An only child you didn't have many friends until middle school, where you met Sohee. You met Minwoo at the age of three and grew closer over the years until you decided to become siblings at heart, you will always take care of each other no matter what. You met Kris when you met Minwoo, because they were both fighting over who gets to get a drink at the water fountain first, you interveined and befriended them both. You've gotten to know a few girls in and since high school, and got a great job at an ice cream shop about a year ago. Only two people besides you know about the scar on your right middle finger, Kris who found the wound when it was fresh, and Yongguk who finds it uncovered. The scar is in the shape of a ring around the finger's base, and was given to you by your mother after your father died. She got depressed and hated you because you reminded her of him, and so she cut you and said "This is what it felt like to take off the ring after he died." The cut is now a thin white scar that you cover every morning with concealer, forever a reminder of your kind father's death in a high way pile up, and of your mother's hatred towards you.

Lee Sooji:

Baekhyun's Adopted Sister + Seunghyun's (Seungri's) In-Law + Jinki's (Onew's) Wife

​Adopted by Baekhyun's family when she was 6 months old, Sooji has always been a kind and sharing person. Even when she got yelled at by her and Baekhyun's step-mom, she still kept a cool mood. All through her school years she was popular and liked by everyone, the only thing missing was knowing where she really came from. She never tried to find her parents, more out of fear that they'd like her too much and she'd never see her brother again than the fear of them not liking her. She married Onew and became a beloved member of his family, and now she's going to be your co-worker.

 

Kim Yoonmi: (Im Yoona)

Chen's Sister + Daehyun's Girlfriend

Raised along side a smart and respectful boy, Yoonmi is a sly and clever girl. She always got good grades in school, and got a job as an advertisment specialist at a large company, always thinking up new strategies to real in customers. She started dating Daehyun a year and a half ago after he saved her from a on the train ride to work. You meet her through Daehyun and become good friends.

Kim Seolbi: (Ahn Sohee)

Suho's/Minseok's (Xiumin's) Sister + Kai's Girlfriend

She may look sweet and innocent, but she can be terrifying when provoked by her bothers' nagging, constant aegyo, and people in general being disrespectful to anyone. She has lots of charisma and usually gets what she wants, especially when it involves her brother Suho buying her stuffed toys. You met her in your second year of high school and you've been good friends ever since. She started dating Kai two years ago after the two bumped into each other both all alone at the Han River.

Oh Sohee: (Tiffany)

Sehun's Sister + Minho's/Taeyang's/Yoogeun's Cousin + Jonghyun's fiancé

Your best friend since middle school, she knows you better than anyone (excluding Minwoo). She has always given you advice when you ask for it, and comfort when you need it. She usually pays close attention to Seolbi to make sure she doesn't get carried away with scolding people. She's the only person besides you who can calm down a rageful Seolbi. She has always been a great leader to people of all age groups, and got a job managing a car dealership. She got engaged to Jonghyunright before her parents and brother went on vacation. Her family loves Jonghyun, but to Sohee's disappointment, Sehun still doesn't entirely trust him.

 

Kim Junghee: (Sulli/Choi Jinri)

Kai's/Taemin's Sister + Jonghyun's In-Law + Key's Wife

A tricky girl to understand, Junghee is basically a girl version of her brother Kai. She is flirty and cocky almost constantly, her confidence through the roof. Guys never cease to notice her daring beauty wherever she goes, and she's the only one who her husband Key doesn't mind showing him up in the looks department. You met her in your first year of high school when she was showing her brother Taemin how to tie a bow tie at a discount store. She married Key 6 months ago and got a new job as a promotional model soon after.

Bang Yongguk: (himself)

Only Child

Raised in an orphanage, he has no idea who his real family is, and doesn't care to meet them. He grew up along side Himchan as his best and only friend until highschool where he met Daehyun. He moved in with the two boys plus Jongup at the pawn shop Himchan's deceased parents left for him, and more close friends moved in over the years. He works to manage the shop with Himchan and waits for him outside when Himchan goes out, which is how you meet him.

 

Jung Daehyun: (Himself)

Only Child + Yoonmi's Boyfriend

An only child, he has always been pals with his neighbors Jongup and Daesung. He always was there to keep the two in their right minds when something happened to their abused cousin. He didn't have any other friends but them and Lay who he met while taking the two other's to the school's doctor, and as a result he only focused on his studies and got perfect grades all through his school career, and got a job as a French Baking Proffessor's Apprentice at an expensive college (he specializes in cheesecakes). He moved in with Yongguk and Jongup in Himchan's pawn shop and so the family was born.  He started dating Yoonmi a year and a half ago after he saved her from a on her train ride to work. You meet him through Yongguk and become friends.

 

Yoo Youngjae: (Himself)

Only Child

Born an only child he never had friends because his parents didn't want him to associate with less wealthy people. He lived in luxury, but was depressed in his early years because he had no one to share it with. He gained wisdom as he could only observe peoples' interactions and could never himself participate in them, causing him to become shy and embarassed by attention. He didn't care for many things, but when he ran away from his inheritence and met Yongguk and the gang, he found the home he always deserved and will always love. He cares deeply for them as they are like his brothers, and he will protect them against anything and anyone. He works as a singer at a nightclub on Fridays through Sundays, earning him money and local respect at the same time. You meet him through Yongguk and he comes to care for you like he does the boys, as family.

 

Kim Himchan: (Himself)

Only Child

Raised an only child in an orphanage along side Yongguk due to his own parents' tragic deaths in a house fire, Himchan is ever careful to make new friendships. He fears losing people to the cruel world and decides not to risk getting to know them. He was left his parents' pawn shop and a few thousand dollars for him to inherit at the age of 18, and moved into the shop with Yongguk, Daehyun, and Jongup before the others came along and moved in as well. He got a job as a care taker at an animal shelter because he'd rather get to know a furry friend he personally takes care of, than a human friend who could backstab or abandon him. You meet him through Yongguk and he begins to care for you a lot.

 

Kang Jongup: (Moon Jongup/Himself)

Daesung's Brother + Jiyong's Cousin

Raised with the exact same treatment as Daesung, Jongup struggled to find a purpose in life. Him and his brother were mistreated by their alcoholic father and his brother, their uncle. They didn't get the worst of it, as their cousin Jiyong got abused by his own father and was given a lighting bolt shaped scar under his right shoulder blade when his father got mad at him for defending his mom, which sent Jongup and his brother even farther into despair. Jongup met Daehyun at a young age and started to bring his brother over to the older's house regularly for emotional comfort and physical safety. Jongup got a job as a personal tainer at a well known gym with the promise to always protect his shy older brother from anything that comes his way. You meet him through Yongguk and come to be another one of his friends that he underestimatedly deeply appreciates.

 

Choi Junhong (Zelo): (Himself)

Seunghyun's (Top's) Brother

Born into a family of wealth, he was always treated to whatever he wanted, spoiling him. He always kept his childlike charcter, even when he surpassed his older brother's height and went through puberty. His brother always treated him as an equal in the hell of parents wanting you to be what they wish they were, so he respsects the older like a father. He isn't very bright when it comes to ual things, but his lack of ual education ads to his lovable innocence. He always liked dance in school and was scouted by a famous choreographer to be his apprentice and masterpiece. You meet him through Yongguk and become his only and very much beloved Nuna.

 

Choi Seunghyun (Top): (Himself)

Junhong's (Zelo's) Brother

Growing up as Zelo's older brother and role model, he sees the younger boy as an equal instead of an inferior. He gained much wisdom as he practiced not using money, but earning it instead. He hid his playful side from the world at all times unless he was alone with Zelo, fearing that others will micromanage or judge him like his parents did. He got a job as a mechanic working on private sports cars, and knows a lot of influential people. You meet him through Zelo, and he becomes like your wise older brother.

 

Kwon Jiyong: (Himself)

Only Child + Daesung's Cousin

Abused and hated by his father with no sibling to lean on, Jiyong lost sight of anything but his mother's safety. He was always encouraged to live on by his two cousins who cared for him deeply, but they were too small to help his situation. He defended his mother against his drunk father when he was 7 and gained a lightning bolt shaped scar under his right shoulder blade that night. After that night he became determined to save his mother at all costs. He ran to the police on his mother's birthday and got his father put away for life. He didn't trust a single man, not even himself, until he moved with his mother to a new town and met Taeyang. A kind caring man, Taeyang softened Jiyong enough for Jiyong to trust him and realize that he could trust himself as well. While he thought so lowly of himself, Jiyong ended up Getting a multitude of tattoos on his body, one of which branded it with a large cross on his chest. He never knew how much he meant until you get him to gain Yongguk, the gang, and Top as new friends, seeing as you, Luhan, and Taeyang were previously the only ones.

 

Choi Youngbae (Taeyang): (Dong Youngbae/Himself)

Minho's/Yoogeun's Brother + Sohee's/Sehun's Cousin

Born the eldest of three sons, Taeyang never felt the need to socialize with rude people. He always thought to himself that even if he didn't have friends, he still had his brothers, they would never leave him. He acted as Minho's bodygaurd from bullies until the younger boy grew taller than him and the roles were reversed. Yoogeun thought of him and Minho as his fathers since their parents were fine with making more kids, but too busy and self absorbed to take care of them. His parents shunned Taeyang after Minho got taller than him, and acted like Minho was the oldest, leading Taeyang to abandon his home at the age of 14. He ran into the nearby neighborhood and met Jiyong, who he stayed with until he turned 16, and returned home after Yoogeun's happieness went to an all time low as he felt abandoned by the eldest. He got a job as a personal trainer at a gym that was in competition with Jongup's until Taeyang was scouted to work at the same place. You met him through Jiyong and he became a good friend, and he got to know his cousins that he had ignored after you introduced him to Soohee and her brother.

 

Kang Daesung: (Himself)

Jongup's Brother + Jiyong's Cousin

Treated like an unwanted guest by his father and uncle, Daesung couldn't do much to protect his little brother Jongup besides stand in the way of the empty bottles, earning him a thin scar across his collar bone. He had no confidence in anything he did until he was introduced to Jongup's friend Daehyun. It was Daehyun who brought him and his brother to the school's doctor the morning of the incident, and they all gained the doctor's apprentice Lay as a friend. The miracle of two friends gave him the courage to make another one, just one, named Suho. He met Suho in choir class in high school, which was a difficult time for Daesung as he constantly worried about his cousin's father escaping prison and ending the boy's life. You meet him through Jongup, and become like a sister to him.

 

Lee Seunghyun (Seungri): (Himself)

Jinki's (Onew's) Brother + Sooji's In-Law

Raised along side a chicken-obsessed brother, Seungri rarely got a chance to eat the stuff, so he gave it up all together, sick of being teased by the average meat. He never had a problem with making friends or talking to girls. Instead, he had a problem with lieing. He rarely told the truth from ages 10 to 16, making it hard for those he knew to trust his word. His mother taught him to lie to get her husband to do things she wanted, and she rewarded her son for the lies with money. Because of this, Seungri came to hate being given money from anyone he didn't professionally work for. He never quite forgave his mother's schemes and will never forgive himself for tricking his innocent father so much and so often. You meet him through Onew and he learns to think of you as the true friend he always wanted but never had.

 

Choi Minho: (Himself)

Taeyang's/Yoogeun's Brother + Soohee's/Sehun's Cousin

His parents favorite, Minho always felt sorry for and protective of his older brother Taeyang after he grew taller than the older boy. He treated Yoogeun like a son, and became the only one really in the child's life when Taeyang ran away thanks to their parents completely shunning the eldest for his hieght. He worked hard to keep up with his cousins and take care of his little brother until Taeyang returned home and did his part for the youngest. He got a job as a proffessional athlete, his sport being both the high jump, and table tennis. You met him through Sohee and the two of you became friends.

 

Kim Taemin: (Lee Taemin/Himself)

Kai's/Junghee's Brother + Jonghyun's/Key's In-Law

Raised along side almost devilishly sneaky, flirty, and intimidating siblings, Junghee and Kai, Taemin has always been the baby of the family. He follows his brother's example and obeys his sister's every comand. He's like their innocent minion, except he's totally oblivious to the everything. He has all kinds of little songs and memorization tricks that helped him get through school with a little above average grades, and got a job as an errand boy at a sales office no thanks to them. He thinks of his In-Laws as just more brothers to blindly follow in the journey of life, but he especially got attched to Key who has always treated Taemin with extra kindness. You met him when you were in a discount clothing store, and he's been your friend ever since.

 

Kim Jonghyun: (Himself)

Key's Half Brother + Kai's/Taemin's/Junghee's/Sehun's In-Law + Sohee's Fiancé

Raised along side a vulnerable half brother, Jonghyun has never quite liked the idea of sibling rivalry. His brother who shared a mother but not a father, was always manipulated by their parents and didn't quite know how to take care of himself. Jonghyun made his main purpose in life from the age 8 to now, to be making sure no one takes advantage of his brother. He became especially aware of this problem Key had of attracting the wrong people, when he was in his Junior year of high school. He stopped a male bully from Key in an alley after school, and since then he hasn't let the younger out of his sight. He got a job as a middle school History teacher. You met him when he became Sohee's boyfriend, and he got engaged to her right before her brother and parents went on vacation a couple weeks ago.

 

Kim Kibum (Key): (Himself)

Jonghyun's Half Brother + Kai's/Taemin's/Sohee's/Sehun's In-Law + Junghee's Husband

Manipulated by his parents since birth, Key has always had trouble with people taking advantage of him in some way or another. he always attracted the wrong people and the only reason he wasn't by another male student in his Sophmore year of high school is because he was saved by his half brother Jonghyun. He was protected by his brother and learned how to avoid bad people as much as possible. He always acted soft and didn't like to look that rough, so people called him gay, and shunned him. The only person that would talk to him besides his brother, was Junghee, who he married 6 months ago. He got a job as an interior designer and a party planner, people really pay a lot to have him arrange their offices/homes/celebrations. You met him through Junghee and the two of you became buddies.

 

Lee Jinki (Onew): (Himself)

Seunghyun's (Seungri's) Brother + Baekhyun's In-Law +Sooji's Husband

Taking every bit of chicken before his brother could get to it for years until the boy gave it up all together, Onew has always been obsessed with the meat. He grew up trying to deal with being clumsy and met Sooji, who he married a year ago, by accidentally knocking her over when he tripped over the brand new flat sidewalk. He's always jolly and never ceases to entertain those around him. He got a job as a librarian at a public high school, and spends his work days reading all the books. You meet him through Sooji on her first day of work.

Lauren was scared by his hieght and how unnaturally kind he was to her creeped her out, causing her at first to think of him as e, and so the first time he tried to shake her hand she cried and curled up into a ball. After that he was very careful with the way he spoke to her, and awlays feared he would make her cry again. Because of her first impression of him, he started to rethink and change the way he introduced himself to people, especially little children. His met his best friend Kai when he was accidentally pushed into a water fountain by the boy's brother. He met Kris by accidentally running straight into him while avoiding being run over by a biker. You meet him through Kris and your relationship with him becomes a mixture of your relationships with Zelo and Kris.

 

Do Kyungsoo: (Himself)

Lauren's Brother + Chanyeol's Cousin

Treated as a daughter by his parents who barely had time to speak to him, Kyungsoo raised his little sister Lauren. He cleaned and cooked for her and because of this and the way his parents talked to him, Lauren thought of him like a mother. He was forced to hang out with his cousin Chanyeol and so the two became pals. In his freshman year of high school during math class, he was always afraid because a boy named Chen would stare directly at him the entire hour, he did this for a whole month. When the boy finally approached Kyungsoo, it was after class in a dark hallway, and Chen had brought someone else with him. The boy introduced Tao to Kyungsoo and the two became like brothers. He introduced Tao to Lauren, and they became like a litle family. He got a job as a cook at the same place Tao became a waiter, and the two tried to conquer their fear of people together. You meet him through Lauren and he starts to treet you in a manner similar to the way Zelo does.

 

Zhang Zi Tao: (Huang Zi Tao/Himself)

Zhang Yixing's (Lay's) Brother + Yifan's (Kris')/Luhan's Cousin

Completely oblivious to the fact that he has cousins, Tao has never asked anyone if he has more family than the people in his house. Never quite appreciated by his parents in comparison to his smart brother Lay, Tao never thought impressing them was something he could do. He had no friends until he met a smart respectful boy named Chen in middle school. He didn't bother to get to know many other people, but Chen introduced him to a shy boy named Kyungsoo, and the two shy boys spent their alone time together. Kyungsoo introduced him to his little sister Lauren, who Tao treated like a daughter. He got a job as a waiter in the same restaurant Kyungsoo works in, in order to try to master his fear of strangers. You meet him through Lay and you become one of the people on his list of good humans in the world.

 

Zhang Yixing (Lay): (Himself)

Zitao's Brother + Yifan's (Kris')/Luhan's Cousin

Treated well and favored by his parents, Lay didn't know how to say he was sorry to Tao without making him feel even worse. Surrounded by people who wanted to be around him because it would make them look good, he was very careful who to befriend. In high school he found his first real friend, Daehyun. He met him when the boy brought his friend and the boy's brother to school with a slash on his collar bone. Lay was apprenticing with the school's doctor, and helped to take care of the boy Daesung's wound. He came to know the three boys after that and didn't think it would be so important to find many more friends. He got a job at the hospital that you visit and gets suspicious of the guys you come in with, despite Daehyun vouching for them. He was always suspicious of him and his brother having cousins, but doesn't know for sure until you unknowingly introduce them to each other.

Raised along side an adopted sister, Baekhyun always got people to think she was the normal kid out of the two of them. He always acted strange but no one ever questioned it. He didn't spend that much time with his parents because they would always try to tell him how much of a blessing hi sister Sooji was. He didn't hate her for it, infact he felt the same way his parents did. His mother got really sick after she gave birth to him and she died, meaning Baekhyun couldn't have any other siblings. His father didn't want to bring anyone else into the family because he wanted to treasure what he had now. If they hadn't adopted Sooji before Baekhyun was conceived, he would've been an only child and his father would've suffocated him with his attention. His father obeyed the promise he made to his wife to move on, and got remarried when Baekhyun and his sister were in high school, and his new wife didn't quite like the two kids being so precious to her husband, to her it was 'taking away from her beauty' to be second to the kids. She would yell at Sooji sometimes and Baekhyun would yell back for her, not letting her treat his preious sister so rudely. Baekhyun got a job at an arcade, and Sooji takes you there to meet him.

 

Wu Yifan (Kris): (Himself)

Luhan's Brother + Zitao's/Yixing's (Lay's) Cousin

Treated as the eldest son by his father, he feels sad that he has to set the example for his older brother Luhan. He loved his mom dearly until the age of 5 when she was killed by a man trying to rob her. For an entire year after his mother's death Kris only fought with other kids. He was fighting with Minwoo over who could get a drink from the drinking fountain when you met them both. You befriended Kris and became literately the only girl in his life for the next 10 years when he finally became friendly with Soohee. He has always mooched off his older brother and finally gets a job entertaining Luhan's customers with his company. Kris isn't a soft person, but because you are worth so much to him, the way you think of him can heal or hurt him. He wants you to see him as a man and not a child, so you're careful not to say that you care more for someone you just met than you care for him. You know he'll be able to deal with it eventually, but right now he has no one but you. He, like his brother, doesn't know he has cousins until you introduce the bunch to each other. He introduces you to his brand new friend Chanyeol at the shop.

 

Wu Luhan: (Luhan/Himself)

Yifan's (Kris') Brother + Zitao's/Yixing's (Lay's) Cousin

Treated as the youngest son, he sometimes forgets that he's older than his brother Kris, because of this he calls him Hyung here and there. Having only one friend named Sehun until high school, Luhan always wanted to befriend everyone. He always treated people like you would a puppy, an almost family member. He has always been very protective of his friends and never let his brother get to weird, in order to save everyone's feelings. He felt like a lost puppy because of his mother's death until Kris introduced the two of you and you showed him what beauty life can be. He saved up his money all through middle school and high school and got an invester, and so he opened the growing ice cream shop you now work in. He, like his brother, doesn't know he has cousins until you introduce the bunch to each other.

 

Choi Yoogeun: (Jung Yoogeun/Himself)

Minho's/Taeyang's Brother + Sohee's/Sehun's Cousin

All but frogotten by his self absorbed parents, Yoogeun has always though of his two older brothers as fathers. When his brother Taeyang ran away at age 14 he was fine at first, he knew in his heart that he would come back. After Taeyang turned 16 Yoggeun began to doubt his return and hi happieness went to an all time low as he felt abandoned. This caused Minho to panic and Taeyang came back within a week, bringing Yoogeun smile back with him. The young boy made his brother promise to never leave again and he hasn't since. He doesn't have much trouble with other kids at school and he has been friends with Lauren for over a year now, and he has a small crush on her. You met him through Minho and helped him smile in the time that Taeyang was gone, causing him to like you very much.

Kyungsoo's Sister + Chanyeol's Cousin

Raised by her older brother Kyungsoo who she think of like a mother, Lauren has always acted really respectfully to the right people. Her first impression of her cousin Chanyeol was that he was a e, which made her cry. After her brother got her to understand that Chanyeol was just bad with words and kinda dumb, she didn't cry again but was still cautious of the curly haired giant with a creepy smile.  She was introduced to Tao by her brother, and came to think of him as her father. Tao taught her how to bite back at rude people instead of fall victim to their bullying. She has been friends with Yoogeun for over a year now and has a little crush on him that she told Tao about. Tao demands to meet the boy but she won't let him scare Yoogeun away. You met her through Yoogeun and she likes you just as much as he does.

 

On an unrelated note;(This message is is all my fanfics): If you like Lee Joon or if he is your bias either-in MBLAQ or ultimately-I suggest the story "Over The Distance" It is to-this-day my favorite fanfic of all time. It is clean but fufilling. It is one that I always enjoy returning to and rereading.
