A/N: Really really thankful for the responses.. I'll try my best to finish this fic since there are people who want to read. 
The following chapters will be much shorter though, since I have problems churning out words even though I spent entire afternoons when I work on this fic. :/ 
But that's for myself to work out...

Kyuhyun strolled along the corridor, caught up in his own thoughts.

He had so many questions to ask Sungmin - their house, their family, their reaction to his cut… or maybe, blood.

He had gone everywhere in school to look for Sungmin, but Sungmin seemed to have skipped school for the past few days. He even looked up Sungjin, but Sungjin claimed that he didn’t know where his brother was. The weirdest part of the conversation was Sungjin excusing himself frantically for class when Kyuhyun asked him whether he was joking about… vampires.

Somehow that theory made sense. Sungjin’s evasion, the over-reaction to his cut, the beauty, the attractiveness, the talent, the fast movements, the... hiking trips. Although the true nature of the “hiking trips” sent shivers down Kyuhyun’s spine, what worried him more was how the truth – if the theory was right – affected Sungmin’s feelings towards him.

“Bu hao yi si, qing wen dian nao gong cheng xi xue yuan zen me zou? (不好意思，请问电脑工程系学院怎么走？Excuse me, how do I get to the Computer Engineering Faculty? ) ”
A foreigner stopped Kyuhyun, throwing a question at him.

“Err, sorry, I don’t speak…”
What language is that again? Sounds familiar.

“Dian nao, dian nao!” （电脑，电脑! Computer, computer!）” She drew a box in the air and wiggled her fingers.

Is that piano?

“I—I…”

“Dian nao gong cheng qian mian zhi zou, kan dao can ting hou you zhuan, shi shen lan se de da lou. (电脑工程 前面直走，看到餐厅后右转，是深蓝色的大楼。Computing Engineering, go right ahead and turn right when you see the cafeteria, it’s a dark blue building. ) ”

A familiar voice interrupted Kyuhyun’s stammering, saving his life.

“Xie xie! （谢谢！Thank you!）” The girl beamed and walked towards the direction she was pointed to.

Kyuhyun turned to see his savior. “Zhoumi-ssi! Y-you know…”

“Chinese? Yeah.” Zhoumi flashed his usual wide smile. “And didn’t I ask you to just call me Zhoumi, Kyuhyun-ssi?”

“You did, and so did I. Just Kyuhyun.” Kyuhyun smiled.

“I…Is Sungmin in school?” Kyuhyun stammered.

There was a flick of nervousness in Zhoumi’s expression but he quickly regained his smile.

“Sungmin hyung is off on another hiking trip… He would be back in a few days.”

Kyuhyun’s heart sank in disappointment.

Is he avoiding me…?  

“Can you… Can you ask him to call me when he gets back?”
“Oh wait. He doesn’t have my number.” Kyuhyun sighed.

“Why don’t we exchange numbers then? I will make sure he calls you when he gets back.” Zhoumi reached for his phone in his pocket.

“Yeah, that will be great!” Kyuhyun brightened up and received the phone from Zhoumi. He typed in his number and gave a call to his own number.

“Kyuhyun-ah!” Siwon’s voice sounded from behind them.

Kyuhyun turned around to see Siwon and Changmin, waiting for him a distance away. They didn’t look that happy.

“I got to go, thank you so much Zhoumi!” Kyuhyun passed the phone back to Zhoumi and ran towards his friends.
