As they were lying on the couch of his apartment, their phone beeped one after another. They checked the texts they had just received.

Hyung, Dream’s birthday party tomorrow. –HaHa.

Gary’s read. The text reminded him of the important day that was coming up and realized that he had nothing to bring tomorrow. He stayed silent. He liked the silence embracing him and his girlfriend as they relax on his couch. Seeing the expression on his face, JiHyo knew who texted and assumed that she would receive a text of the same message. And she guessed right,

JiHyo, remind your boyfriend that Dream’s birthday is tomorrow. Presents are necessary. Hahaa. –HaHa.

She laughed at how well they knew each other. She then looked at her boyfriend who was bothered by the thought of buying presents. “Should we go then?” She asked him. She knew that he as well had received the message. Gary groaned in laziness.

“No… One more minute” He tightly hugged her and pulled her back to sit on his lap. She laughed in response. He placed his chin on her back and talked to her, “Can’t we do it tomorrow?” He asked.

“Oppa… C’mon. We can go now and be lazy tomorrow morning.” She looked at him with her puppy eyes so that he would go. Finally, he was defeated by her aegyo act. He sighed,

“Okay then. Let’s go now.” He got her up and got up after her. He then grabbed his keys and led her out. “Just promise me that we’ll be all lazy in bed tomorrow.” He asked of her. She smiled in return and stared at him gratefully.

“Ne, Oppa.” She teasingly kissed him on the cheek, “Gomawo.” Almost immediately, and naturally, his arm wrapped her tiny figure as they walked side by side.

They arrived at a big toy store (of course, because what else would they get for a baby except toys and clothes?) and got off the car. They didn’t need to worry about the people that much as the street was surprisingly pretty empty.

As they entered, there were not many people. Only another couple who seemed immersed in finding toys and a mother looking around with her child. As soon as they entered the boys section, a shopkeeper approached them to see if they needed help with anything. Being the guy that he was, Gary quickly nodded and told her that it was Dream’s birthday the next day. JiHyo was reluctant, but went with it anyway. The shopkeeper then directed them to the aisle that displayed toys for one-year olds. They then said thank you and continued looking for the presents by themselves. Since it was Dream’s first birthday,
