A/N: Hello everyone! it's the tenth chapter!! 
When I started out, I wasn't sure how many of you all would actually be reading my stories, but seeing the number of subscribers and views grow, I knew I couldn't stop writing until I finish the last chapter, at the very least. Before this, I didn't understand why other authors were always asking for comments, but now I do. It's direct response from our readers, a source of encouragement; a source of inspiration. I didn't reply all the comments before, but I will start doing so from now on (while trying not to leak too much of the story :x ) So thank you all for spending time to read this fic, and really, thank you for the comments!! 

In the story's description, I mentioned that this was an adaptation from The Twilight Saga. Honestly, the first and last time that I read the series was years ago (when it was first released) and I've forgotten most parts of the story. This was supposed to be a good thing since I didn't want to stick to the series entirely, but I realised a few 'mistakes' here and there after I re-read the first book... so hardcore twilight fans, please pardon me for the differences between the original story and this fic. I will try my best to make things sound logical xD 

So yes, enough of my nagging. (One last thing... If you realised, I renamed all the chapers!  \^___^/ )

Sungmin strode quickly through the front yard and slammed the main door behind his back. He was sweating and panting from the run all the way home but there were more things that occupied his mind.

“Sungmin hyung?” Ryeowook was watching television with Yesung in the living room when Sungmin came in.

Ignoring the couple, Sungmin threw his backpack next to the shoe cabinet, kicked his shoes off and ran up the staircase to the second floor. He threw the door open and went straight to the two hanging sandbags at the end of the room. Leeteuk and Kangin had set up a mini-gym in their house, a space for everyone to exercise or practise martial arts.

“How could you just walk away from your family”
“They loved you”
“They are suffering because of your own sole decision”

Kyuhyun’s words rung repeatedly in Sungmin’s head.

How could I just go to them like that? It’s too selfish.
And how can I guarantee that they would not suffer more if I decide to acknowledge them?
How? HOW?

Sungmin threw his fist at the sandbag and gave a high kick as it swung back.

Why did it all have to come this way?
Why did Sungjin have to meet me again?
Why did I have to become a vampire?
Why didn’t I just die three years ago?

He threw his fists repeatedly at the sandbag. He wanted to cry, but he couldn’t. Vampires don’t have tears.

“Are you okay, hyung?” Ryeowook’s voice came from the door.

Sungmin bit hard on his lips and punched harder.

“TEUKIE HYUNG! JONGWOON HYUNG! COME QUICKLY!”

Within seconds, Leeteuk, Yesung and Kangin appeared at the door.

“Wait here. He’s very agitated. Let me talk to him.” Leeteuk stopped the rest and walked towards Sungmin.

“Minnie? Are you okay?” Leeteuk approached Sungmin slowly.
Leeteuk felt the anger and desperation rising in Sungmin as Sungmin realized their presence.  

“Sungmin-ah! It’s enough. Stop!”
Leeteuk reached forward to grab Sungmin’s arm, but Sungmin pulled back, sending Leeteuk to the floor.

Suddenly, Sungmin felt the darkness overcoming him and his senses were sealed off.

“Yesung hyung, STOP IT! MAKE IT STOP!!” Sungmin screamed. He started pounding on his own head as he fell hard against the floor.

Kangin lunged at Sungmin, pinning him down, while Ryeowook helped Leeteuk up.

“Jongwoon, that’s enough.” While holding on to his left shoulder, Leeteuk passed a wave of calmness over Sungmin.

The darkness cleared before Sungmin’s eyes. He felt himself losing the strength in all his limbs.

“Ming, it’s okay, it’s okay.” Kangin sat Sungmin up as the rest crowded beside him.

“Hyung…” Sungmin looked up at Kangin, who his face affectionately.

“Minnie… what happened?” Leeteuk held Sungmin’s hand, rubbing across his knuckles lightly.

“Sungjin… I locked up his memories by accident last time... I-I thought I would be fine, but-but…”

“But there’s a huge part of you who want him to call you hyung again?” Yesung suggested.

Sungmin sighed, nodding his head lightly.

“I understand, Sungmin. I was the same years ago too.” Yesung said.

“Hyung, is it right for me to do that? Isn’t it very selfish of me?”

“Sungmin-ah, it’s not about being selfish or what. Everyone has a right to pursue what he wants for himself. Selfishness… there is no definite measurement.”

“But I—”

“Well… we can always lock up his memories again if he doesn’t want to accept you. But the one who is going to suffer is you.” Leeteuk patted Sungmin’s hand.

“Let me think about it… Sorry.” Sungmin picked himself up and walked towards the door.

Kangin took a step to follow Sungmin, but Leeteuk held out his hand.

“Give him some time.”

The Ohana family gathered in the dining room to have dinner, but most of the food was still untouched. Sungmin had refused dinner and the rest who returned later had learnt of the incident in the gym.

“I’m going to check out Sungmin hyung.” Zhoumi announced.

“Zhoumi, sit down.” Leeteuk ordered.

“But Jungsu hyung!”

“You’re too emotional, it will not help him.”

“I’ll go.” Shindong patted Zhoumi’s shoulder as he passed him.

“Sungmin, it’s me. Can I come in?” Shindong knocked on the door to Sungmin’s room.

“Yes…”

Shindong opened the door and entered. Sungmin was sitting on his bed, holding his family photo.

“Are you okay? Everyone’s worried.”

Sungmin has always felt comfortable around Shindong. He was always straightforward and says what is on his mind, saving the need for Sungmin to read his thoughts.

“Sorry.”

Shindong sat down beside Sungmin on his bed.

“Dong… Someone told me today that my family may be suffering because of my own decision, but I don’t know if telling them everything wouldn’t add on to the suffering.”

“If it does, you could erase their memories of you right? Didn’t you manage to lock up Sungjin’s memories for now?”

“I don’t know. I don’t think I’m able to control it yet. I don’t know if I can unlock Sungjin’s memories either.”

“Looks like you made a decision already hur?” Shindong smiled.

“I just hope I really can erase their memories if the circumstances require me too…”

“Ming, you really should think for yourself sometimes.”

“I don’t have the right to. I disappeared for three years. These three years, who knew what happened to them?”

“You didn’t want it that way!” Shindong reasoned.

Sungmin kept quiet this time, looking back down on his bed.

“Ahh, forget about that. Let’s go down for dinner? I’m sure Teukie hyung would have some ideas to help you unlock
