Myungsoo and Soorin entered a meat restaurant. Soorin looked around and saw that the restaurant looked so fancy and beautiful. It was decorated with nice and attractive ornaments that Soorin couldn't help but open widely. 'Woah, is this a fairytale ...? Since when do such places even exist....?' Soorin thought to herself.

 

"Woah, this place seems to sell expensive food! Why did you bring me here?!" Soorin spoke softly while facing Myungsoo. Myungsoo snickered. "It's my family's restaurant you pabo."

 

“What a rich kid…” Soorin eyes lit up with envy and slight sadness. She was just thinking how she has been cooking and dining by her own since young but... As Soorin followed Myungsoo, her heart skipped a beat as he pulled a chair out for her. Soorin blushed slightly with a soft whisper of thanks as she sat down on the chair. 

 

“Just order whatever you want, it’s my treat.” Myungsoo smiled. Soorin looked away from Myungsoo, gosh, that smile….was so irresistible. They quickly ordered their food and it arrived in no time.

 

Soorin froze when she saw the spread on the table. Her eyes opened wide and her jaws dropped. She did a little jig, then gingerly picked up a piece of meat roll, and stuffed it deep into . She closed her eyes and purred with delight as the sweetness filled . As she munched onto the roll, her face flushed with pure enjoyment. She had never taste such good food in her life. 

 

Myungsoo looked at Soorin amusingly as he laughed. “What’s wrong? Are the food too delicious for you huh?” Myungsoo grinned. He was contented with Soorin’s reaction. “Pssh, I make better food than this!” Soorin lied. 

 

Just as Soorin was going to cut her meat and take a bite, Myungsoo shoved her plate away and snatched her utensils from her. “I will cut it for you. You are such a weakling, are you sure you can cut this golden meat?” Soorin rolled her eyes at Myungsoo’s arrogance. 

 

Soorin started wolfing down her food as Myungsoo stared at her. “What? Stop looking at me and eat your food.” Soorin said as she stuffed another piece of meat into . “You are cuter when you are quiet.” Myungsoo replied as he placed a meat into his mouth. Soorin almost choked when she heard Myungsoo’s sentence. Did he just praised her indirectly? No way.

 

Finishing the plates of meat, the two of them headed out of the restaurant. “Thank you for today… I guess I enjoyed the food...you rich kid..who is kind..at least..” Soorin admitted although the last five words were more like a whisper. Myungsoo couldn’t help but smile widely. "Oh? I am sure you enjoy your own food better since you said it tasted nicer.” Myungsoo teased. Soorin coughed loudly and walked away, feeling more embarrassed than she ever could.

 

After the dinner,the 'gentleman' Myungsoo offered to send Soorin home in his car. Even though it was awkward at first, both of them started talking comfortably to each other after Myungsoo started a conversation.

 

As they spoke more to each other, they realized they have a lot of similar likings and hobbies. Myungsoo found out that Soorin loves photography just like him and Soorin found out how Myungsoo loves the beach just like her.

 

"Don't you think the sea is the nicest at the beach?" Soorin asked casually. "Yeah, you mean when you almost drowned huh?" Myungsoo looked at Soorin and smirked. Oh god, this guy's teasing never ends. Soorin just opened and closed it back again because she just did not know how to answer to that, she was probably embarrassed again.

 

The car stopped in front of Soorin’s house. Soorin was about to step out of the car when she was pulled by Myungsoo. Myungsoo pulled her into his chest and hugged her. Soorin held her breath as he did that. "Lee Soorin, thank you for today.” 

 

Soorin nodded without saying anything, she ran out of words to say to Myungsoo. That hug was so unexpected that she did not know how to respond. 

 

Just as Soorin was about to go into her house, she turned around and waved at Myungsoo cheerfully. Myungsoo drove off blissfully as he felt fireworks in his stomach.

 

When Myungsoo drove away, Soorin's knees wobbled. Regaining her composure, she closed the door. As she leaned behind her door, she placed her palms against her heart. It was beating so irregularly that she felt nervous out of a sudden. She breathed in and out while trying to calm her nerves.

 

Her heart was beating faster than ever. That feeling...it could not be described simply with words. Not knowing what was going on with herself, she wondered about it as she went up to her room...
