Smashing The Hourglass~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Kris watched with bated breath as the two witches seemed to have a stare down. The foggy air seemed to be thicker than usual around them, with an electric current to it that made him want to turn and run as far as he could get.
“It seems you’ve taken to ignoring my orders, and we both know what happens to those that don’t heed my words,” Alessa informed the stoic Miah. “But that’s the problem right there isn’t it,” Miah remarked back, “You assume I care what you do if I don’t listen. You seem to have overlooked the fact that you made me forget to care.”
Forget to care? What was that supposed to mean?
Whatever Alessa had done to Miah, Kris knew it had something to do with the reason she was trying to kill Heather. The Miah he knew would never do something like that otherwise. Yet, even with a slight confirmation that his friend was not herself due to someone else’s will didn’t comfort him. If anything, it made him more on edge.
He took a few steps backwards, pushing Yoona behind him, and mentally calling for Jae and Suho to move away from the danger he could feel coming.
He watched the tilt of Alessa’s lips; it’s mix of a grimace and a smile burning him cold. He couldn’t help himself any longer. He had to say something. “Jaehwa, Joonmyun…come here, now.”
The two carefully glanced back, then at each other. They didn’t need to speak to know what they had to do, and Kris himself could see in their body language what was on their minds. He didn’t exactly like it, but if he was close enough he’d probably do the same.
“You’ve become too arrogant Sun Eunmi,”Alessa sneered, “I think it’s about time I put you back in your place little witch.”
With that threat, and without any forewarning, Miah attacked. Her eyes darkened, and her fingers twitched as she bellowed from the pit of her stomach. It hit the other witch like a sonic boom, knocking her off her feet.
Alessa smirked, enjoying the anger in Miah's attack. It was now her turn, and she wasn't going to let it go to waste. She let her inner thoughts flow out, mentally calling for her creatures. Within seconds they were pouring from the alleys, and up through the sewers. They ignored the humans that were trying their hardest to stay out of the way, and went straight for the witch that earned their master's wrath.
Miah didn't let the mass numbers phase her. Creatures of this kind no longer phased her. She threw her hands out blowing dozens away at a time, and blinked at other
