water that could show him what was happening in real life. Letting out a small sigh, Young Jae made his way over to the armchair and seated himself inside of it before leaning his head back. How was Daehyun..? Was he alright? How much pain was he feeling at this very moment if he has had to go through the horrors of losing someone, even for a brief moment. Pushing those thoughts away, he wanted to stall about thinking about those specific thoughts just a little longer as his thoughts drifted back to the child Daehyun. “Can you.. tell me more about myself in that world?” (YJ)

Yourself? Hm.. You were part of another group that was based in New Jersey. You were one of their best scouts, if I recall and you stumbled across Daehyun after he snuck out of the building he was forced to stay in. Well, uh.. you.. also took a liking to Daehyun and decided to save him.

Young Jae nodded a bit as he looked back down at the book. Well, now he knew at least a bit more information about that world. Swallowing the lump in his throat, Young Jae tightened the hold on the book in his hands. He would just read this book, then move on. No more thinking back about what could have happened. That’s what he has been doing this entire time anyway, so why did he hesitate? Why was it that this book gave him this feeling of dread? It made little to no sense to him, but.. he was going to have to take a look at it sooner or later.

Taking in a deep breath, Young Jae slowly opened the cover..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A small, hoarse moan escaped his lips as he continued to lay there, disturbed from his sleep. He barely opened his eyes, peeking through the small eyelid slits as he slightly lifted his head a bit to look around for the source of his disturbance. Through blurred eyes, Daehyun stared at Jongup and Zelo, whom were in the middle of watching something on their smart phone. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun let his head fall back down onto the pillow as he snuggled a little bit more to Young Jae. He probably would have fallen back asleep, but another voice quickly stopped him from doing so. “Are you going back to sleep, Daehyun?” (TY)

“Mm... No..” (DH) Well, maybe he’s slept enough for today anyway. Laying there for a few more seconds, Daehyun push himself up to a sitting position as he looked around sleepily. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun pushed himself up to where he was sitting up straight near the head of the bed before stretching a bit. “When did you all get here..?” (DH)

While Daehyun rubbed his eyes, Jongup and Zelo had looked his way as they quickly put their phone away. Almost instantly, the two had grabbed the presents that Jongup had prepared as they quickly made their way to the side that Taeyeon had been sitting on. “Dad! I got a present for you and I want you to open it!” (JU)

“Present..?” (DH) He lowered his hands a bit, slowly peeking from over his hands as he looked down at the presents that the two held. It was almost obvious that Daehyun was curious as to what was inside of the gift wrapping, but he quickly composed himself as he cleared his throat and lowered his hands down onto his lap. “Okay. Which one should I open first?” (DH)

“The smaller one!” (JU) Zelo quickly handed Daehyun the smaller box first, to which Daehyun happily took into his hands. He bit his bottom lip, trying to hide the obvious smile that was growing on his lips as he began to unwrap the gift wrapping. No matter how old Daehyun got, he has always loved receiving gifts. He just wasn’t the type to want to make it too obvious since he also liked to be the one to give gifts.

With the gift wrapping out of the way, Daehyun continued to hold his bitten down smile as he began to lift the lid off of the box. The second he saw what was inside, his eyes practically lit up as he no longer could bite back the smile that wanted to show itself. Setting the lid down, he reached into the box before pulling the two stuffed toys out of the box. The two toys were of the famous cartoon character ‘DOMO’ and luckily for the two teens, he was quite a fan of the little character. “Wooah.. Where’d you two get these?” (DH)

“Chinatown.” (JU) Jongup could practically feel Taeyeon’s gaze on him, but he tried his best to ignore it. After all, he didn’t want to make it too obvious that they had gotten the dolls without her help. Still, despite the location being a bit out of the way, Daehyun merely assumed that the two had gone with one of the adults. Besides, the plushies were far too distracting at the moment! Moving the box off to the side a bit, Daehyun set the two plushies on his lap as he continued smiling. Jongup couldn’t help but smile a bit as he wondered what his father was thinking of. “Do you like it?” (JU)

“Yeah! Look at ‘em!” (DH) Daehyun chuckled a bit as he made the two walk around on his lap. The one in his left hand was dressed up like a panda and had a clip attached to it, allowing him the ability to hang it wherever he could clip it onto. The one in his right hand was completely pink and also had a clip on it, but they were both still as equally cute. “Thanks, Jongup.” (DH)

“Now open this one!” (JU) Jongup pulled the next present up, revealing the size of the present. It was actually taller than the upper half of his abdomen and head put together, probably reaching about halfway down his thigh. Daehyun stared in amazement at the present as he set the two dolls back into the box. Once the box had its lid back on it, he took hold of the next present before laying it out across his lap and Young Jae’s stomach.

“Woooah... What is it?” (DH)

“Open it!” (JU) Daehyun nodded as he took just a moment longer to try and mentally guess what the present could possibly be. Looking at Young Jae, he smiled a bit warmer as he gave Young Jae’s hand a light squeeze underneath the wrapped gift. Even though Young Jae was in a coma, he was still glad to at least be spending part of his birthday with Young Jae.

Looking back down at the present, Daehyun soon proceeded to undo the wrapping.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Young Jae closed the book before it soon disappeared from his grasp. He stared blankly at his legs, his thoughts rolling around what he had just read and seen. So... Daehyun had died previously..? But there had to be a perfectly logical explanation as to why Daehyun was alive now. After all, Daehyun needed to be alive in order to have accidentally used the time reversal device.

Blinking a bit, Young Jae finally realized that tears had been falling down his cheeks. Reaching up, he lightly touched the trail on his right side before pulling his hand away. Looking down at his hand, he let out a small sigh before getting up to his feet. As life changing as it is to learn that your husband had died at some point, which he definitely now knew the feeling that Daehyun must have been feeling just a moment ago, he needed to keep going. He could break down about it later, right? Although he didn’t want to do such a thing, it was important to release such feelings from time to time.

Wiping his face and trying his best to clean himself up, he soon made his way towards the door. There was no time to be fascinated by the rooms despite looking very similar in terms of decor. The sooner he was out of here, the faster he would be back with his family. Opening the door, he had just stepped out of the room when another sort of vision began to occur in the water just in front of him.

He stopped for a moment, waiting patiently for the vision to clear up before he soon found himself watching a familiar pair of hands unwrapping a present of some sort. Slowly, he walked up to the window as he placed a hand on the cool glass. Was it still Daehyun’s birthday? He could see Zelo on the side, but besides the portion of whom he assumed was Daehyun on the bed next to him, he could just barely see part of Jongup next to Zelo and a woman sitting in a chair off to the side. Young Jae probably would have taken the time to try and figure out who the woman is, but his gaze had drifted back to the present that Daehyun was currently opening.

The second the present had been partially revealed, Young Jae’s eyes widened in awe. Even Daehyun seemed to pause for a moment to admire the present before he continued to slowly pull the gift wrapping off. Once the gift wrapping was gone and out of the way, Daehyun raised the gift for them to see better. “Woow... I.. I didn’t even know you took a picture of this.” (DH)

“Yeah..! I wanted it to be a surprise for you and mom.” (JU) It was a large canvas that had a picture of when Daehyun had proposed to Young Jae. It was a clear picture, showing practically every detail of Daehyun’s large grin while holding a small box, with a barely exposed ring being displayed, out to a rather surprised Young Jae. Young Jae wasn’t necessarily happy that his expression was clearly seen, even from the side, but.. it was still a pleasant surprise indeed.

After another minute or so of looking at the vision, Young Jae was about to move on when Daehyun finally raised the canvas up. Young Jae paused as he saw Daehyun moving it to where the canvas was now directly in front of his vision, even showing his own smiling face as he pointed excitedly at the picture. “Look, Young Jae! Isn’t it beautiful? Wooow.. It’s so nice! Look how handsome you look. We’re both so happy! You were happy when I proposed, right? Should I propose to you again when you wake up?” (DH)

Young Jae was trying hard not to smile, but he just couldn’t help but fall for Daehyun’s charms. It felt like it has been so long since he’s actually interacted with the real Daehyun, but he won’t keep Daehyun waiting for too long. He’ll be there soon.. he just knew he would. “Idiot.. Why should you propose again if we’re married..?” (YJ)

“Ah.. I can already hear you scolding me for suggesting something like that.” (DH) Was he really that predictable or did he really hear him? Young Jae slightly shook his head as he smiled yet again. “It’s okay then. I’ll do something really special for you, you’ll see! Maybe I should do what I did for your birthday? Would you like that? You know, we haven’t even used your present yet.” (DH)

It took him a few seconds, but the second realization kicked in, Young Jae instantly turned red as he furiously shook his head. Why was he saying such things with the kids standing right there?! He wanted to cover Daehyun’s mouth and keep him from talking, but Daehyun began talking once again as he lowered the canvas back down. “Ah.. I shouldn’t say anymore. I’ll keep it a secret. Until then, wake up soon, okay?” (DH)

He watched as the vision began to blur up with Daehyun still smiling at him. With the vision now gone, Young Jae let out a small sigh as he pressed his forehead against the glass. Well, did this count as still catching his birthday? Of course it did! He saw everything and thus, it made sense that he was able to celebrate with Daehyun on his birthday, not that it mattered or anything. Daehyun was already his husband, so why should it matter if he celebrated his birthday with him?

Pushing away from the glass, Young Jae smoothed his clothes out before he began walking down the hallway. Now that he was thinking about it, Daehyun seemed to be taking care of himself rather well. He didn’t look as skinny as he had been the last time he saw him in one of those visions, though he did still look pretty exhausted. Had he been getting enough sl- Wait. Of course he hasn’t. Recalling what had been said not that long ago, Daehyun had stayed up all night by his side.

So.. he just needed to endure the hardships thrown his way. After all, if Daehyun was still waiting patiently for him, then Young Jae needed to make certain that he made it through. He couldn’t just keep everyone waiting at this point. Of course, he did also want to live in the real world. All of this dream nonsense or whatever this counted as was getting quite.. frustrating to live with. He’d rather deal with his own life as opposed to what his dream self seemed to have to put up with whenever he went to sleep.

Then again, none of these seemed to have been dreams that he recalled having.

None of that mattered at the moment though. This was still in his head and thus, he can keep calling it a dream if he so desired to do so and through popular belief which seemed to have turned out true, he needed to make certain that he didn’t die in here. Coming to a stop, Young Jae had just taken a hold of the door handle before pausing for a moment. Looking back to his left, he soon realized that this hallway only seemed to lead to a dead end. How many rooms did Daehyun say he needed to do? Maybe about.. seven rooms total? This couldn’t be the last room, could it?

Shaking his head, he looked back towards the door. He could think about it later. For now, Young Jae just had to solve this room and see where that would lead him. Turning the doorknob, Young Jae pushed open the door before looking inside. Confusion kicked in as he soon stepped inside the relatively solid room. He even stomped his foot on the ground a few times before coming to a conclusion that this room was, indeed, actually here. “Daehyun..? What the heck’s going on here..?” (YJ)

“Young Jae. There you are.” (DH) Young Jae turned to see Daehyun now closing the door behind him. He furrowed his eyebrows, slight confusion kicking in. What was this all about? Shouldn’t he technically already know where he has been? Folding his arms, Young Jae waited patiently as Daehyun moved his way towards him. “I’ve been waiting for you.. We have a date to go on, remember?” (DH)

“A date..? When did I agree to going on a date with you?” (YJ) A brief flash of pain seemed to have crossed Daehyun’s face, but he quickly smiled as a small chuckle escaped his lips. Stepping a bit closer to Young Jae, Daehyun pulled Young Jae’s hands into his own as he swung their hands from right to left.

“Does that mean you won’t go on a date with me?” (DH) Young Jae sighed as he looked off to the side for a moment. Going on a date would only waste his time, but.. well, he did kind of owe this Daehyun something. He did, after all, at least try to help him. Sure, it had to be when Young Jae was practically yelling at him to get any sort of information out of him, but it was better than nothing.

“Fine. I’ll go on a date with you. Where, exactly, do you plan to take me?” (YJ) Now that he thought about it, the only things they could possibly do had to be within this building. When one thought about it, they were practically trapped in here with little to no way to getting out of here so unless this building had everything a date needed, it might be a relatively quiet and possibly boring date. Of course, Young Jae quite enjoyed quiet dates anyway.

“Where..? Well.. It’ll be a surprise, okay?” (DH) Young Jae sighed before nodding. It was better than nothing, right? If it was a good surprise, then maybe, Young Jae wouldn’t have to smack the back of this Daehyun’s head for wasting his time. After all, he needed to save the next Daehyun to move on to the final one. “Great! Let’s get going then.” (DH)

The second Daehyun turned Young Jae around, Young Jae stared in slight confusion as he stared at the door that they were now heading towards. Had that door been there the entire time? Wait.. what about that large window with curtains? Had that been there as well? Once they stopped in front of the door, Daehyun opened it up, revealing a town that Young Jae didn’t recognize. He had to pause for a second, unable to process exactly what was going on before he soon found himself stepping outside on the firm ground. Dream or not, Young Jae was certain that he had been in an underwater building just moments ago, so...

What.. exactly was going on here?

Chapter 35: I love this story so much! I waited with Reading cause I was reading another fanfic, but I shouldn't have waited... It's too good!!! I love the way you write, you put details in the story, but not too many, and because of that it's easy to read even when there are difficult words. Also, are you able to write everything in such a way that the reader can interpret fairly well whose thoughts it are. For example Youngjaes, where you use difficult words and show stubborness very well, and with Daehyun you get an easygoing mindset. It's totally awesome!! Love it!!!

Chapter 35: It already ended but Youngjae is still the type to deny things that would make Daehyun flattered ><

Anyway, I love your fic so muchhh that I didn't want this to end hahaha but what can I do? Thank you so much for writing Rewound Time and Moving Forward. Merry Christmas too!
