Chapter  24: Welcome Back ♕

Myungsoo pulled his luggage as he strolled it out of my unit's door, yeah, its today, he's finally leaving...  Instead of being happy, I'm not. inside. since

I was the one who refused for him stay.. 

Well, I helped him. Right? Jinee, atleast you've done your part.

but why is it hard for me to see him go.  

"So.. See you soon." He beamed at me. He actually did. 

And it looked like... he's happy. There's not even a shade of gloom visible on his face. 

I felt bad again which is kind of pathetic. I think.

"Well? Thats the only thing you would say? for staying here for almost two weeks?!" I complained. 

He scratched his temple and tilted his head a bit to the side, which actually, cute. 

He straightened, "and.. Thank you... for everything." he said.

I need to pull myself together, I shouldn't feel like this. No. Not ever. 

And suddenly, someone appeared behind myungsoo.. 

"Luhan?" I asked in surprise. "You're here?" And thats when I remembered, I didn't tell him this, any of this..

"Hey." He gave me a weak smile. "I'm here to bring back a runaway teenager."

Myungsoo glared at him, "Shut up Luhan." 

"If you're curious,I know he's ran away which shocked me, and were actually finding him all over the city but I have really no idea that he's here.. only when he called me this morning to come pick him up. Here." he explained. I swallowed a big lump on my lungs as he clearly uttered 'here' .

"Sorry for not telling you." I bowed my head in apology. 

"I know its not your fault, Im sure someone made you." he said referring to the guy who's silently leaning against the door frame. 

We both looked at him, "Are you guys done with your faithful lovey chit-chat?" he said impatiently as he made a scoff. 

"Let's catch up some time." Luhan said as he turned around and started marching down the hallway. 

Myungsoo followed him but stopped to give that one last turn to me. 

I gave him a sincere smile. See you soon.
