A... Weird Day?
Unrequited love?
“I’m dreaming right? Tell me I’m dreaming.” I mumbled to myself at home. Well, who would not feel like a dream when you talk to an almost complete stranger that you’ve fallen in love for so long? *beep* suddenly I heard the text message’s ring and vibrates from my phone.
From: Taecyeon
To: Heeyoungie
Hi! I just want to check if your phone number worked^^
He texts me. This is absolutely a dream. And before I knew it, I’ve already fallen asleep without replying to his message. I wake up in the morning with a sigh. He actually texts me again when I sleep.
From: Taecyeon
To: Heeyoungie
You’re so cruel!!! It’s like I’m talking with no one now in the message. At least tell me if my message is reaching you.
I chuckle and decide not to reply his message. I sigh, guess can’t be helped. It’s Thursday and it’s national holiday today. I dial Suzy’s number and she’s pretty fast to pick up the phone.
“Suzy, I can’t come the day after tomorrow.” I said to the point.
“Oh well, the four of us knew already you wouldn’t come because of that Taecyeon guy. You really do like him so you won’t ditch him even though it’s one-sided huh?” Suzy replied laughing.
“Yah!!!! So you all knew it already! Tsk."
“Sorry, sorry. Only the four of us knew. We’re closed since you moved in middle school, remember? There’s no way we couldn’t tell how you feel about him ever since.”
“Whatever~ are you guys hanging out today? Since it’s day off.”
“I just happened to call you when you called me. Yeah we planned to do that and ask you to come.”
“I think I’ll pass. I want to spend my time alone now, sorry, and say my apology to them as well.”
“Get it. Byee~” she hang up.
I take a bath then put a black-long sleeves t-shirt with a yellow scarf. I wear my jeans and take a leather-boots to go for a walk. I enter a café and find people familiar there. Well, I've refused them for sure, maybe it’s fate that I actually meet them here? Sigh.
“Hey guys.” I greeted.
“Ah! I thought you said you wouldn’t come? And… how could you know that we’re here?” Dara asked.
“First, I did refuse and second, I just wanted to come here and when I enter the shop there are you guys as well.” I answered. “And may I know who he is?” I asked back when I see a look-like high school boy is with them. I have to admit that he's cute and handsome too, just less height and all of the part of his body are perfect.
“Excuse me, my name is Lee Gikwang. I was born in Japan but my nationality is Korean, and I’ve lived here since I was 5, so I’m fluent at Korean language. You could just call me Gikwang.”
“And by the way, he’s one of the two guys that we planned to be in the blind date as well.” Doojoon explained.
“And we asked him to come here to apologize for cancelling the date.” Suzy added.
“Ah, if that’s true, then I have to say sorry as well, it’s me who being selfish and cancel the date.” I said bowing my hade while taking a seat beside him. “I’m Park Heeyoung, nice to meet you.”
We spend good time together. And in the end, I was not spending my time alone. Sigh. I refuse Gikwang’s offer to company me home because my real intention is to have a nice minutes by myself. Gikwang—have I met him before?
“Welcome home~” Jaebum greeted when I entered the house.
“I’m home oppa.” I replied.
Park Jaebum, he’s my famous older brother. He stands out well, he can sing, dance, b-boy, rap, and anything like that. He’s in college now. He attended the same high school as me, and a popular one there. When I entered the high school was when my brother graduated, and I’m not really that popular, so even though everyone in the school still knows him -despite the fact he's not in the high school anymore- , they barely know I’m his sister.
“What is it, with the sigh, dongsaeng? Should I kiss and hug you to cheer you up?” he chuckled as he said that, this erted, sister complex old man, geez.
I slapped his head, “Watch your mouth, stupid-sister complex older brother!”
“Ow, ow. It hurts!”
“Serves you right.” I pouted and go to the kitchen to have hot chocolate.
“Hey, I’ll have my guys come here for the first time this Friday until Sunday. Is it alright?” he asked.
“If I said it is not, would you like to throw them away? Don’t ask me that question. Of course it’s alright. How many people? Mom and dad don’t seem will come home in a while, so I have to prepare for dinner and all.”
“It’s 6 people. All of them are boys.”
