Mei's/Andrea's POV

On cue, my alarm starts beeping at 8 am, waking me up from my slumber. Upon waking up, I grabbed my cell and looked to see if my boyfriend texted me.

Awww... Why didn't he text me yet! Doesn't he know it's my birthday...? He didn't even pick up last night! Ugh!

Annoyed with my boyfriend, I quickly got out of bed and changed into my uniform angrily.

Michelle then knocks on the door and says, Yahh, Andrea, are you up?

I replied I AM, WAIT ONE MINUTE! in a shouting tone.

Michelle then opened the doors and peeked in and said, Birthday girl, are you alright?

All I did was sigh and say, ...I`m annoyed with John. Very annoyed. He hasn`t wished me a happy birthday yet! I whined.

Michelle then came in and patted my back and said, Don`t worry. I`m pretty sure he will call you tonight.

I nodded my head and she guides me downstairs.

I`ll try to call him again when we're in school.

*At school*

At Lunch, once again, I tried to contact my boyfriend.

Goddamnit, why isn't he picking up his phone?!

I then angrily jammed my phone into my locker.

All of a sudden, I felt a tap on my shoulders.

This caused me to to turn and I saw an overly happy Chen who was smiling quite brightly, and it seemed like he was hiding something behind his back. What did he have there?

Hi, Mei! He greets.

Hi, Chen Chen, I grinned. What are you hiding? I asked.

Chen all of a sudden revealed the hidden object and said, Tadah~

In his hands were roses and a small, pink, wrapped box.

HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY MEI! He shouts.

I then quickly placed my hand over his mouth and whispered to him, Chen! Keep it down. I don`t want anyone to know about my birthday! Sheesh!

I pulled my hand off and Chen whines, Why don`t you want people to know?~

I shrugged my shoulders in reply and Chen once again yells out, GUYS! IT`S ANDREA'S Birth- mmmmm!  Before he could finish I quickly covered his mouth.

CHEN! WHAT DID I TELL YOU! QUIET DOWN! I`m not in the mood! I yelled at him.

Chen then said something but I still didn't understand, since my hands were still covering his mouth.

What? I asked him as I removed my hands.

He then smirked and said, If you want me to keep your birthday a secret, then you have to celebrate it with me after school.

I quickly nodded in agreement and we went back to school.

As I started to walk to class, I turned back to Chen and put a finger on my lips. He just nods his head in reply.

Maybe hanging with Chen Chen will make me feel better. Gahhh, my JERK boyfriend is ruining my birthday! That idiot!

*Afterschool*

After my last class, I walked straight to my locker.

Did John at least text me yet?

When I got there, Chen was already there waiting. When he saw me, he quickly waved and showed his bright smile.

I greeted him back with a another smile and asked, Where are we going?

He replied It`s a surprise! and pushed me closer to my locker.
