I found it difficult to sleep last night, I wanted to believe that it was because of the couple next door who did not finish until 2am but I think it had more to do with Jiyong not being next to me. 

Waking up, therefore was a struggle. Somehow I made it into work on time and grabbed the things I would need for todays meetings. 

When lunch time arrived I left the office and crossed the street to Minji and I's favorite restaurant. I was meeting Minji, SooJin and HaNa for lunch, although I was too tired to answer any of their questions about my weekend I knew that they would not let me get away with being silent. 

After the waiter left the table with our orders I told the girls what had happened from going to the temple and the aquarium and the nighttime walk along the beach, being sure to not give too many details about us sleeping together.

"And you think he doesn't like you?" HaNa said shocked after I had finished speaking

I shrugged

"Lola isn't sure what to do" Minji spoke for me

"You need to let him know that if he was to ask you out officially you wouldn't say no!" SooJin commented

"Yeah, you're right. But he keeps mentioning that I'm a good friend. I don't want to ruin a friendship if he doesn't feel the same way as I do" I sighed

"There's no way he doesn't like you, he took you to Busan for a weekend!" Minji said

I needed to use the bathroom so excused myself. When I got back it was time to get back to work. Minji and I left HaNa and SooJin and made our way to the office.

"What does he have planned for tonight?" Minji asked sitting in my office

"I don't know, but he said it was going to be good" I replied getting some files ready

I noticed my phone vibrate to inform me I had a new message. It was from Jiyong:

'That's cute. I missed cuddling my Lola last night ^^ I feel happy knowing I can see you this evening with my surprise!"

I was confused at his message until I saw the one I had 'sent' him prior:

'I missed sleeping with you last night Jiyong, it doesn't feel right not waking up to you!'

Minji must have sensed something as when I looked up she was making her way towards the door

"Did you happen to send a message to Jiyong when I was in the bathroom?" I asked, crossing my arms

"It wasn't my idea, honest. HaNa did it!" Minji confessed "We just want you two to be together so we thought we would help"

"You're lucky I have a meeting right now, I will scold you later!" I said grabbing the files and leaving the office

"You're welcome" Minji shouted at me

I just couldn't help but smile, maybe my crazy friends have done me a favor.

"Let me help you with those files Lola" Said Hyunsoo after the meeting

"Thanks" I replied letting him take them from me

"I need to get your office moved closer to mine, I don't understand why my PA has an office on another floor!" He laughed

I stopped dead in my tracks when I walked into my office, on my desk was a vase filled with orange and lavender roses. A card was sticking out of the top.

Hyunsoo noticed the flowers as soon as I had.

"Are those for you?" He asked putting my folders down next to the flowers

"They must have been delivered whilst we were in the meeting" I said trying to sound vague, I knew who they were from without having to look at the card, Hyunsoo however felt it necessary to read what had been written:

Beautiful roses for my beautiful Lola,

Thank you for an amazing weekend. Here's to 92 more days

Jiyong

I cringed when i saw his reaction to the card. 

"You spent the weekend with someone?" He asked putting the card back

"Yes, my friend" I replied, not sure where to look

"Your friend who happens to call you beautiful and is male?" 

I could only nod in confirmation

"Don't forget that you represent me and my company, spending the weekend with men is not a good image. This is Korea, not England. You need to be careful of gaining a reputation. Don't make me have to rethink your time here"

And with that he left. There was a ounce of anger in his speech. I was unsure if he was generally looking out for me and giving me advice or if he was concerned about his company. One thing I didn't want to think he was expressing was jealousy. 

I turned to smell the flowers, turning round when I heard a soft knock at the door. It was Minji, looking wide eyed.

"I just heard everything" She said quietly closing the door for privacy "All I can say is wow" 

"I know, do you think I said the wrong thing?" I asked sitting down

"Not at all, I think he would have that reaction if you said Jiyong was your boyfriend" She said sitting on another chair in the office "Do you think he was jealous?" 

"It crossed my mind, but he's newly married. He's my boss, it would be inappropriate!" I replied playing with my fingers "I hope it doesn't affect anything."

"I'm sure it won't" Minji gave me a smile "Anyway let's forget about Park and talk about the fact that Jiyong sent you flowers. Not any flowers, roses!"

"He is kind of cute isn't he?" I laughed

"Now you can't say he doesn't feel the same way as you. I've never had a male friend do anything like that to me before" 

"But you've never been friends with Jiyong. He's over the top, that's his personality."

Minji rolled her eyes "Stop coming up with excuses!"

I laughed, turning my computer back on and sending a quick text to Jiyong to thank him for the flowers.

"I'm going to tell you a secret Lola" Minji whispered

"And what is that?" I asked intrigued by her straight face

"Flowers have meanings and I know what these roses mean" She said with a smug smile

"Do you really believe that Jiyong purposefully selected flowers to give me a hidden meaning?" I asked in disbelief

"Yes I do, because he would worry about your reaction if he told you the truth!" 

I ignored her and continued with my work, all I needed was to give Hyunsoo another reason to get rid of me.

"Don't you want to know?" She asked after a while

"Oh, you're still here" I said pretending to be surprised. Truth was she was hard to ignore with her constant sighs and tuts.

"Roses mean romance in general, however orange roses signify desire and lavender roses mean love at first sight!" She said grinning at me "He wants you bad"

I couldn't stop laughing

"So if he really did know the meaning he wants to be my boyfriend?" I asked

"Exactly" She agreed

I continued laughing

"Minji go do some work" I said pointing to the door

Minji pouted and left my office.

"You are gonna be so stoked for this surprise" Jiyong said whilst driving to our destination

I smiled at his face, he had been smiling like a small child since I first greeted him. He really was a cutie.

Jiyong parked in front of a building and guided me inside and to the elevator. He pushed the eighth floor and laughed at my confused face. He couldn't keep still, fidgeting from excitement.

We exited the elevator and made our way to a door that said '808'

"The code is 0627" He said, that sounded a lot like my birthday.

I entered the code and the door unlocked. Opening the door I stepped inside and removed my shoes. Jiyong followed me inside. we were standing inside what looked like an open plan living area. Everything was new and clean, it didn't look like anyone was living here.

"What's this?" I asked turning round to face Jiyong

"This is your apartment" He said throwing his hands in the air

Jiyong had organized for me to have an apartment, it was only 4 subway stops away from work and was closer to his apartment. The main thing was I could move out of the love motel. 

I couldn't stop thanking Jiyong or hugging him. 

"Does this make you feel like staying?" He asked as I looked out across Seoul.

I nodded my head "There's been a change recently in how I feel about Seoul"

"Really? What else has made you want to stay" 

"You" I answered sincerely, hoping that i wouldn't scare him away

He smiled at my answer and wrapped and arm around my shoulder

"I'm glad I have the power to make you stay" 

"Jiyong, the roses earlier?" I asked looking up at him "Minji said they have a meaning"

I suddenly felt my cheeks glow red and had to look away

"What do they mean?"

"Minji said orange roses mean desire and lavender means love at first sight" I replied quietly

He placed two fingers under my chin and moved my head to look at him

"I'm glad the florist was correct. I knew what they meant and I'm glad you do too" He said quietly looking into my eyes.

It felt like my heart stopped because he leant forward and captured my lips. It was a gentle kiss that lasted just long enough. I couldn't hide my smile when he pulled away. 

I touched my lips, my first kiss was pretty much perfect.

I turned to him again placing my hands around his neck and kissing him with more force this time. He put his hand on my hips and pulled me in, his tongue my bottom lip. Unsure of what to do I opened my mouth and let his tongue play with mine. 

We pulled apart when the air in our lungs had all but gone. He put his forehead against mine

"If I had known the flowers would have this type of effect!" He laughed, I slapped his arm and wrapped my arms around his waist for a hug.

I had finally found my reason to stay.

Finally! They kissed!!! I'm so happy!

However, it's not the end of the story. We still have 92 days and the course of true love never did run smooth. That's all I'm going to say for now.
