Soon enough, the week had already gone by and it was already the night of the dance. Everyone was in a rush to get their things together and making sure they had their routines down. There was only one hour left until the dance started. 

The whole crew was already at school and getting ready in the special changing room backstage usually reserved for the acting club. Girls were running around, trying to find shoes or trying to finish their hair. Guys were fixing their hair or fixing their ties. 

Juri was looking in the mirror trying to fix her dress and making sure it wouldn't stick into her shorts underneath. Her hair was slightly curled but still very loose. 

"Yah, you're dress is fine." Dahee appeared from behind her wearing a white dress similar to hers, except her dress had a peter pan collar. Juri sighed in relief, "Dahee, you're here!" She gave her a hug before pulling away and admiring her dress. 

"Wow. You're dress is so pretty! V's going to fall hard for you!" Juri joked. Dahee laughed and jokingly pushed her away, "Yah!" She whined. 

"What? It's true! Stop being so shy about it!" Juri said, laughing. Dahee turned away from her and fixed her hair in the mirror. Juri chuckled quietly before sitting down in the vacant styling chair next to her. 

"Speaking of V, have you seen him?" Dahee asked, worriedly. Juri shook her head, "No, I haven't seen Jungkook or Jimin either." 

Juri glanced over at the door, hoping they'd appear, but they didn't. She sighed and made sure her makeup was okay. "Are y'all ready?" Alice asked as she came up from behind. 

Juri and Dahee both stood up to bow in greeting. "Yeah, I think we are," Juri said, slightly smiling. Alice glanced at Dahee, "Nervous?" Dahee nodded vigorously. "Very!" 

Alice laughed wholeheartedly and patted her shoulder. "You'll be fine! I assure you, it's a lot of fun!" Dahee could only nod before Alice turned her attention towards Juri. 

"Juri, do you have everything down? You two will be dancing your routines together, right?" Alice asked. Juri nodded, "Yeah. Oh, and Alice Saem, where's Jungkook, V, and Jimin?" 

Alice looked around, "They're not here yet?" Juri shook her head, "No...are they?" Alice furrowed her eyebrows in worry. "We're entering soon...where could they be?" 

Alice left them hanging without an answer as she made her way to talk to Jason. Juri glanced at Dahee, "Where are they?" 

"Crew! 5 minutes until we enter!" Jason yelled. Everyone did last minute things and made their ways towards the doors when they were quickly pushed open. In came Jungkook, Jimin, and V. 

They were all breathing heavily and their clothes were untidy, but they were wearing their suits. 

"Sorry we're late!" Jimin said while catching his breath. Jason and Alice ran forward. "Are you guys okay? What took you all so long!?" 

Jungkook was the first to stand and shook his head, hands on his hips. "It's nothing. Hyung's car broke down." 

Alice nodded before pulling them all forward to fix their suits. After a couple minutes, everyone was ready. Everyone slowly piled out from behind the stage and towards the dance. 

Juri was walking with the boys and Dahee. The music from the dance could be heard as they walked down the hall. Dahee nervously grabbed Juri's arm. 

"Juri, what do I do after the stomps? Omona, I forgot! Ottokae!?" She said, panicking. Juri patted Dahee's hand, "You'll be fine, okay? And after we stomp, we go forward," Juri demonstrated what the routine was in front of Dahee, "--and then we let the next pair come through." 

Dahee bit her lip. She was absolutely terrified and scared. "First time?" Dahee looked up and noticed V walking by her side. 

"Oh, Oppa." V gave her an eye-smile and interlaced their fingers. "You'll be great. It's okay if you mess up! Just don't show it on your face and no one will ever know." 

Dahee nodded slowly as V pulled her closer, putting his arm around her shoulders and kissing the top of her head. 

Juri, Jungkook, and Jimin had went ahead and left the TaeHee couple to have their moment. "So, can I get the first dance?" Jimin asked jokingly to Juri. 

Juri laughed, "I don't mind! I just hope your fangirls don't kill me on Monday!" Jungkook glared at the two as Jimin bumped his shoulder with Juri and she did the same back. 

He came from behind and seperated the two. "Yah, hyung. I'll be having the dance since that's part of the routine!" Jimin cocked his head to the side, "Oh really? Oh, yeah! I forgot! Well, I guess I'll be having the second dance then." 

Jungkook opened his mouth to yell at his hyung, but he held his tongue, afraid he would be exposing too much. Jimin raised an eyebrow at Jungkook but then smiled, "I'll leave you two to do some last minute preps. No funny business in the hallway!" He waved before leaving them and running to the cafeteria where the dance was being held. 

Juri's eyes widened at his comment, "What!? Yah, oppa!" She yelled. Jungkook scrunched up his face at Jimin's comment but he let it go after a while. Juri sighed and shook her arms. 

Jungkook gave her a weird look, "...what are you doing?" Juri turned to him, "What? I always shake my body before dancing. It's a way to relieve me of my nervousness. Don't judge!" 

Jungkook slowly nodded in understanding. "Right.." Juri made a face, knowing he was slightly judging her. She shrugged her shoulders and continued to shake her arms.

'Jungkook can judge all he wants! I don't care...but I bet he thinks I'm a total weirdo...wait! Juri, you said you didn't care! Aish, you idiot,' she thought to herself. 

Jungkook chuckled as she continued to shake the nervousness away. 'Juri, you need to stop doing all of these things that make me more nervous than needed!' He thought. 

After a couple more minute, they were in the cafeteria. Some people were dancing to the song playing and others were chatting or hanging out together. 

Juri looked around, amazed at the decorations on the wall. "Wow...they really did it this year!" She exclaimed. Jungkook slowly nodded in agreement, "Tell me about it. I've never seen a place so...Valentiney." 

The walls were strung with red and pink streamer, spiraling all across; including the ceiling. There were also red hearts stuck on the walls of all different sized. In the front of the word was the DJ. Even his table was decorated! There were also little tables everywhere with lace covers, fake lit candles in the middle of it. 

Some people were sitting at the tables and chatting. Even the lighting was romantic! From across the room, Jungkook noticed Dong Min standing there and chatting with Jae Hoon, Ah Ri, and Minjung. 

Ah Ri had noticed the two of them enter in and she waved towards them. Then she beckoned them over. When she did so, she made the other three there with her turn and look. Juri's eyes widened, "Oh no. They spotted us." Juri gave Ah Ri a little smile and wave before slowly starting her way over there. 

Jungkook noticed Dong Min stand straighter as Juri made her way over. Jungkook quickly walked behind Juri and grabbed her arm. Juri turned around, surprised. 

"Jungkook, what are you doing?" She asked. Jungkook glanced at Dong Min and noticed that he was glaring at him. Jungkook then glanced down at Juri. Her eyes were wide in surprise. She glanced at his hand on her arm. 

"Jungkook, let go." She said. Jungkook shook his head, looking her straight in the eyes. "Why are you heading over there? I thought you didn't like Dong Min." 

Juri sighed, "I don't. But Ah Ri is a friend of mine. I don't want to ignore her when I clearly saw her wave at me. Plus, Dong Min messaged me last night that he had to give me something." 

Jungkook was taken by surprise. Dong Min told her he had something to give her? He felt a bit hurt that she was so willing to go to him and loosened his grip on her arm. 

Finally, he sighed in defeat and released his hold on her arm. "Fine...but I'm going with you. You don't know what Dong Min could do to you alone. He's head over heels for you." 

Juri raised an eyebrow, "I won't go anywhere alone with him...trust me. Plus Dong Min's not like that." Jungkook scoffed and grabbed her hand, "Yeah, right. You just don't know him like I do." 

He held her hand and interlaced their fingers. Juri's heart instantly sped up as Jungkook led the way towards Ah Ri. She could feel the stares that they were getting from the people standing around them as they passed by. 

"Omo, is that Jungkook holding Juri's hand?" 

"She's so lucky! I want to be her so bad!" 

"Aish, I wish I could dance too." 

Juri could hear all kinds of comments as they continued to walk by. Then Jungkook stopped. Juri bumped into his back before quickly recovering and standing by his side instead. 

"Hi, Ah Ri!" Juri greeted. Ah Ri smiled and gave her a wave. "Hello! Gee, it feels like I haven't seen you at all!" 

"But we have two classes together..." Juri said. Ah Ri laughed, "Exactly! But we sit on different sides of the room!" Juri nodded in understanding. 

Jae Hoon gave Jungkook a high-five and waved at Juri, "Hey, Juri! What's--Why are you guys holding hands?" Juri looked down at their hands and noticed that they were still together. She blushed and quickly pulled away. 

Juri laughed nervously, "Oh, that's bec--" "She's my date for the dance." Juri turned her head, eyes wide. She stared at Jungkook before he pulled her next to him by her waist. 

Ah Ri, Jae Hoon, Dong Min, and Minjung were all equally surprised as Juri. Juri was the first to recover, "Y-Yeah, what he said..." she said quietly. Minjung looked at Juri and crossed her arms before scoffing. She then walked off, but not before purposely bumping into Juri. 

Juri's expression hardened when Minjung walked past her, but Jungkook tightened his grip as if to signify that he was there. 

"O-Oh...does that mean that you two are a couple!?" Ah Ri asked. Juri shook her head, "No, we're not dating." Jungkook glanced at her, "Well, not yet at least." Juri hit his chest, "Shut up!" Jungkook chuckled at her reaction, "What? It's true!" 

Ah Ri clasped her hands together, "Aw! You two are so cute! You better grab her soon, Jungkook. Juri has A LOT of admirers!" Jungkook laughed and glanced at Dong Min, "Oh, I know. That's why I'm not letting her out of my sight tonight." He said while looking at him. 

Dong Min glared at Jungkook one last time before walking away. Jungkook then glanced back down at Juri who was talking with Ah Ri and being bombarded with questions as she asked who she liked. 

Then after a while, Jimin came jogging up. "Hey, let's go. We're going to start." Juri nodded and said goodbye to Ah Ri and Jae Hoon. 

"Huh? Where are you going?" Ah Ri asked, giving Juri a confused look. Juri patted her shoulder, "You'll see." Then she left them and went with Jungkook and Jimin. 

"Y'know, she's kind of cute.." Jimin mentioned. This earned a hard nudge in the ribs from Juri. "Oppa! She has a boyfriend!" He laughed while rubbing the spot she hit, "I know, I know! I was kidding! Calm down!" 

Juri glared at him as he continued to laugh. "I was kidding! Plus, I already have my eyes on someone..." Jimin said. At this, both Juri and Jungkook turned to him with wide eyes. 

"WHO!?" they simultaneously said. They looked at each other before looking back at Jimin. Jimin laughed out loud and pointed at them, "Yah! You two are a total couple!" 

"Oppa! Tell us! Or at least tell me!" Juri insisted. She tugged on his arm and unknowingly did aegyo."Oppa! Tell me!" 

Jungkook took a step back. Did Juri just--? Jimin also looked at her, surprised. "Juri...did you just--" 

"Use aegyo!?" Jungkook cut Jimin. Juri's eyes widened and she quickly covered . "Omg, did I!?" She gasped out loud. "I did!?" Jungkook and Jimin slowly nodded as she gasped out loud again. 

"You..you've never used aegyo before," Jungkook mumbled, still surprised. Juri frowned, hand still covering , "So!? Is it wrong!?" 

He quickly shook his head, "No! I didn't mean it that way! It's not bad!" Juri frowned some more before turning on her heel and walking away quickly towards Dahee. 

Jimin patted Jungkook's shoulder. "Wow. I was not expecting that. She sure has a lot of charms. I can see why you like her so much." Jungkook opened his mouth to protest, but Jimin cut him. "Don't even try to deny it! You know it's true. Everyone knows that it's true." 

Jungkook's eyes widened, "What!? Everyone!?" Jimin nodded, "Yeah, but when I say 'everyone' I mean us, hyungs. I don't know about everyone else here though." Jungkook sighed in relief. He was glad only his hyungs knew. Jimin took hold of both his shoulders and spun him around. 

"Now, let's go! They're all waiting for us I bet!" Jimin pushed him forward and they ran across the room to join V. Just as they got together, the room darkened. 

"Ladies and gentlemen! We have tonight a special performance by our very own combined dance team! Please stay clear of the dance floor and enjoy the performance!" The DJ announced. The spotlight then came back on. 

It landed on a certain person. It was a girl from RS High. She did some ballet and contemporary dances, and in the middle of the performance, a guy also from RS High joined in and they did a couple dance. After a couple more solos and audience clapping, it was Juri and Dahee's turn. Juri inhaled as she moved into the middle with Dahee. The room was in complete silence. 

"WOOT! GO DAHEE!" V yelled out in the silence. Juri chuckled to herself and gave Dahee's hand a squeeze before walking a couple steps away from her. Then the music started. Everyone let out loud whoops as the girls started their routine. 

Their dance wasn't long, since Alice told them to all keep it short. After they finished, the crowd went wild. It was totally not what the school had expected from the two girls, wearing dresses and sneaker wedges. Even Jungkook and V were blown away. Jimin prodded Jungkook in the arm, "Yah, you're lucky to have a partner that can dance like that!" 

Jungkook found himself smiling proudly as he watched Juri and Dahee make their way to their original spots. He watched her turn around and give Dahee a hug and her jumping around. 

"Jungkook~! You're staring again!" Jimin sang, raising his eyebrows in a taunting matter. Jungkook gave him a little push, "Hyung! Stop!" he whined. Jimin laughed loudly as groups continued to pass by and dance. 

After two solos from BH High, it was now the last group; BTS. Jungkook walked out into the middle with confidence as Jimin and V followed him. They would be dancing to their own song that Rap Monster had produced and that J-Hope had choreographed. J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook were supposed to perform this last year, but they couldn't since they never had the chance to. 

Luckily, J-Hope was happy enough to teach V the dance so that he could fill in his spot. Jimin moved to the middle as Jungkook and V put on masks, standing on the sides of the circle as girls went crazy. Juri covered her ears as the music started and the screams got louder. 

She watched in awe as Jimin, V, and Jungkook captivated the crowd, and pretty much killing all the fangirls in the room. 

Her eyes couldn't help but to follow Jungkook as he did his movements with the mask and then throwing it away. She watched silently with a small smile on her lips, when they made eye contact. Jungkook gave her a wink before spinning around, with his back towards her. 

Juri scoffed but then chuckled as he made his way towards her. Her eyes slightly widened as he came closer with a poker face. She looked around and noticed people parting out of his way as the room became quiet again. She glanced at Alice and saw her give her a thumbs up. 'Oh crap...the couple dance!' she thought. 

Juri turned her attention back to Jungkook and noticed that he was right in front of her, staring intently into her eyes. Juri's breath was taken away as she stood there rigid, waiting for his next move. 

His arm slowly s his way around her and she felt a hand of his rest on her hip. Juri took in a shaky breath as she set her hands behind his head. There was now whoops and whistles going around before Jungkook smirked while staring at her. 

Juri wanted to smack the smirk off his face, since he was making it more and more hard for her to breathe. 

She closed her eyes, not wanting to look at people as she did the routine. Juri listened to the music instead and focused on her movements. She pulled her leg up Jungkook's and then rested it around his hip. 

Jungkook grabbed her leg and pulled her forward, their faces inches apart. Juri opened her eyes right after he gave her a spin when she hit against his chest. 

She felt like no one else was in the room as she stared at Jungkook's eyes. He was staring right back at her, his eyes occasionally glancing down at her lips. 

They stayed like that for a moment before Juri blinked a couple of times, losing eye contact with him. 

'Shoot, we missed our mark!' Juri scolded herself. She saw Dahee and V already doing the next set of steps from the corner of her eye. 

As though reading her mind, Jungkook quickly advanced and spun her around to buy time. Then he dipped her in time with the other couples. 

Juri was taken by surprise with his quick thinking but then dismissed it and focused on her next steps. 

After a while, they were at the very end. The end was very sentimental as Jungkook held her close, their foreheads together. Juri took in a deep breath as Jungkook placed his hands around her head, tilting her head. Juri in her breath as Jungkook kissed her forehead. 

All the lights switched off, as Juri opened her eyes. She looked up and waited for a moment for her eyes to adjust. She saw Jungkook's face only a couple of centimeters away. 

She could feel his breath on her lips and cheek from their close proximity. Suddenly, she felt something light and soft touch her lips. Her eyes widened when she realized what was happening. 

She was being kissed. By Jungkook. 

Before she could react or anything, he pulled away and the lights turned back on. She stared at him and noticed that his ears were red. She watched him swiftly turned around and away from her. 

She couldn't help but to smile, happy that her first kiss was from Jungkook. 

The one person she liked more than a friend.
