“I have to go now, take care of my sister, you guys.” Jaebum said. He wants to go to Jeju Island on a trip from the university he got in. Junsu and Nichkhun come with him too. Because my parents are on a business trip, and Jaebum couldn’t leave me alone, he asked the guys to stay at my house, help me with house courses, and keep an eye on me while he’s away.

“Got it hyung~” the other four obediently replied. Because we don’t have schools today, we hang out together to a shopping district near my house. Ah, even though a year has passed already, they don’t get tired hanging out with me, huh? Clinging onto me and got excited by themselves.

They got me presents, Taecyeon gives me bracelet that similar to him, Junho gives me a headband, Chansung gives me a cap, and Wooyoung treats me an ice cream. That’s so cute for Wooyoung, he’s so persistent also want to give me something that the others haven’t gave me, but he gets confuse of what he should buy. So instead, he gives me strawberry ice cream, while buying vanilla one for himself.

Taecyeon’s POV

It’s night already. I think I should help Heeyoung to prepare dinner and all, so I step out from the room prepared for me. I see her there in the kitchen, biting her nail with troubled face while looking at the opened refrigerator, and in a sudden, her expression become bright and she picks everything she needs.

“What do you want to make?” I approached her and asked.

“Kimchi soup, samgyeopsal, fried egg. Can you help me?”

“Sure. I’m here to help.” I said, chuckling. “You never change.” I mumbled.

“Huh? You said something?”

“No, nothing.” I did say something. Yeah, you never change. Though your personality is a bit different now, but you never change. You’re her. It’s been a while I think about it, and I always came to a same conclusion, that you are her. Your habit to biting your nail while you’re thinking so hard, or the habit to stuck your tongue out to wet your lips when you’re nervous, or even your favorite ice cream flavor, they don’t change.

You lost your memory, huh. I guess you’ll never remember who I am. I know you very well back then. You’re my best of friend. You disappeared from my sight 6 years ago, and appeared again with different name a year later just like that. At first I thought it’s just your face that looks similar. But when I knew the truth a year ago, it’s like… oh, it’s her then.

“Taecyeon!!!” she shouted.

“Uh? What’s wrong?”

“I’ve been calling you since ever you know, don’t space out or the egg will burnt.”

“Oh, yeah, sorry.”

We eat at eight past ten and watch a dvd we just bought at the shopping district. It’s fun, but my mind seems to be wandering around somewhere in the past, when she’s still her. When I realize, the film ends already and everyone go to their own bed.

About fifteen minutes I go to my room, thunderstorm suddenly shake the ground and its’ sound is everywhere to be heard, and rains rush their way to fall. I suddenly remember that time, on rainy days she is crying so badly. Oh right, if her habit doesn’t change, then she must be terrified right now. What should I do for make an alibi?

An idea crossed my mind. I dial Jaebum’s number and he’s picking up.

“What is it Taec?”

“You arrived already, right hyung?”

“Of course, what kind of question is that?” he laughed. I laugh back.

“Well, I’m just wondering if you’re okay there, since here is raining so badly and there are thunderstorms everywhere.”

“Wha—really? You have to say that earlier!”

“Why hyung?”

“Heeyoungie, she’s bad with thunderstorms. Go to her room now! But Taec, remember, if you make a move on her…”

“You’ll kill me. Right, right, I know that you sister-complex old fart.”

“Yah!!” I laugh and hang up the phone before he yelled at me. “Well that’s enough of an alibi.” I shrugged and go to her room.
