Jiyong's POV 

As soon as I entered Chief Superintendent Ahn's room, I knew my life is already at danger. There are four officers around and on high alert. 

I just hope that our plan will work out. 

"Inspector Kwon..." He welcomed me with a very bright face which I find annoying. "Good to have you here." 

I simply clench my fist and looked at him seriously then casually checked my collar where a hidden audio chip was in placed. "What is this about, Sir?" 

He stand up. "Sorry to call you suddenly."  Then he walk around me as I was standing in front of his desk. "But I only wanted to give you a reminder." He stopped in front of me. "Stop investigating The White Plains case." I maintain my serious face. "I thought it is clear that since it is already under us months ago, you won't intervene with it." 

"With all due respect Sir, as a police, I have a duty that I promised to do..." I stare intensely at him. "And that is to give fair justice to anyone." 

"Of course but sometimes, minding your own business is a must. Investigate all you want except this case." 

"I am afraid but I can't follow your oder, Sir. This case caused someone's pain and I intended to end it." 

His eyes narrowed at me. "Is it your wife, Inspector?" Then he put his mouth close to my right ear. "Do you want me to cause another pain on her?" 

Though tempted to throw him, I calmed myself. Violence is not the solution. "Do it and you'll regret that you invited me to come to this room of yours." 

"Was that a threat?" 

I chuckled. "No Sir. It was a statement." 

"Do you think I would fall on that trick, Inspector?" 

"I wish you will be, Sir but I knew that you won't as I know how dirty you work since a decade ago." 

He smirked then my mind shouted yes as he went back to his chair. The plan is working. This time, I casually fixed my ID where a hidden video chip was in placed. Our set of audiences will surely see him. "That's a clear accusation, Inspector." 

"I validate all the information Sir before I say something. That's what you taught us." 

"I guess you learned well from me." 

"That is right, Sir. The only thing I didn't learn from you was how to wear a police uniform where in fact you are the monster that has been hiding beneath it." 

His eyes became fiery then he raised his one hand as his comrades reload their gun machines. "Calm down boys." He keeps on staring fiercely at me. If only it could kill, I would probably lying on the floor already.  "I am a monster? It hurts, Inspector." 

"I highly doubt that. You don't have conscience to begin with." I smirked again. "First, you faked my wife's death. Second, you killed those members of the syndicate that Sajangnim caught. And now, you are trying to silence Ms MiSook." 

He stand up and slammed his desk. "You have no respect on me, Inspector. Do you have evidence?" 

"I do have, Sir." He stunned. He obviously didn't expect this to happen. "Even you kill me now, the truth will come out anyway." 

"Show me your evidence." 

"Unfortunately, it is not in my possession at the moment. I placed it somewhere and who knows who will see it and guess how many copies I made?" 

He gritted his teeth. "I am not afraid of you, Inspector." 

"You don't need to, Sir." 

"Do you know that I can destroy your job...your friends...your family.. and your wife?" 

"Go ahead Sir, just like what I've said earlier, the truth will come out anyway even you take our lives." 

Then things suddenly happened fast as I found myself lying on the floor as he punch me. "You sure you are cocky, Inspector. Full of yourself. You didn't know that who was the boss here? I could kill you instantly." 

I spit my saliva and saw some blood on it then stand up. "I know Sir that you are my boss but did you know how much I hate that you used your power for your personal interest?"
