In continuation to Gary’s continuous fan meetings held in Asia, he decided to prepare a more intimate session, although online. He just got home from a meeting and after a limited time with Jihyo the past week, he decided to make his night free. They had to film Running Man the next day. Even so, he wanted to also let his fans have a QNA session with him. So his company had set up a video call session with him. They selected 15 people to come to the company and they were given the chance to have a private video call session with Gary. It was kept strict: they weren’t allowed to record the conversations, or capture the images of Gary. They were promised that by the end of the call, Gary was going to take a screenshot picture himself and the company is also going to take one picture of them all together. But the good side of it was that there was no restriction to what they ask Gary, they can ask whatever they want to, a casual conversation. The fifteen people were chosen, and they were very excited that day. On the other hand, Gary just got home after picking Jihyo up.

“Oppa, I’m going to shower. I’m so tired, I need to wash myself.” She said to him. Gary locked their front door.

“Ok, go shower.” He said, not joking around because he knew she was really tired. She had been working non-stop. He decided to prepare dinner instead. Just then, his phone rang. It was his manager, so he picked it up. “Ye, hyung?”

“Gary-ya… In an hour, ok?” He told Gary, reminding him of the video call session. Gary looked at the clock immediately. He was not sure if one hour was a good length, but Jihyo was also tired, so she’d probably be asleep by then. Absent-mindedly, he nodded. He then ended the call and continued to make dinner.

Jihyo was soon done with her shower and night routine. She took her short pants from the drawer of their closet, and grabbed whatever sleeping tee was on top. She put them on hurriedly and went out, smelling dinner. She saw Gary plating their dinner, and with a smile, she approached him and gave him a back hug.

“Saranghae oppa…” She suddenly said. Then she just stayed that way. She let her head rest on his back and he let her embrace him. He held onto her hands and smiled. After a while, he then chuckled.

“Why are you suddenly like this?” He asked her. She shrugged and took the plate with her, sitting on the chair by the countertop. Then he noticed the shirt she was wearing. It wasn’t even hers. It was the Halyang shirt he uses all the time on stage. He laughed at her, but followed behind, grabbing their eating utensils. He gave them to her and they started eating. “Mongji-ya…” He said, then he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears. “Did you miss me that much?” He asked her. She looked at him, confused. He then held her shirt. She looked at it and laughed.

“I just grabbed whatever was on top.” She said. He continued teasing her. “This shirt looks better on me than it does on you anyway.” She said, teasing him in return. He laughed. Then out of the blue, he said,

“Let’s not go filming tomorrow.” Jihyo paused and looked at him with a weird face.

“What are you talking about, oppa?” She asked him. She was really confused of his weird and sudden question.

“It’s just that… I haven’t been with you, just the two of us, for so long?” He looked at her and she smiled a tender smile. She put her utensils on the plate and reached out for his hand.

“I’m sorry.” She said. “But after tomorrow’s filming, everything will slow down, right?” She asked him, trying to convince him that they will still have a lot of time together. “Besides that will be weird. I don’t know if that’s even allowed? The two of us not go filming. I’d rather not deal with any kinds of rumor, oppa.” She laughed, trying to brighten up the mood. Like a little child, Gary pouted. She laughed at his often-childish acts. She stood up and held his hand. “Gaja…” She said, dragging him along. She smiled at him and it was all he needed. He looked at their unwashed dishes.

“We still need to do these dishes.” He said. He was by then used to washing the dishes after meals. She wasn’t that obsessive about cleaning, but they agreed that they should clean it as soon as possible. She chuckled.

“We can do that tomorrow.” She said to his surprise. Without a doubt, he nodded. “Let’s just go and watch something in bed now.” She suggested. He laughed. They went inside their room and he the TV. She slid under the covers and checked her phone. Knowing that she should probably spend it with him instead, she turned her phone off.

“What do you want to watch?” He asked. Even so, he kept looking through the different things there and look for something that might be good to play that night. He decided to play a random movie that he assumed Jihyo got as a gift since he’d never seen it before. He played it and joined her in bed. She moved closer to him, and when embraced her, she rested her head on his chest. When she was sleepy and yawned, he could feel her jaw moving. He chuckled and the back of her head. Slowly, she got heavier. She had fallen asleep. Carefully, he moved her head and got out of bed to take his laptop and go to the bathroom. Just then, there was an incoming video call from his manager. He accepted the call but left for the bathroom. He didn’t remember that he was supposed to have that interview at that time. Jihyo stirred in her sleep, feeling the cold, empty space next to her. Gary caught her stirring and he chuckled. Thinking that the one on the other side of the video call was just his manager, he acted normally.

“Did I fall asleep?” Jihyo asked Gary. “Ah, mianhae, oppa.” She said, regretting. Gary told her to go back to sleep and he left for the bathroom. When he came back and slid himself under the covers, he took a look at her and she was already asleep again. He chuckled and kissed her forehead. She buried her face on the side of his body, and he put his arm around her, and then he focused on the video call. That was when he realized that there had been people watching Jihyo sleep and their interaction. He looked at his manager who was standing in front of the others in shock.

“Hyung!” He said as loud as he could with a whisper. “Ah, hyung! So embarrassing!” He complained right off. The girls in the back laughed. He was embarrassed that their interaction was seen by other people, but what had happened had happened. So he moved on. “I feel like I should move outside.” He laughed at himself. He made sure that Jihyo was really asleep and carefully slipped his arm from under her and went out to the dining room. On the way out, he blocked the camera so that he wouldn’t reveal too much about their house. Once he was seated, he opened the camera again. The session started and Gary distracted them from asking about Jihyo. It went over an hour by then. He was pleased that they were also interested in his music, not just his relationship.

“Gary oppa!” One of them called out. Gary looked at her, answering her with a simple yes. “Can you rap a part of Bicycle for us?” She asked. Gary was surprised by her request. He hesitated, then started.
